That Night In The Bahamas (BWWM Romance Book 1) by Kimmy Love (1)

Chapter1

Dee looked at the crisp blue water slowly coming towards the beach in front of her. It was her last day in the Bahamas, so she didn’t want to waste a second soaking up all the experience that was left. In one hand she held her purse and shoes, the other she carried the scarf that she had wrapped around her wide hips. She was wearing a pink high-waisted bikini, just enough to show off her amazing body while hiding the extra skin around her stomach. She let her natural curly hair blow in the wind, sunglasses being the only other accessory left. She felt the warm sand push its way through her toes as she walked along the beach, swerving in and out towards the edge of the water. Her warm mahogany skin was dotted with beads of sweat as the sun illuminated her light brown eyes.

She and her friends had worked hard to save up some money to take a trip to the Bahamas together. They got a great package deal for airfare and hotel, so they just had to save their tips and bonuses to make enough to buy food and souvenirs for their families. The rest of the girls that Dee had traveled with were interested in partying all night and sleeping on the beach all day, but Dee was more interested in exploring the islands. She wanted to take home memories. Although she certainly enjoyed her drink occasionally, she didn’t want to take home a hangover. While her friends slept on the main beach, she decided to go looking for a different adventure. She wanted to see everything that the island had to offer.

Dee wandered to a different part of the beach, the sand getting cleaner and the water getting harsher. There weren’t bits of leftover food or wrappers like some had left on the regular beach. The Bahamas were stunning, but the tourists that came along tainted some of the island’s natural beauty. She started walking on a lower part of the beach, high rocks casting a shadow over her path. The sand was getting colder, a relief for her feet. She considered putting her sandals back on, but the cooler area beneath her feet was all she needed. She hadn’t seen another person for half a mile now and started to wonder if she had been entering private property. She wasn’t too concerned. Dee had dealt with a lot worse than some angry beach owners.

She no longer heard the buzz of the beach, a quiet she was getting excited for. She didn’t want to complain about her time on the beach one bit, but she was certainly looking forward to spending a little time away from the rest of the crowd. She wasn’t expecting there to be as many people on vacation as there were as they had waited a week after spring break to venture south. Other people probably had the same idea, meaning crowded resorts, restaurants, and beaches. A crab crawled across the sand, Dee remembering that in a place so full of life and color, she would never truly be alone.

This was her first time traveling to a warm destination. Her mom didn’t have much money for trips as a child, and if she did have a little extra spending money, it wouldn’t be on a vacation for her kids. Dee worked for about a year to save for the trip along with a few coworkers and a couple of friends. She knew it would probably be the last vacation she’d have for a while as well.

It wasn’t often Dee was able to see such a colorful and lively sight. The trees and bushes burst green vibrancy throughout the stark white beaches. She had never seen water so blue in her life. The water back in Michigan wasn’t the greatest, so Dee was enjoying the crystal-clear liquid. The sun was so hot on her skin she didn’t realize that it could burn so hard. Even though she had dark skin, it was still sore after a day out in the sun. It was doing wonders for her skin, however. She didn’t have a blemish on her body, and a few freckles appeared on the lights of her cheeks and across her deep rosy lips. The salty breeze breathed life into her bouncy curls, the sun bleaching a few and creating golden strands dotted throughout.

Dee walked towards the edge of the water, the warm waves gently crawling over her feet and towards her knees. Her scarf had gotten a little wet, but Dee didn’t mind. She loved feeling so connected to nature. It was rare she could have such an intimate moment with the Earth. It was a feeling Dee desired. That wasn’t always accessible in a broken-down city like Detroit.

She loved traveling, but there were certainly plenty of things that made it difficult for her to indulge. She could barely afford to feed herself, so having the money to go out was a rarity. She saved birthday money, Christmas presents, and ate the cheapest meals possible for months to get this experience. She was enjoying every second, but part of her still felt sad knowing that it wouldn’t always last.

