Big Dad D: A Bad Boy Standalone Romance by Vanessa Kinney (34)

7

Blake

One day.

That’s how long it takes me to forget about a girl. Her name is out of my mind. And I can barely remember what she looks like.

That’s all it takes for me to go on to the next girl. Never getting locked down on any of them. None of them meant anything before.

At least, that’s how it usually worked until Rose. I haven’t had much luck getting her out of my mind. It’s been well over a week since I last saw her and her name is still the first thing that pops into my head in the morning.

It’s driving me insane. I don’t know what to do about it. I don’t have anyone to talk about this shit with. I can’t tell Max because he’ll just make fun of me, — at least, that’s what I think. We’ve never been ones to share anything about ourselves.

Every day I go to the gym. Hoping that pumping enough weight will let me forget about her. But it doesn’t work that way.

Every time I step inside the locker room I think of her. It’s like I can smell her sweet fragrance. If I close my eyes I can see that surprised look on her face. And it gets me harder than I can handle.

Part of me hopes that I run into her. Or she falls into my lap. I need another chance with her.

This is new territory for me. Never in my life have I been this obsessed with a girl. The longest I can keep interest in someone is a week. All I’ve done is share a couple sentences with Rose, yet I can’t seem to get her out of my head.

That doesn’t seem to matter with Rose. Every time I close my eyes or do anything to distract myself, I always end up thinking of her. I’ve jerked off to her image more times than I can count. Sometimes, that’s enough to forget about a girl. To hold back the temptation.

Not with Rose.

Nothing about this girl is normal. I can’t get those sweet, light brown eyes of hers out of my head. That clueless smile as she looks at my cock before hiding behind those small hands of hers. I can almost feel her petite body in my hands.

And it’s driving me bonkers.

I press the elevator button, my eyes scanning the weight room behind me. I’ve got my backpack draped over my shoulder. Wearing the same clothes from that night, hoping that it will make me more recognizable to her.

I do one final scan of the room when the elevator bell dings. I let out a sigh of defeat and wait for the doors to open.

My mouth almost drops. If she were looking, she would see me grabbing it off the floor.

There she is in all her glory. Her hair is back in a bun and she’s wearing a simple black jacket with tight pencil skirt. That doesn’t matter to me. She could be wearing a trash bag and to me she’d be the most beautiful girl I’ve ever laid eyes on.

I can’t believe my dumb luck. How does the saying go? Things revel themselves when you least expect or something like that. Right now, I feel like the luckiest guy in the world.

She hasn’t noticed that it’s me yet. Her eyes are on her phone, texting someone. Someone named Frank Collins.

I want to take the phone and chuck it against the wall. I stop myself and shake my head.

What the fuck is wrong with me? I hardly know the girl and I’m getting jealous of her texting some guy.

This isn’t like me. I don’t get jealous of what another girl does. That’s how it usually works.

But not with Rose.

I get close to her, our shoulders brushing against each other. I lean over until my lips are inches away from her ear. She still hasn’t noticed yet. “Hey there, sweet cheeks?” I whisper.

Rose jumps into the air, the phone flying out of her hands. She reaches for it and it fumbles the catch. I reach out a hand and grab it as it slips through her fingers. I hold it to my side and Rose opens her mouth to say something, looks at me, and stops.

Her cheeks turn a rosy red and she turns her head to the side trying to cover it up. It’s the cutest shit that I’ve ever seen, but I won’t say it out loud. That’s not how I roll.

At this point, I don’t even know how I roll anymore. A week ago, the word cute wasn’t even in my damn vocabulary.

“Can you give me my phone?” She reaches for it, but I hold it above her head. Her hands fly up and nearly grab it from my hand. She’s quicker than she looks.

I hold back a laugh. She’s so adorable.

Adorable? Really?

“That’s all you have to say to me? I thought we had a moment back there in the locker room.” I tap the phone against my chin and think about her pressed against my body.

Rose stares at me and crosses her arms together. She leans to one side, letting her left knee jut out from underneath her skirt. The light from the elevator makeS her eyes shimmer. My cock quivers as she pouts in my direction.

“I don’t want anything to do with you. Now give me back my phone.” She jumps into the air again, her fingers touching the underside of the phone. Almost. Her body flies forward and hits mine.

For a split moment, I can feel her breasts against my chest. Her hands brace herself against my chest. They linger there for a moment too long. She runs them along my stomach, biting on her bottom lip.

“You obviously want nothing to do with me,” I laugh as her hands shoot away from me. She pulls herself away and gives me the nastiest look I’ve ever seen, but she still manages to make it look adorable.

“I don’t want anything to do with you,” she reiterates and moves away with me. I take a moment to take her in. The dress that hugs the side of her curves. She runs a hand behind her hair, letting it fall to her shoulders.

How I would love to grab onto that hair as I’m pounding her from behind. I might be crazy for this girl, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t fuck her until she can’t talk. The thought of ramming my cock between those thick legs is what’s been keeping me going.

I let out a strangled breath and fight an urge from deep inside me. My cock jolts against the inside of my thighs, telling me to go for it. Usually, I’m one to think with my dick, but something tells me that won’t work with Rose.

I need to fight the urge. The urge to press the emergency button and push her against the reflective doors. Her eyes looking at me as I hike the shirt over those sweet cheeks of hers. My fingers pulling down at her wet panties, feeling the warmth between her legs. I know that she wouldn’t fight me. Not with how she was looking at me and feeling me up.

The elevator dings and I can’t believe my fucking luck.

“I’m at my floor. Can you give me my phone?” She holds out her hand, not looking over at me. At least, trying and failing horribly. She gives me side way glances, her eyes falling down to my waistline every other glance.

“This is my floor,” I say and get off. I walk away from her and grab my keys out of my pocket.

“It is not. Don’t lie to me,” she blurts out and follows behind me. “Is this some trick so you know where I live?” She tilts her head to the side when I turn to look at her.

I take out my keys and dangle them in front of me. “No, this is my floor. And it doesn’t look like you’re going to get away from me anytime soon, sweet cheeks.” I walk to the back of the hall and unlock my door. Her eyes almost pop out as she watches the door open.

“This is your floor,” she says with realization. She walks over to me and leans against the door frame, her eyes trying to peek inside. “Can I have my phone now?”

“Sure thing, sweet cheeks.” I hold the phone out in front of me in my palm. She reaches for it and I close my hand over hers.

“Let go,” she yells, pulling away from my grip.

“I’ll let go if you give me a kiss,” I say. This is a Hail-Mary kind of play. The kind that can go bad really quick, but I can’t hold back anymore.  I need to take a risk. Something to get myself under control.

“Like hell I’m going to kiss you.” She looks at my lips, bites down on hers, and her cheeks flush. She’s a horrible liar.

I grab hold of the doorknob and inch inside my apartment, Rose fighting with me for her phone. “Is that your final answer?” I ask.

She gives up on fighting me and turns away from me, forgetting that I’m holding onto her hand. My arm curls around her and I pull her in, her back against my chest. Her plump ass moves against my waist. I shudder at the touch of her body.

She looks up at me, her lips out. “Fine,” she says and closes her eyes. Her mouth opens a little and her lips pucker together, waiting for me.

I lower myself and take in her smell. I hold myself there for a minute and let go of her hand. I close the door before she realizes what’s going on.

I watch her open her eyes through the peep-hole. She looks at the phone in her hand and back at the door with confusion. She runs a hand through her hair, bites down on those plump lips of hers, and lets out a sigh. She grips her phone a little harder and walks down the hallway. She opens the door at the opposite end of the hallway and steps inside, not before taking one last look at my door.

Always have to leave them wanting more.
