Azlo (Weredragons Of Tuviso) (A Sci Fi Alien Weredragon Romance) by Maia Starr (40)

Commander Nykon Reev

I had done it. I had committed a crime. Having sex with the human female Amber was breaking the law against such acts. My race of Grantsions Zenkian was very adamant that we did not participate in such things, but I had given into my desires.  Now, I was a criminal. But I was not able to help myself. I could not stop thinking about her. I found myself so distracted that I knocked on her door. I had planned just to tell her the reason why I was acting cold to her. I did not plan on being with her. But when I was near her, it was like something else took hold of me. I had no control, and the fact that she responded to my advances made it so that both of us were invested in this; we were not going to stop.

“We have to keep this a secret,” she said as she rolled over and looked at me. Her brown hair fell around her naked skin.

“When are you scheduled to return?” I asked suddenly feeling a sense of loss, that she would not be on the same planet as me. I didn't like that feeling.

“No. I have not put in for that sort of mission. I need to only do short missions that do not take me too far from Anvin on account of my son, Neton,” I said.

“I did. She left me for a soldier named Telon. She now lives with him; it is a complicated thing,” I said, not wanting to speak of it.

“Oh, I see. So you have a former wife and a child between you two,” she said.

“Yes, Neton spends the majority of his time living with his mother, and part of the time with me,” I said.

There was silence between us. We did not say anything. I could feel her tension. This was more than she had bargained for.

“Yes, I think that is a good idea. Please make sure that no one sees you leaving my place,” she said.

“I guess that I will be seeing you tomorrow then,” I said as I finished getting dressed.

“What? What do you mean? Look, Commander, this was a mistake. I do not want to do this again tomorrow. I never want to think of this again. Let's pretend like it did not happen and move on,” she said.

I stood in front of her fully dressed and ready to leave. I arched a brow at her.

“I was talking about treatment tomorrow. We are both scheduled for it,” I said.

“Oh, right. I forgot. The massage treatment. You are right. I will see you tomorrow then,” she said as her skin turned pink.

I walked toward the door, but before I walked out, I turned to her. “I agree with your statement, human female. This was a one-time thing. It cannot happen again. Let us pretend it did not happen and tell no one,” I said and then I opened the door a crack. I peeked out into the hallway; it was empty. Then I left.

I was distracted as I walked down the hall. It was still early in the evening before the dinner was served in the communal kitchens.

“Nykon?” I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around to see Keirin coming down the hallway.

“One of the human females was helping me with some Earth knowledge. What are you doing here? This is mostly inhabited by the human females, is it not?” she said pointing up and down the hallway.

“Yes, it is. I was helping a human female carry heavy items from the market. I am acquainted with her because she works in the treatment center. I am her patient of sorts,” I said lying.

She sort of narrowed her eyes at me. Keirin could always tell when I was lying. I could always tell when she was lying.

“That is none of your business. I do not need you giving her a hard time simply because I have befriended her. Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to attend to. I will be getting Neton tomorrow evening after training,” I said walking away.

I was scheduled to have Neton stay with me for two days. It was how we broke things up. When I was not on a mission and was staying in the village for long lengths of time, Neton would come stay with me.

I was looking forward to spending time with my son, but now I was on edge that Keirin had suspicions about me being in the human female area. Once she had her suspicions, she did not let it go. Even though she was the disloyal one. She was the disloyal type, and because of that, she assumed that everyone else was dishonest and hiding something.

I left that area of the mountain and moved back to the training grounds. I had a lot of work to do. But I didn't know that everything was about to change with news that had arrived from the Waysaw city.