Back home she thought of her family, a source of happiness as well as a dismal reminder of the depression that awaited. She loved her big family more than anything, and nothing brought her more joy than when they could all spend time together. Still, barely being able to provide for herself made her feel guilty that she wasn’t doing enough for her family. She just wanted to take care of everyone back home, but there was plenty getting in the way of that. They certainly had their own lives, but part of Dee felt bad, wondering if she could be doing more.

She had traveled a bit further from the public beach, but she was getting a higher view of the water. At first, the beach dipped a bit, but Dee found a rocky hill that she could climb to a grassy cliff. Wildflowers dotted the border, bursting more color onto Dee’s already enigmatic mood. She looked back, barely being able to see the public beach anymore. She knew her friends wouldn’t worry too much about her, as they would likely wait until sunset to return to the hotel and prepare for a night out. Dee kept walking just a little further, now overlooking the blue water below. She was at the highest point she could see, and behind her were trees. The islands weren’t that hilly, but she had found the perfect spot to get a stunning view of the water.

Never in her life had she seen such a beautiful sight. Of course, there were certain moments that took her breath away more than others but compared to the gray city and cloudy skies she was used to seeing in Detroit, the view seemed almost mystical.

“Can I take a picture of you?” Dee heard someone ask from behind. She turned around to see a handsome man wearing all white standing there, holding a camera. He didn’t have shoes on and his shirt was only half buttoned. He was wearing loose drawstring pants, all thin white. He had bright eyes that swallowed Dee whole and wispy brown locks that framed his strong face.

“Oh, I’m sorry, is this private?” she asked, a little frightened. She looked around and realized she couldn’t see anything else but this man and the thick trees behind him. She had been in worse situations, but she still felt a bit frightened. She had her phone and a pretty good knowledge of self-defense moves, so she wouldn’t let herself get too hostile right away.

“Um no, or well, I don’t know. I’m just renting a house through the woods back there. I was walking around taking pictures and, well, I couldn’t help but notice how bright you glowed in the sun,” he told her, smiling as he revealed all this information to the tense Dee. She loosened up a bit at his warm smile, unable to control a little grin spreading through her rosy cheeks as well.

“Oh, thanks. I was just at the beach with some friends and started wandering.” She smiled back.

“I’m Ricardo Lomas,” he said with a smile. His mouth stretched far across his angular jaw.

“I’m Dominique Austin,” she responded, reaching out her hand, “but you can call me Dee.” His face instantly lit up once he touched her hand. She stood there for a moment, enjoying his smile surrounded by the smell of the water. His thick brown hair flew a bit in the wind, though there wasn’t much of a breeze to push the locks pushed to the side and tucked behind his ear.

He had gray stubble popping out on his chin and in his sideburns, but a dark shadow still filled the rest of his face. His eyes were big and bulged a bit, making his sockets stand out strong against his sharp nose. Dee thought some of his features were a bit funny, but altogether, along with his thick Spanish accent, Dee felt paralyzed.

“That’s a beautiful name,” he told her, taken aback by her striking figure and effortless glow. Dee was the girl everyone was jealous of when it came to their figure. She could eat fast food all day every day and still lose five pounds. She had a great set of natural breasts and a rounded behind to match her thick thighs. Not everyone could handle such a strong and tall woman like Dee, but Ricardo felt magnetic towards her presence.

“So, are you a photographer?” she asked, pointing to his camera.

“Yeah, actually, you might know some of my work,” he told her with a little bit of an attitude. Dee didn’t know who he was but got the sense that she should.

“Oh really? Like what?” she asked, curious if he was just all talk.

“I do a lot of high fashion pictures. It doesn’t matter,” he said, smiling. “I just didn’t want you to think I was some regular weirdo asking to snap pictures.” They both laughed.

“Well, let me see what you have,” Dee said, posing. Ricardo started taking pictures, easily catching the glow on Dee’s soft cheekbones. The mist of the water along with her sweat from the walk had created a dewy glow across her chest and shoulders. She looked like she was made of glitter.

