Royal Baby Double Trouble: A Two Princes MFM Menage Romance by Sierra Sparks, Sizzling Hot Reads (21)

The next morning I got a call from Caroline for a meeting with her and Bob.  I had to look my best, so I got up an extra hour early to do my makeup and hair.  I was so full of energy (and other things!) from last night, it was easy.  I had a coffee, but I didn’t really need it.

When I finished my hair and makeup, I was impressed with myself.  I had learned a lot over the years from makeup artists.  They could probably still do a better job than me, but I was pretty close.  I looked hot.  I put on one of those silky little designer sundresses the princes had bought me.

“My God,” said Dominique, his jaw dropping to the floor.

“Savannah, dear,” said Byron approaching.

“Uh-uh,” I said, immediately gesturing for them to stop.  “I have to meet with some producers.  I need to look perfect, so please, no touching.  Do I look good?”

“Please go,” said Dominique, averting his eyes.  “If you stay much longer, I will be tempted to ravage you.”

“He’s not wrong,” agreed Byron.

“I’ll see you guys after the meeting,” I smiled.

I didn’t just walk downstairs to the meeting, I strutted.  Suddenly, I was more confident in who I was than ever before.  Nothing was bothering me and I had a clear head.  I was ready for this meeting.  Normally, I’d be so nervous with two big producers like this, but I just wasn’t.  I was on it, baby!

I met Bob and Caroline at the resorts café.
“Bob, Caroline,” I greeted.

They both stood.  Bob look like he’d been hit in the chest by a hammer.

“Great to see you, Savannah,” said Coraline giving me a near-kiss.

“I am---  Wow,” said Bob.  “I didn’t think it was possible, but you look even better in person than you do on the screen.”

Bob seemed a little nervous around me, like a schoolboy meeting his crush.

“Easy you,” warned Caroline semi-jokingly.

“Thank you, Bob,” I said smiling and looking him right in the eye.

“Would you like a drink or something to eat?” offered Caroline.

The waiter came over, almost on cue.

“Just bring me some fresh juice.  Whatever you have,” I requested.

Bob and Caroline ordered some fruity, touristy drinks.  The kind you only have when you’re on vacation.

“I’ll get right to the pitch,” said Caroline.  “We want you to play the lead in a new project we’re calling, Eyes of the Heart.  You will be playing an incredibly seductive woman.”

“You lure a husband away from his wife,” explained Bob.  “It’s sexy, passionate and romantic---  Very classy though.  We think you’d be perfect.”

“Aw, thanks Bob,” I said touching his hand.  “Who will I be seducing?”

This last part I said in my most sultry, seductive voice.  Bob hesitated for a second, then started laughing.

“Oh, my God,” he laughed.  “Yes!  That’s exactly what we’re going for.  Oh, my!”

“I’d better wrap this meeting up and get him back to his wife,” joked Caroline.  “But you get it, it’s going to be a classic.  We’ve got Kirk Mathers slated to direct, although it hasn’t been announced yet.  You know, Kirk, right?”

“I know his movies, of course,” I said.  “I’ve never met him personally, but I love his work.  Did he request me too?”

“Yes,” said Coraline.  “He saw you in that TV thing---  What was it?  Five years ago?  With the guy from the Avengers?”

“He saw Nighttime in Bedford?” I said impressed.  “I was only in that movie for one scene.”

“Yes, but he loves that scene and your performance in it,” she explained.

“It’s just the kind of take he wants on this seductress character,” added Bob.  “Sexy, but relatable.  At first the audience is against you, but it comes around at the end and you turn out to be the hero of the whole thing.”

“I break up a marriage, but the audience wants me to win?” I asked.  “Seems a stretch.  Not that it matters either way, but it sounds very interesting.”

“That’s what we said,” said Bob.  “I only got half way through the script and I put it aside.  Coraline read the whole thing and calls me up and says, did you read it?  I’m like yeah, half of it.  She tells me to read to the end and the very next page, everything changes.  It’s a pretty mind blowing ending.”

