Bad Santa (Santa Land Book 1) by Kacey Hamford (19)

Eve

December 31st - New Years Eve

I had been wallowing in self pity for the last week. Ruby and I headed back to Santa Land and the place was already closed up. I had posted on the Santa Land Facebook page but my post was taken down immediately. I had run out of hope.

Ruby was lucky enough that she managed to snag a cancellation appointment at the hospital for yesterday and she was told that she was four weeks pregnant which made Comet her baby daddy.

“Do we really have to come?” I complained to Marcus as he picked me and Ruby up for a New Year's Eve party.

“Yes. You’ve both been miserable as hell for the last week. I don’t know what has gotten into you both.”

“Well, I haven’t been feeling too well. So, I’ll drive us all.”

“You not drinking?” Melody asked as she stood beside my brother with his arm wrapped around her.

“Nope.” She grabbed Marcus’s car keys off him and headed outside. Marcus, Melody and myself followed her down the stairs and leaning against Marcus’s car was Connor.

“Hey, man.” Marcus called out, giving him a fist bump.

“Ladies. You all look lovely tonight.” Connor complimented us as he held the back door open for us to climb in. Marcus had already jumped in the front seat as he was telling Ruby to be gentle with his car. Connor looked good dressed in dark denim jeans and a blue shirt, with all the buttons done up. I had opted for a black dress - to go with my non party mood, and my red Santa shoes. I left my wavy hair down and had minimal make-up on.

“So where is this party? Whose party is it?” I asked from the back seat. I was squished in between Melody and Connor.

“It’s one of the guys from the gym, Cody. He has this massive place with a pool, games room and cinema room.”

“Sounds good. If I get bored at least I can watch a movie,” I sighed.

“You won’t get bored. It’s a New Year's Eve party.” Connor laughed, bumping his shoulder into mine.

We had been at the party for an hour and I was bored. I was going to go and find the movie room. I turned on my heel and yelped as I bumped into someone spilling my drink.

“Oh, Connor I am so sorry.” I had managed to spill my whole Vodka and blackcurrant over his shirt.

“Don’t worry, I’m fine.”

“No, It’s blackcurrant. It’s gonna stain. We need to clean you up.” I grabbed his hand and began dragging him up the stairs. I was in a panic about ruining his shirt and his whole night.

“Eve, honestly. I’m fine. It’s not an expensive shirt,” he chuckled.

I pushed open a door to find an empty bathroom. I yanked him inside with me and locked the door.

“Quick, get your shirt off.” As he started unbuttoning his shirt, I plugged the sink and began running some warm soapy water into it.

“There you go.” He handed me the shirt and I looked up into the mirror to thank him. A gasp escaped my mouth and I flung his shirt in the sink as I took a step closer to him. I ran my hand over his chest and up his neck as I walked around him.

“Cupid,” I whispered. His eyes shot to mine in the mirror. I couldn’t believe that he was under my nose the entire time.

“Candy?” He asked as he spun around and dropped to his knees. He grabbed my right foot and inspected my ankle, where my holly and ivy tattoo was sitting.

“I can’t believe you’re here,” I sobbed. He jumped to his feet and cupped my face in his hands.

“I came back to the club after they chucked me out. I came back to find you. They wouldn’t give me any information.”

“Ruby and I also tried. The next day, she needed to find someone too.”

“Ruby is Angel?” He asked. I nodded my head. “I love you.” He smiled.

“I love you too.” He slammed his lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me off my feet. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he pushed his growing cock against my mound.

“You’re so gorgeous.”

“I need you.” I moaned as I kissed across his shoulders and down his chest. He spun us around and placed me on the side next to the sink. He yanked my panties down as he released himself from his jeans.

“I don’t have a condom.”

“We don’t need one.” He kissed me again as he pushed himself inside of me. This was him, Connor is my Cupid. We found each other, we were meant to be together.

“I’m not going to last,” he groaned.

“Me neither,” I panted. His movements sped up, as I was crying out his name, he shouted out mine. Connor and Eve, not Cupid and Candy.

“I love you, Eve. Will you be my girlfriend?”

“Yes, of course I will. I love you too, Connor.” I wrapped my hands back around his neck and he held me close.

“Let me clean you up, ok?” I nodded my head as I released him.

“What about your shirt?” I asked as I pulled the soggy mess out of the sink. My plan was to only wash the area I had ruined.

“Bin it, I’ll borrow one off Cody.” Once he had cleaned me up he helped me off the side and I slid my feet back into my heels that had fallen off as he slammed into me.

“Ruby is going to be so happy that I’ve found you.”

“Who was it that Ruby was looking for? Dasher?”

“No, Comet. It turns out she’s carrying a little Comet baby.” I smiled up at him as we walked out of the bathroom.

“Hey, Cody. You got a shirt I can borrow. My girl spilt her drink over mine.” He pulled me in close and kissed the top of my head.

“Sure.” He disappeared into a room and came back with a polo shirt. “Here you go man.”

“Thanks.” Connor grabbed my hand and we made our way back downstairs.

“So do you know who Comet is?” I asked as we re-joined the party.

“What’s all this?” Ruby asked as she came flying towards us.

“Ruby, this is Cupid.” I smiled.

“No fucking way,” she screamed.

“What’s all the screaming for? Dude, why are you holding Eve’s hand?”

“Marcus this is my girlfriend, also known as Candy.”

“You went to that Santa Land?” he growled at me.

“Dude, you’ve got bigger problems than that. Sorry Melody.” Why was he apologising to Melody? “Angel, meet Comet.”