“Well, let me see,” she said after he took a few pictures. He pulled them up on the camera for her to see, and Dee was surprised at the woman she saw in front of her. Most of the time, she would see a picture of herself and feel too tall, wide, or masculine. Ricardo knew how to capture her dominating presence while still showing a softer side to her feminine glow.

“These are really good.” She laughed as she looked at the photographs in shock.

“Have you done modeling before?” he asked.

“No, no way.” She laughed. “I’m way too old for that.”

“Well it certainly doesn’t show,” he told her, looking deep into her eyes.

“Well, thanks for the pictures I guess,” Dee said, walking away. She walked a few feet before she heard his voice again.

“This is going to sound so incredibly strange, I hate even asking this it’s going to sound weird,” he said shyly, “but would you be willing to come to my studio just for a few more pictures?” he asked. Dee considered running away right then and there, but something told her that she could trust those bottomless brown eyes.

“You have a studio here?” she asked, confused about how he managed to have a setup in the woods on the beach.

“Well, I set up a studio in the garage of the cabin I rented. I told you, I’m a photographer, it’s my job,” he said with a smile. Dee hadn’t gotten a strange request like that in a while, but her gut told her that it would be fine to follow him into the woods.

“Sure, I guess that’s something I could do.” She laughed.

“I promise, I’m not a serial killer.” He laughed. That only made Dee feel stranger. She pulled out her phone to text her friends that she met someone on the beach. They would certainly encourage her to spend some time with a man. It had been a while since Dee had been with anyone else.

“A friend of mine owns this beautiful space he lets me rent out from him when I need to clear my mind,” he explained to Dee as he led her through a green trail to a small cabin.

“I was supposed to have a shoot here with a different model, but things didn’t turn out the way I had wanted,” he told Dee as he frantically unlocked the metal door attached to a large barn behind a nice cabin. It was clear that whoever owned the property was very wealthy, but Dee still felt off entering the metal building with this random man. She was starting to get a bit worried about where she had agreed to go with this stranger. He was just so cute, however, and Dee almost felt as if she could see the good pouring out of him. She was good at trusting her gut, but she certainly had moments where she jumped in headfirst a bit too fast.

She walked into a massive garage and felt like she was in a dream. She saw right away from the backdrop and various equipment that he was, indeed, a professional photographer. That didn’t mean that he couldn’t also possibly be a serial killer, but still, Dee felt a little better knowing that he was telling the truth so far. He didn’t say anything and only gestured for her to walk around and get a good look at what was set up in the garage.

“I had a shoot scheduled for this new line coming out for the summer collection. I had all these great ideas of what to do, but when they bring me the model, she’s nothing that I had envisioned. I only needed a few more shots to finish off the collection, but I just couldn’t do it if it were the wrong person. Do I sound totally crazy?” he asked, already showing a little vulnerability to Dee. She was shocked to see this abandoned set, wondering what clothing line he was taking photographs for.

“No, you just sound passionate,” Dee said, still observing the room.

“Exactly!” Ricardo said as he made his way to the camera.

There were bright lights hanging a few feet above, illuminating the whole room. The walls were brick and the windows were high in the room. She walked over to a rack of clothes and started fingering through the luxurious items.

“Aren’t those just wonderful pieces?” Ricardo asked as he approached Dee. “Try one on,” he told her.

“Oh no, I could never,” Dee answered, honestly not sure if any of the garments would even be in her size.

Ricardo pushed through a few pieces before stopping on a simple long jean button-up shirt. Dee probably had a few tops like that in her own closet that she collected from various thrift stores, but it felt strange now to hold something that was probably incredibly expensive. She unbuttoned it from the hanger and slipped it on over her bikini, setting her scarf and purse down at a nearby table.

“What do you think?” she asked, barefoot and still feeling hot from the sun.

