Enduring: Let No Man Put Asunder (Eternity Series Book 4) by Jennifer Rose (22)

Chapter Twenty-Two

~Nolan~

The next morning, after a night filled with new passion and no sleep, Bailey and I chose to share a soaker tub full of bubbles and two cups of morning coffee. As Bailey smoothed his hand down my chest with a smile, I fixed a wild lock of his hair on his forehead and noticed the shake in my hand.

“Can you believe I’m actually nervous?” I chuckled.

“If you’re that nervous, send him a text.” Bailey blew me a kiss. “And I noticed, I just didn’t want to say anything,” he pulled me closer and kissed me hard on the mouth. “It really doesn’t matter what he thinks though. We’re happy, that’s all that counts. Not where or when or who was there to see it, just that we are lucky enough to have found each other and committed ourselves to a life together. I don’t care if any of them aren’t happy, I am and you are. Now text Tag and then we can eat, I’m starving.”

Me: What ya doing?

Tag: Setting up for a shoot, what’s new?

Me: Got something to tell ya.

Tag: You’re pregnant? Lol

Me: Close

Tag: This is my confused face, spit it out.

Tag: What?

Me: Me and Bailey, in Vegas.

Tag: Get the fuck outta here!!!

Me: You pissed?

Tag: I should be... so you’re in Vegas?

Me: We’ll talk when we get home.

Tag: When is that?

Me: Saturday, see you then. But keep

your mouth shut.

“How did he take it?” Bailey asked.

“Couldn’t tell,” Bailey pushed the scowl from between my eyes with his finger. “Maybe I should have called, I hate cliffhangers.”

“Nolan, relax,” Bailey scolded, taking me in hand and stroking me to life. “Why don’t you sit on the edge of the tub and stop thinking for a while? Let me take your mind on a ride, baby.”

“Baby?” I slid from the water, brushing away a layer of suds from my torso as Bailey rose to his knees, the water threatening to splash over the lip of the tub. “You’ve never called me that before.”

“No?” he asked, slow and sultry. “Shut up, Doc, and close your eyes… and keep them closed.”

“Yes, sir,” I tittered, resting my back against the chilly tiles.

“I like that, say it again.” Bailey stroked me a little faster, tightening his grasp with a beautiful grin on his face.

“Yes, sir,” I let out a sigh and closed my eyes. “Shutting up, eyes clooohhh my God!”

Bailey’s mouth closed over the bulbous head of my cock and his tongue swept in a circle around the ridge as he slowly stroked his hand up and down. My hand reached out, my fingers grooming his hair as his head bobbed up and down. Bailey knew just the thing to rid my mind of all thought. He took my breath away as all his focus was on pleasing me. What had I done in my life to deserve a man like Bailey?

Grasping hold of my thighs, Bailey sucked me hard for several long minutes sliding up and down as I took hold of my shaft and squeezed, he had me so close my control was faltering. I took his chin and lifted him away.

“Baby?”

“I want to be inside you when I cum, Kitten,” I was on the verge of begging, I needed him that badly. “Pull the plug.”

Once out of the tub, water dripping onto the ultra-shiny tile floor, I carefully lifted Bailey, his legs circled my waist and I walked us to the vanity and set him down. His lips parted, a clear indication he was about to speak and my mouth sealed over his, robbing his words before they broke the silence. My hand went in search of supplies, dipping into a shaving kit, not sure if it was mine or Bailey’s. Bailey’s fingers circled my wrist and pulled my hand away.

“Doc, it’s time,” Bailey held a condom between two fingers and whipped it across the room like a shuriken star, only the condom bounced off the towel rack instead of dramatically stabbing into the drywall. We laughed and Bailey handed me a pouch of travel lube. “Are you ready?”

I could only nod as I took the pouch and dramatically tore it open with my teeth. Bailey laughed at my attempt at brooding but grew serious once I pushed him back and positioned one leg over my shoulder and his stump in the crook of my arm. Open to me, I drizzled lube over my cock while he watched and situated the purple swollen head of my dick at his puckered hole.