“When can I get a copy of the script?” I asked.

“When can we get you to sign a contract?” added Coraline.

“If it’s half as good as you say, just send the script and the contract straight to my agent,” I said.  “I’m juggling a few things with the baby and this other movie, but I’ll get to it.”

“Oh, of course,” said Bob.  “Production wouldn’t start until maybe a year or two down the road.  We’ve greenlit the process, we’re just getting all the players in place.”

“Well, I’m glad my recent tabloid stint didn’t turn you guys away,” I said.  “You know how these paparazzi are.”

“Oh, yeah,” sympathized Bob.  “I’ve had TMZ bang down my door a couple of times, if you can believe it.”

“One time that happened, Bob,” corrected Coraline.

“It still happened,” he assured.  “I did a cameo in that flick---  Make All the Money.”

“Oh, yeah,” I said remembering.  “That did well.  People enjoyed that scene, I think.”

“I just love being on the set,” said Bob.  “If I could move my office right behind the cameras in Sound Stage 6 on the lot---  I totally would.  Right, Cor?”

“Oh, yeah, I could just see you yelling on the phone in the background of every scene,” laughed Coraline.

“Hey, I only yell at people who spend too much money,” he said.  “Which is basically every director we ever hired, right?”

“Don’t let him fool you, Savannah,” said Coraline.  “This guy babies these directors.  I’m the one that has to yell at him.”

“Oh, stop,” laughed Bob.  “Well, listen, Savannah, thanks so much for taking time out on your vacation.  I know that was a lot to ask, but we couldn’t turn down this opportunity to talk to you in person while things were coming together.”

“No, it’s fine,” I assured them.  “Believe me, I’m having a little too much fun with my friends.”

“Please tell your prince friend he has one hell of an island,” said Bob.

“Yes, I just love it here,” added Coraline.  “Well be in touch soon.”

“Great meeting guys.  Thanks!” I said.

When I turned the corner away from the producers, I did a little dance.  That meeting could not have gone any better!  Half the battle in Hollywood is getting them to like you and they seemed to love me.  Maybe it was this new found confidence I had.  I suddenly felt like I could take on the world!

My phone rang.  It was Naomi.

“Hey, girl,” I greeted.

“Savannah?  Oh, my God, I’ve been trying to reach you!” she said excited.

“Yeah, I’m sorry,” I said.  “I’ve been ducking everyone.  The whole thing with the tabloids was---  Well, now I’m feeling better.”

“But you’re okay, right?  I mean, you’re safe?”
“Yeah, of course I am.  Why?”

“Well, I went over to your place and then your neighbors said you got rushed out of there by some guys in a dark car.  I thought maybe you got kidnapped!”

“No-no!” I laughed.  “Nothing like that.”

“Are you really dating that prince?  My God, he’s so handsome!”

“It’s complicated,” I said.  “That’s why I’m away.  We’re kind of sorting those things out.”
“I feel ya,” she said.  “Will you call me back when you’re home so we can catch up?”

“Yes, of course,” I promised.  “Again, I am so sorry I didn’t call you.”

“It’s fine, it’s fine,” she said.  “I’m just glad you’re safe girl.  Say hi to the prince for me.”

I hung up.  For a split second, I wondered if it was Naomi that spilled to the tabloids.  Then I thought, that couldn’t be the case.  Naomi would never betray me like that.  No, whoever it was didn’t matter.  Soon we’d have the test results back and---  Hmm, perhaps I should talk to the princes.

Stopping half way back to our rooms, I wondered what to do.  If one was the father, would the other one simply bow out?  And did I want that?  The three of us were so good together.  We had so much fun!  Why couldn’t it always be the three of us?  Sure, the tabloids would gossip, but who cares.  I’d never been so happy in my life.  Maybe now it was time to talk about it.

I headed back to the rooms with a new sense of purpose.  There had to be a way for us to make this work.  Why should we let society dictate our happiness?