“It looks like it was made for you! Your face is perfectly circular and seems like it would go with any look,” he described.

Dee had never thought about her face in a way like he was describing. She thought that her own face was a bit plain.

“Here, come stand over here,” Ricardo said, pointing to the backdrop placed in front of the camera. It was plain white, but a neon pink light shaped like lips illuminated a feminine glow over the stark white set.

“The lighting looks perfect on your skin,” he told her as she stepped in front of the camera. “Now, just stand normal like how you would be waiting for the bus or in line at the movies.”

Dee could hear the camera snapping photographs, but she still felt strange, not sure how to stand. Normally, when someone was taking a photograph of her, they would be doing so with family members, or in a professional setting. Dee wasn’t sure how she was supposed to stand. Should she be looking sexy? Seductive? Clueless? High fashion?

“You’re doing a pretty good job. How about we try on some sunglasses?” he asked her, walking to a table on the other side of the studio where several pairs of sunglasses were laying out. “Here, these look perfect.”

He handed her the pair of sunglasses, another item that she assumed was worth thousands.

“Would you do one topless?” he asked, Dee’s stomach dropping at the suggestion. “I love doing something provocative when I’m selling a simple item, you know?”

Dee felt comfortable with him, clearly seeing that he wasn’t a dangerous man at all. It still felt strange to get naked in front of this man she barely knew, and she was self-conscious about her breasts, not wanting anyone to see her naked body. She was happy with her curves and felt confident with her face, but Dee much preferred to just keep the clothes on.

“I just don’t think I can,” she said firmly, feeling a bit uncomfortable with his demand.

“That’s fine, I understand. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable,” he said, getting a bit closer. “You shouldn’t be ashamed of your body Dominique.”

“I’m not. I just don’t want to be naked,” she said.

“It’s fine, it’s fine. I have a better idea,” he said, walking to another table set up on the other side of the studio. “I knew I wanted them to keep everything set up for a reason.”

Ricardo walked back towards Dee holding a few handfuls of flowers. He started placing them in Dee’s hair, in her pocket, behind her ears, and in her hands. She was covered in flowers and felt a little silly.

“Perfect,” he said, snapping a few more pictures. “Dee, you helped me complete it.”

Ricardo was beaming. He walked back over to Dee and started taking the flowers back out of her hair. She could smell his natural scent mixed with the salty water and fishy beaches. He looked down at her for a moment, both frozen under the pink glow from the light. Dee felt mesmerized by Ricardo’s presence. She lost control of her body, and before she knew it, she was kissing his cheek as he removed the flowers from behind her ear.

He looked at her for a moment only to turn towards her and kiss her mouth in return. They held their lips together for a moment before Ricardo pulled back.

“I can’t,” Ricardo said, pulling away from Dee. “I really do see something in you. I don’t want you to think that this is just something I did to get you back here.”

“It’s OK, I don’t think that,” she said, walking towards him. “I kissed you first. I wouldn’t have done that if I didn’t want to,” she responded.

Ricardo walked towards her fast again and kissed her hard, pulling her waist in close to his body, pushing her back over his arm a bit. He kissed her slowly as he unbuttoned her shirt, revealing her bikini once again. He had a large mouth, a perfect match for Dee’s soft plump lips. They took turns kissing each other’s massive pouts for a moment before Ricardo lifted Dee up nice and easy.

She was a tall girl, but Ricardo still didn’t seem like he had all that much trouble lifting her, so she could wrap her legs around his waist. He kissed her neck again, working his way all over her chest. He took her to a mostly empty table, pushing a few pieces of paper and empty containers off to the floor. He placed her down on the table and slid the shirt off her shoulders. She lay back gently onto the table, opening her legs to let him get in a bit closer.

He grabbed her waist, lifting it up a bit as if to inspect the mechanics of her round hips. She pushed her waist out towards him, wrapping her legs around his waist. She pulled him in hard and could feel that he was already growing underneath his light white pants. She started to untie them, but instead, he grabbed her hands.