We hadn’t discussed the use of condoms, it was a given. Gay men used condoms, end of. I had never considered going bareback, but obviously Bailey had, and the way he was looking at me now told me this was what he wanted. Without a doubt, we were committed to one another, there would be no one else for either of us. Yeah, it was time.

“The question is, are you ready?”

Trailing my cock along the crack of Bailey’s ass, he grinned allowing his head to drop back as I pressed into him, holding my breath. The feeling was exquisite, the internal heat far more pleasurable than I had ever imagined, the man was in inferno. His body engulfed me, the molten warmth spreading over my dick causing a moan to echo in the room so load it shocked me.

“Ohhh, Kitten, you feel so good.”

I latched onto both hips and buried myself balls deep watching as Bailey’s jaw dropped open and his armed reached out to me. With his arms wrapped around my neck, kissing me with deep seeded passion, I slowed my pace, enjoying the new sensation of being inside the man I loved so dearly. There was no way I was going to last, bareback with Bailey was incredible, my hand searched between us and clasped around Bailey’s thick cock sticky with pre-cum. As I stroked Bailey he hummed, a delicious sound I would crave for all eternity.

“Kitten, I need you to cum,” the sound of my voice rested on the edge of urgency. “I need you to cum now!”

“Move faster, baby, give me all you got!” Bailey cried, the rasp in his voice so sexy sweet, I feared I would blow my load before he had a chance. “Oh yeah. Just like that. Faster, faster.”

Slamming into Bailey, his chin tucked into his chest, his mouth gaping as he expressed his pleasure with sweet low moans, I stroked him faster focusing solely on his enjoyment. Bailey let out a tortured cry and his entire body shuddered as a white milky puddle formed on his stomach and his head fell back, colliding with the mirror.

He was gorgeous, his face glistening with pearls of perspiration, his cheeks red and his lips swollen from passionate kisses. I loved my husband more than taking my next breath, more than life itself. Bailey was my world, my everything. Meeting him was my fate, becoming his friend was my choice, but falling in love with him was beyond my control.

Swirling my thumb through Bailey’s release, I held it out offering it to Bailey who gave me an impish smile and sucked my thumb into his mouth, his tongue enveloping the tip as he groaned. That was my undoing, a few more thrusts and I was done. My seed filled his ass, the silky hot feel of Bailey’s core and his lips wrapped around my thumb teasing and sucking stole my breath away with such an amazing sensation, like nothing before.

“Fuck, I love you,” I leaned in for a kiss.

“Love you back,” Bailey swept his knuckles over my cheek with a wink.

The sun was on the cusp of setting when we walked outside and were greeted by a yard full of family and friends. The backyard had been transformed into something I could only describe as a party supply warehouse explosion. Decorated with an insurmountable amount of string lights and balloons, with a shit ton of food for guests in a large tent and a team of caterers and a bartender to boot. Our parents, Tag, Fletcher, Sierra, Jeff, and everyone else that we loved stood with smiles pasted to their faces and started to applaud.

“What’s this?” I suddenly felt tongue tied.

“Don’t you have something to tell us?” my father asked, it was good to see him and mom, it had been too long.

“Bailey and I… well we… that is-”

“We eloped,” Bailey held up his hand and wiggled his ring finger, then held up mine. “Last weekend in Las Vegas we got married.”

“Congratulations,” Bailey’s father stepped forward and gave him a hug, his mom following suit.

Some of our guests cheered followed by more applause and, of course, the mom’s cried together while the dad’s grinned happily. Obviously, they were relieved that their bank accounts hadn’t taken a shit kicking. All in all, everyone seemed pleased for us. Well, that was everyone except for Tag.

“Hate me?”

“Yup,” Tag had quite the pout on.

“Not even a little happy for me?”

“Nope,” Tag lit a cigarette and blew out a large cloud of smoke.

