Cocky Heart Surgeon: Caden Cocker (Cocker Brothers®, The Cocky® Series Book 18) by Faleena Hopkins (31)

Chapter 41

ELIZABETH

After a night of sex and conversations, I wake up with his warm, lax body spooning me, sleepy breath blowing against the nook of my shoulder.

Inhaling happiness I smile at the hotel room we made messy, a sliver of light penetrating heavy curtains designed for sleeping in, which we appreciated.

Hotels fascinate me. They think of all the practical things a human being might need, and put it all in one room, plus bathroom. And then they clean up after you. Perfection.

“Morning,” he greets me, voice scratchy and length hardening against my backside.

Snuggling into all of his muscles, I reply, “Morning, Caden.”

With desire he rasps, “Mmm,” nibbling my ear and licking it once. “What do you want to do today?”

He just made my nipples erect, heat pooling below as he slides his erection between my thighs. I reach back, breast stretching toward the ceiling as I slip my fingers into his soft hair and gently caress his scalp with my nails.

Rising slightly to reach my mouth and kiss me, his length becomes slippery, my arousal wetting it with each stroke that almost enters me. He slides just the tip in and pulls back out, rubbing between my thighs and against the outside of my pussy.

I moan, “More.”

“Not yet,” he groans, locking onto my mouth and licking my tongue. I squeeze my thighs tighter and he breaks from the kiss to suck in air between his teeth. “Do that again.”

I arch my ass in invitation. “My pussy’s tighter than that, Cocker.”

He groans with need and pushes in more than the tip this time. But just a little bit more. A tease before he pulls back out.

“Noooooo,” I moan, arching harder.

“Greedy girl. Can never get enough.” Firm fingers ride the slopes of my ribcage, down my stomach, circling my belly button before traveling lower.

My breath hitches as they slip over my mound. He slides them around his cock’s tip that’s poking through and uses the bulbous head to rub my clit.

Silken, slippery skin along with the pressure of his fingers, slides on my aching little bean. I can’t take it. I start to pant. Heat bursts inside my core, a shockwave of pulses pouring out of me.

“That’s mine, all mine.” His cock dives in perfectly when I need it. I cry out, high-pitched with pleasure. “You like that? You want me to fuck you again? Aren’t you sore, Myers? Aren’t you in pain? You need this now or later?”

“Now!”

The soreness abates every time under the breath of arousal, anyway. If I didn’t want him so much I wouldn’t be able to handle this. He worked me up, turned me on. My body aches for his. And sure, he’s aesthetically pleasing. But that was not what drew me to Caden, and that’s not what lasts.

It was his mind.

His thoughtfulness.

The things that make him uniquely him, I want them all when I want him.

The dirty talking doesn’t hurt.

His breath is hot in my ear, “Your pussy is so tight, it’s gripping my cock. Feel that?” I moan and nod as I respond in kind to everything he gives, moving in time with his hips, arching my back, inner walls expanding and allowing him access to the deepest part of my body.

“I don’t know if you’re wet because you want it, or it’s just me dripping out from last time because you are drenched, woman.”

I moan, shameless, “It’s everything!”

Sex. It’s a bonding agent. That’s why it hurts so much when it’s done with someone other than who we really want. And why we must keep the connection with who we love, alive.

Love?

Did I just think the word?

No.

I couldn’t have.

“You okay?” Caden asks, feeling me slow down, him following my lead.

Frowning I nod, staring at the sliver of light.

He pulls out, rolls me on my back and lies on top of me. “What’s up?”

“Just thinking.”

“About leaving? I was worried about that, too. But we have today so let’s enjoy it. I have the day off.”

“I know. We talked about it over room service last night.”

Caden traces my face with gentle knuckles, watching their path. “You’re thinking what I am.”

I frown at him. “What are you thinking?”

“That it’ll suck again, being in two different states.”

“That’s pretty much it.”

Almond eyes travel around my features, his gaze beautiful. “Elizabeth…this has meant more to me than I’d normally admit. If you want to continue something long-distance, I’d want that.”

“Really?” I whisper, chest twisting.

He kisses my nose. “Yeah. Really.”

“Okay.”

A smile flashes from Caden at how quickly I answered, and his fingers gently open my legs a little more. I slip my fingers into his hair and return his smile. We begin to make love, moving slowly, him hooking one of my legs over his shoulder. We’re staring at each other except when the pleasure heightens to the point where we don’t need our eyes to see anything but light.