“Not yet,” he said as quiet as possible. Very mechanical, he got on his knees and slowly peeled off Dee’s bikini bottom. She was self-conscious about her pudgy belly, but Ricardo didn’t seem to mind and immediately wrapped his lips around her clitoris, gently moving his tongue up and down her lips. Dee let out a soft moan to let him know that she was certainly enjoying it.

He pulled her waist off the table a little bit, allowing her to more easily wrap her legs around his head. He worked his mouth there for a few moments more, Dee getting close to not being able to handle much more of his mouth work.

She tugged his hair gently, letting him know that it was time to work his way back up. He slowly kissed up her chest, lifting her body gently back onto the table so that she didn’t have to rely on his shoulders anymore to keep her up. She was dripping wet and ready for him to go all the way, but he clearly wanted to continue exploring her body. She reached her hand down to his penis, feeling it throb hard under her hand. He was still wearing his pants, but though she couldn’t see his massive erection, she could tell that it would certainly be large.

He lowered her top, a part that Dee was dreading. She reminded herself that this man barely knew her. He didn’t know much about Dee’s story at all, so who was he to judge the rest of her body? Clearly, he didn’t mind any of the insecurities Dee had about her body and instead kissed gently all the way down towards her stomach.

He kept kissing her thighs, seemingly unable to fill his insatiable desire for Dee’s body. No one had explored her figure like that in some time and Dee was soaking up every second. She untied Ricardo’s pants, wanting to return the favor. Instead, he slowly let his pants drop, grabbing his own penis.

“Spread your legs now,” he told her as she sat up to return the favor. Instead, she listened to what he had to say, laying back down and opening her legs. “Perfect.”

He slowly placed the tip of his penis gently onto Dee’s clitoris, her entire body trembling. She could feel her own wetness running down the side of her leg, using all her energy and focus to not burst right there.

He slowly ran the tip down her lips, gently pushing his waist forward into her body. She could feel him hit deep, and he kept his waist thrust hard into hers for a moment before pulling all the way out.

“Does that feel good?” he asked her. She shook her head. He slowly took his shirt off, Dee keeping her legs spread the entire time. She was still wearing her bikini top, her large breasts pouring over the top. He stepped out of his pants and slid back inside Dee in one quick motion.

“Come here,” he said, lifting her up while he was still inside of her. She wrapped her legs around him and he started to walk back towards the garage door. She squeezed her legs around him hard, but for him to properly carry her, he had to slip out for a moment.

Still, he carried her the entire time, taking her through the garage door and back into the house. Dee felt so animalistic walking through the yard naked. He opened the door to the home, immediately placing Dee on a couch. He pressed himself flat on top of her, pushing himself back inside as soon as he could.

“Oh god!” Dee yelled as he started to pound her on the flat couch. She didn’t even know where she was, but she was experiencing the greatest joy she had so far on the entire vacation. “Don’t stop!”

He gave a few more thrusts, Dee eventually orgasming hard. He started to moan louder and louder, eventually exploding himself. He was quick to pull out, however, finishing on Dee’s stomach. “I’m sorry,” he said as he ran to grab a towel.*****

He slept so soundly that it was as if he was dead. Dee slipped on her bikini bottoms, grabbing her top and scarf so she could get out of there quickly. She had no idea where the bathroom was, but peeing was certainly the next step. She started to doze off a bit after they both had finished as well, only she made sure not to fall completely asleep. She didn’t want her friends to get worried. She also wanted to make sure that she didn’t have to deal with an awkward goodbye. They had their fun together, but Dee had a late flight planned and wasn’t expecting to stick around.

She felt a little guilty for her moment of pleasure, but that didn’t mean that she should feel completely bad about what she just did with Ricardo. They were both consenting adults, but part of Dee felt a little strange. She didn’t normally hook up with people like that. During the trip, some of her friends had went home with guys or hooked up in the hotel room, but she wasn’t like that. She was more interested in finding a partner to share memories with and someone that would build her up, making her a better person. Still, she was only human and couldn’t resist if the opportunity presented itself.