“I thought you quit smoking?”

“Not your business,” Tag snorted. “I can be as secretive as certain people I know who run off and get hitched without a bye you’re leaving… I didn’t even get to be best man.”

“Oh, that’s what this is about,” I reached for two glasses offered by a server dressed in a black pencil skirt and white blouse that looked like they had been painted on. “What can I say, I’m a selfish bastard. I couldn’t wait to make Bailey all mine. Just the idea of losing him-”

“Don’t even go there,” Tag scowled, flicking the ashes from the end of his cigarette. “Bailey loves you.”

I took the cigarette from between Tag’s lips and put it to my own and took a long drag, holding it for a few seconds before blowing it out. It had been ages since I had a cigarette. In fact, since meeting Bailey, I couldn’t remember the last time I had one. I dropped it to the ground and stomped it out.

“Hey!” Tag protested.

“We quit, remember?”

Tag rolled his eyes as Bailey came over and wrapped his arms around my middle, resting his head on my shoulder

“So, was it a nice wedding?”

“It was perfect,” I could feel my face glowing as I reminisced, filling Tag in on all the details. “Don’t be angry, okay?”

“I’ll get over it,” Tag assured me. “But you, my friend, will pay, our wedding is only weeks away and as best man, your duties are plentiful.”

“Great.”

We followed Tag over to the buffet table.

“By the way, who’s the kid hanging out with Jeff and Sierra?”

“That’s Devan.”

“Did you adopt him and forget to tell me that too?” Tag snarled, piling his plate with coconut shrimp. “Harley and Dyson can give you parenting tips.”

“Ha ha,” I couldn’t explain much without breaking doctor patient confidentiality. “Devan and his friend Olivia moved into Bailey’s apartment when Bailey moved in with me. He’s a really nice kid. I’m surprised you haven’t met him yet, he works for Fletcher.”

“That’s him?” Tag looked at Devan with a discerning eye. “Heard about him, haven’t had the pleasure though. Planning a wedding seems to take up all our time. The only time I see Fletch is when he falls into bed and by then we’re too tired to do much more than sleep.”

“TMI, my friend,” I held up a hand and looked away, feigning disgust and we laughed. I felt much better knowing Tag wasn’t going to mope about our eloping for too long. “Did you do all this just for me?”

My hand swept out over the yard of guests.

“Oh yeah, just for you,” Tag snipped, rolling his eyes. “I knew if you came back and told all these people that you fucked off and got married, without copious amounts of alcohol and outstanding catered food, they’d tear you from limb to limb. You should have heard your mom when I told her. We let her help plan the food, it was the only way to stop the crying.”

“Aww, you love me,” I pinched his cheek before kissing it.

“Don’t push it, Numb Nuts,” Tag grabbed me around the neck and roughed up my hair as I struggled to get free by poking him in the ribs. “You managed to get out of planning your own wedding, but you won’t talk your way out of planning mine.”

“How does City Hall and a nice dinner at your favorite pizza joint sound?”

“Now there’s a romantic thought, I do’s and marinara sauce,” Bailey joked, weaving his fingers with mine, wrapping a hand around my bicep. “Do you mind if I steal my hubby for a dance?”

“Go for it,” Tag released me with a smile then fingered my hair, setting it back in place. “I should find Fletcher and do the same.”

Under a blanket of lights strung across the yard closely resembling a sky full of stars, Bailey wrapped his arms over my shoulders and my arms closed around his waist, pulling him tight to my chest. Our hips began to sway as guests joined us on the makeshift dance floor. The song playing was At Last by Etta James, an old song that somehow suited our kind of love and blended us perfectly as one.

“I found a dream, that I can speak to,” Bailey whispered the song’s lyrics into my ear, our cheeks melded together. “A dream I can call my own.”

“You smile,” I returned the words that said everything I felt. “And then the spell was cast, and here we are in heaven, for you are mine at last.”

I kissed Bailey passionately, deeply and completely… at last.
