Jion (A Sci Fi Alien Abduction Romance) (Aliens Of Xeion) by Maia Starr (4)

Chapter Four

Ambassador Jion Lek

I watched Lauren walk away willingly with the cyborg. I watched until she was out of sight. I looked at the five cyborgs around me.

“What are you going to do with me? I know that you are not going to just leave me be the way your leader said that you would,” I said to them.

“The Kynon are scum, but this one is not stupid. You are right, blue creature; we are not going to just leave you without a proper goodbye,” he said.

They all laughed with each other. I knew of cyborgs and had come across them from time to time, but I had never come across ones that looked like these. I needed to know more. But what good would information do me if I was dead?

“And you, Himant cyborg, will serve your leader well by doing his dirty work,” I said.

“We are not Himant cyborg; we are the Vindon of X003. How dare you confuse us with the low Himant!” the cyborg said, giving me the information that I needed.

I turned to realize that I could no longer see Lauren. I should have left with her long ago instead of staying with the wreckage. But how was I to know that there were Vindon cyborgs around? He had easily tricked and deceived her, and it didn't help that I had kissed her as though I was about to mate with her; to be honest I wanted to. I was hoping to. At that moment, I couldn't help myself; I'd lost myself in feeling her. Trying to keep her warm in the desert night made me feel good. I wanted to keep her safe, and now that urge was bigger than it was before. Within a short amount of time, I had fallen for the human female, and now she had willingly left my side. But how did the cyborgs know the names of the human females? Perhaps they did have females in the village, but I doubted that they were there willingly. I hoped that I could get out of this and get Lauren back away from these savage cyborgs.

“And what is to happen now?” I asked, looking up at the cyborgs as I sat in the sand.

One pulled a gun and aimed it at me. So this was to be the end?

“No, the human female will hear, and then K4T will not be pleased with us,” one cyborg said.

He took the gun that he aimed at me and turned it backward. He hit me on the head with the butt of the gun. I felt hot blood booze down my face. It was a very hard blow, and I suddenly felt very foggy, and my vision got blurry. Then I fell backward, knocked out. They had left me to bleed to death in the desert alone.

I don't know how long I was out. Then I heard a voice trying to wake me. I felt a push on my body. Then another one, and another one.

“Ambassador Jion Lek, wake up. You are safe, Ambassador Jion Lek,” the voice said over and over.

I opened my eyes. A bright white light was hovering above me. It looked familiar. I blinked my eyes trying to get focused. Finally, my vision came back to me. There was a Kynon medical attendant standing over me.

“Where am I? What happened?” I asked as I raised my hand to my head and felt a bandage around it. I had not imagined the blow that the cyborgs gave me.

“You are on a Kynon ship. We found you in the desert of X003. You are safe now; we are going to take care of you,” he said.

“Ship? Whose ship am I on? Are we still on X003?” I asked hoping that the answer was yes. I did not want to be in space traveling back to Xeion; I needed to get Lauren. I needed to rescue her. I had to save her from the cyborgs.

“Lieutenant Vnor Gin is in charge of this ship. We are still on the planet X003.  You have been with us for a couple of hours. We are on the way to meet up with the ship of Captain Alicron Qinov.”

“They are alive? They are all alive? That is good to know. I need to speak with Lieutenant Vnor Gin immediately,” I said sitting up.

“I will send for him; he is on the bridge of the ship. Take it easy. You should be healed in twenty-four hours, but you need to rest until then or the wound will open,” the attendant said and then walked away to the panel on the wall. He pushed the button.

“Let Lieutenant Vnor Gin know that the patient is awake and wishes to speak with him,” he said.

“Confirming message. Will contact Lieutenant Vnor Gin,” the response came.

I was so confused. How had they already gotten a ship here? Not just one but two? It seemed that Lieutenant Vnor Gin had a ship, and so did Captain Alicron Qinov. I wondered how long I had been in the desert before they found me. How long had Lauren been with the cyborgs? A few hours? A couple of days? I wouldn't know. I needed answers, and Lieutenant Vnor Gin was going to get them to me.

After waiting about twenty minutes, Lieutenant Vnor Gin finally came into the infirmary.

“There you are Ambassador Jion Lek; I am glad to see you awake. You lost a lot of blood; we didn't know if you were going to make it. But they tell me you will be fine,” Lieutenant Vnor Gin said as he shook my arm in greeting.

“It is good to see you, Lieutenant Vnor Gin. I lost a lot of blood? How long do you think I was unconscious before you found me?” I asked.

“I don't know. I have questions for you too. When we saw you, we thought the blow was from the crash, but then we saw that you were tied to the ship wreckage. Care to explain that?” he asked.

“I came across a band of unfriendly cyborgs.”

“Oh yes, the Vindon. I am familiar with them, and so is Captain Alicron Qinov. Not very friendly,” he said.