She looked at her phone. None of her friends had even responded, meaning she could likely meet them at the hotel if they weren’t still laying out on the beach. She had gone out with just a few people she worked with and some of their mutual friends. No one she traveled with could be called her best friend, but they all knew how to have fun together. They weren’t the type of people she would ask if she needed an organ donated, but when it came to vacation and having a memorable time, those girls certainly knew what they were doing.

She looked around the house, now actually able to get a glimpse of where she just made love to a stranger. It was decorated like a typical Bahamas getaway might be, with mostly floral pictures and décor scattered throughout the massive house. There was plenty of wood and stone, a look that Dee certainly liked, but it still felt a little too high scale to be warm and welcoming. The worst part was that she had peeked in a few doors, still unable to find a bathroom! Finally, she saw a sink through a door at the end of the hallway and sprinted towards it.

She ran to the bathroom, a luxurious spa with a toilet that probably cost more than her yearly salary. It had two toilets, or one that Dee was pretty sure was a budget, though she couldn’t really know for sure as she hadn’t seen one before. She felt she wasn’t even wealthy enough to use such a nice bathroom, but she had to go, and this was the place to do so. The toilet paper even felt nicer than most of the clothes she had to wear.

Once Dee finished up in the bathroom, she walked back out to the living room to see Ricardo still sleeping. The sun had passed through the windows in the main living area, making it seem a bit dark. She realized she left her purse in the garage and slipped out of the house without even saying goodbye.

Dee entered the garage, lights still on from the shoot. She grabbed the rest of her belongings and spotted the camera. She considered deleting the pictures but knew there was no way she’d have any idea how to work the camera. Part of her liked knowing what he was holding on his camera, a mystery only she and him were aware of. She had never posed nude before, not even sending a seductive picture of her body to a boyfriend. It was a foreign concept, but Dee partially regretted not taking her shirt off for him. She remembered looking good in the picture, and if this was the time to get the chance to have a real photographer capture her body in its birthday suit, she should have taken up on the chance.

No one had ever made her feel as beautiful as he did. It was something she hadn’t felt for a long time. She didn’t really date all too much as she didn’t have the time. Men would hit on her sometimes, but for the most part, she kept her style simple and tried not to attract too much attention. Getting spotted by Ricardo was a rarity that reminded her it felt good to be admired. Part of her wondered if she should leave her number next to the sleeping photographer, but the other part of her said to just walk away and head back to the beach.

She took one last moment to peek around the garage, not much actually there to offer her insight as to who this man she just spent her time with was. There were a few other photographs spread out, and she thought she may have recognized the designer of the fashion line that Ricardo was shooting for. She didn’t really know her fashion lines that well, however, as most of her clothing came from the discount racks at various stores. His work was no doubt exceptional, especially considering he had managed to make her feel so good. Still, if he was that famous, why didn’t she know him? When she really thought about it, however, she couldn’t really think of any famous photographers.

She knew the path well back to the main beach. There weren’t many other options. It was clear someone wealthy carved this little spot out of the woods for a retreat just like that. Dee wondered if she would ever be wealthy enough in her life to afford something so incredible. She didn’t even have enough money to own her own home, let alone have a second one in a warm destination. How amazing would it be if she could go back to the same spot once a year, getting a chance to experience a warm and refreshing place compared to the chilly Detroit that she was set to return to.

The sun was setting now, and she was glad to get the chance to see such a breathtaking view once again. The sun rose and set every single day, but not once was Dee ever bored with the amazing sight. She felt good, relieved, and relaxed on her walk back to the beach. Her friends were still camped out at the same spot, barely aware that their friend had wandered off. What they didn’t realize, however, is that Dee came back a different woman.