“No, they are not. They tied me to the ship and knocked me out. It happened on the second night after crashing. But I don't know how long I was out after the crash; it could have been an entire day or two. I have no concept of how much time has passed since the crash. How is it that you have a ship? Where are we going?” I asked.

“It is a very long story, one that I will have to tell you later. Right now we are on the mission: the mission to find the crew and the human females. Now that we have found you, we are only missing Elonu Fiul. but there are many human females out there that we need to find,” he said.

“About that, there was one that was with me. The Cyborgs found us, and she went with them,” I said.

“You mean they took her from you?”

“No, she willingly went with them. I have to find her and get her back,” I said.

Lieutenant Vnor Gin gave me a strange look. He was silent for some time. “We are about twenty minutes away from meeting up with Captain Alicron Qinov. He will know what to do,” Lieutenant Vnor Gin said.

“But I don't know how long they have had her or where they took her. The longer I wait to find her—”

“You need twenty-four hours to heal anyway. You go out there you will just bleed out again. Trust me; Captain Alicron Qinov will know what to do,” he said.

“But—”

“No, lie down and get some rest. The longer you rest, the faster you will heal. As soon as we meet up with Captain Alicron Qinov, we will have a meeting. Rest: that is an order,” he said. Then he turned and walked out.

I didn't want to rest. I wanted to get in a speeder ship and find Lauren. I wanted to find out what we knew about the Vindon. It seemed that Lieutenant Vnor Gin new a lot and something must have happened for them to have ships. He left all of that information out. I was the ambassador, after all; I was supposed to handle foreign relations, and the Vindon were definitely foreign relations.

Half an hour later, I sat in the infirmary with Lieutenant Vnor Gin and Captain Alicron Qinov. I had to admit it was good to see both of them again.

“We have a few females that we have saved from the Vindon,” Captain Alicron Qinov said.

“And where are they?” I asked.

“We could not risk that the Vindon would get ahold of them again. The Vindon are hungry for the human females now that they know what they are and know that there are some on the planet out there needing help. So we put the ones that we have on the mothership, and it is in space hovering above the planet. We have dispatched a fleet to search the planet for the others, including Elonu Fiul. That is how we found you,” Captain Alicron Qinov said.

“Good, that is good to know. I don't know if Lieutenant Vnor Gin told you but there was a human female with me; she went by the name Lauren.” I said.

“And where is she?” Captain Alicron Qinov asked.

“We were camping in the wreckage that Lieutenant Vnor Gin found me in. Vindon found us and tricked her,” I said.

His brow furrowed. “What do you mean tricked her?”

“They tricked her into going with them. She left with them,” I said.

“What? No human female would do that. The human females are scared of the Vindon,” Captain Alicron Qinov said.

“They are scared of us; we took them from their home planet. At least this Lauren was frightened. The Vindon told her that I was the enemy and that they would help her reunite with human females,” I said.

“And what did you do to this human female to make her fear you so much, Ambassador Jion Lek?” Captain Alicron Qinov asked.

“Nothing, she was simply scared because I am an alien that took her from Earth,” I said getting angry. Captain Alicron Qinov and I were never on the same page.

“Where did they take her?” Lieutenant Vnor Gin asked.

“I do not know. I only know that the cyborg said that he was taking her to human females named Vicky and Nancy, so wherever those females are is where he was taking her. We must go after her. I have to rescue her,” I said getting anxious.

The two looked at each other in surprise.

“Vicki and Nancy are on the Mothership,” Lieutenant Vnor Gin said to Captain Alicron Qinov.

“Yes, that is true now. But it wasn't a few days ago. They were captured by K8L and his Cyborgs. He had them at a base that I took them from. Maybe this Vindon was taking Lauren to C2?” Captain Alicron Qinov said.

“Yes, C2, where is that? We must go now,” I said anxiously.

“No,” Captain Alicron Qinov said.

“What do you mean no? We have to rescue her. We have to get human females from this planet and take them back to our own,” I said completely frustrated by his answer.

“You said this female willingly went with them. She wants to be with the Vindon. If we go rescue her and she puts up a big fight and alerts the Vindon to our presence, then it will be a big battle. I think we can do without one human female. We need to concentrate on the others that are out there. We need to continue to search the planet, and we can't do that if we invade the Vindon city and start a battle and need all our forces there; that is not worth one human female. We will continue doing what we are doing, and that is it.” Captain Alicron Qinov said and then turned and walked out. Lieutenant Vnor Gin gave me a look. He knew what I was thinking.

Captain Alicron Qinov always wanted his way. He was going to let Lauren be left with the Vindon. Now I knew for sure that there were no human females with the Vindon, at least not the ones that he said were with them. Lauren would soon find that out if she hadn't already. She would be scared once she realized the Vindon had lied to her. I had to get to her. I had to rescue her. I wanted her now more than ever, and it looked like it was going to be up to me to do it on my own.
