The Hot Brother (Romance Love Story) (Hargrave Brothers - Book #5) by Alexa Davis (11)

11. Logan

Heidi couldn’t know the weight of responsibility I felt as I ran my hands over her silken skin. I had to make sure that I gave her the pleasure she deserved, but also that I didn’t scare or hurt her. Because I wanted to make sure of that, more than anything, I kissed my way down her body to the sweet tangle of curls that lay between her thighs.

With my hands, I gently parted her legs enough to place kisses on the insides of her upper thighs before centering myself and kissing my way from her mound back to the center of her wet heat. Instantly, her panting turned to cries of pleasure as I kissed her, using my tongue and even my teeth to coax more from her, my cock throbbing in time to the pulse I felt racing under my mouth, at her core.

“Oh, God,” she whimpered as I pulled her over the crest and her muscles spasmed around my tongue and finger. She clutched at my arms and shoulders, helplessly trembling under me, her hips rocking automatically as I licked and sucked to get as much of her in me as possible before I lost control of my own desire to bury myself inside her.

“Do you want more?” I asked, looking up along her lean body and between her breasts from between her legs. She nodded, and her eyes widened as I got up on my knees, looming over her.

“What do I have to do?” she asked, her voice husky as she reached up and touched me. It jumped, and she did, too, a startled giggle escaping her. “Sorry.”

I shook my head and placed her hand on my cock again. “No apology needed for turning me on.”

I watched as she wrapped her hand around me, gasping as I throbbed in her hand. “I will stop the second you need to, okay?”

“I’m an introvert, Logan, not a coward.” The tremble in her voice betrayed her nerves, but she brought her other hand up and stroked my thigh as she stroked my erection. “It seems… big, for where it has to go,” she confessed.

I nodded. “That’s why we’re going to take it slow and make sure you’re ready.”

“What? No proclamation of your masculine superiority and prowess?” She was sitting cross-legged in front of me with her face resting against my thigh as she explored.

“No. Maybe later, when we’re more comfortable with all this.”

“When I’m more comfortable with all this, you mean.” She pulled away. “Then I’d like to go back to kissing, if that’s okay?”

I leaned forward and pushed her back to the bed and kissed her mouth while our bodies were pressed together. Her skin was soft and supple under my fingers, and with every flick of my tongue in her mouth, her kisses became more insistent, until she was rocking under me with her tongue in my mouth, her fingers knotted in my hair. Her wetness spread over me as I rubbed between her legs. Her soft moans became panting, then helpless mewling as she tried to pull me inside her with her legs.

My fingers found her wet, ready, and the muscles opened easily to me. I guided myself into her, slowly, carefully. Then, with a growl of frustration, she impaled herself on me. She gasped, and I froze, worried that I’d hurt her with that first thrust.

“Oh, oh, my God,” she whispered, and I tried to pull out. She locked her ankles behind me and held on. “Is it always this good?”

I laughed, and every muscle relaxed until I was barely holding my weight off her as I laid over the length of her.

“It gets better, actually.” I laughed. “This is where I was supposed to say ‘don’t worry, the worst is over.’” She gasped and slowly started to rock her hips again.

“I don’t know if I ever thought anything could feel this… right,” she panted as I started to thrust harder, pulling out farther and pushing in with the rhythm of her hips.

“It isn’t always. But I already told you, you were meant to be mine.”

She closed her eyes, and I watched her face as we moved together, our rhythm perfectly in time. Her body fit mine seamlessly, from the long legs wrapped around my waist to her mouth soft and open under my lips when I dipped down to taste her.

I felt myself cresting and pushed harder, faster, to bring her with me. I lifted her hips to change the angle, and when she gasped, I knew I’d found the spot I needed to caress to give her the joy she deserved. Her eyes flew wide open, and she clung to me, staring into my eyes and through me as she was swept over the edge of pleasure to pure, sensual bliss.

Logan!” she screamed.

I kissed her, swallowing her cries, and reveling in the taste of my name in her mouth. She trembled under me, and I turned us gently, so I could stay sheathed inside her hot, wet embrace for a little while longer.

“I can’t believe we did that,” she whispered, her face pressed against my chest.

I kissed the top of her head and pulled her tighter against me. I ran my fingers down her side and the leg that was still flung over my hip.

“I didn’t think it could be a surprise to you, after all the suggestions and warnings I gave you over the past few days.”

“That’s just it, Logan. It’s only been a few days that we’ve know each other.”

“Several. Several days, and I knew you were mine from the middle of day one.” I pulled away from her, and she gasped.

“Oh, why did you do that? Please come back.”

“Don’t worry, Honey. We’ll be together like that before too long.” I pushed a sweaty tendril of hair off her forehead with one finger. “But you can’t stew in your own guilt while I hold you. I don’t feel guilty for wanting you or for caring about you. Don’t put your guilt on me.”

She sat up and hugged her knees to her chest, staring at me over them. “I was doing that, wasn’t I?” I nodded, and she lunged forward and threw her arms around my neck. “I’m sorry. I don’t know how to feel right now. This is so new, and I’m nervous.”

“I hope you’re excited, too, or I’m in for a lot of hurt.”

She pressed her forehead against mine. “You know, it’s not always about you.”

I laughed and draped my legs over the edge of the bed. With her arms still around my neck, I picked her up and carried her into the bathroom, setting her down on the edge of the jetted tub in the corner.

“We’ll have to use that later,” I told her as she sat on the cool tile border. “But for now, I’m going to exercise my herculean will and get some food in us before I ravage you again.” I turned the knobs in the shower and adjusted the temperature

“I don’t feel ravaged,” she said softly.

I turned around slightly and watched her over my shoulder. She looked out the window over the bath as her fingers trailed down her body to between her legs, cupping the warmest, softest part of her. I reached out and offered her my hand.

“There will be times when I take you hard and fast, when I’m selfish, and you’ll have to look out for yourself and your own pleasure. Sometimes, it’s what feels best, when it’s wild and passionate and spontaneous.” I kissed her under the hot rainfall of the shower. “But I will always make love to you, even when it’s hard fucking and not sweet and slow.”

“We made love,” she sighed. Her hands slid up over my chest and neck and she cupped my face in her hands. “Is that why I feel like I want this moment to last forever? Because it feels like love?”

I closed my eyes and let her trace the angles of my face, then run her fingers through the wet curls on my chest to the trail of hair that led her south from my navel. I knew it felt like love because it was. Fledgling love, in the first stages of birth, but love nonetheless.

But her heart was tender and raw from wounds that had festered there since childhood. There were no words that could cure her fear. I would only keep Heidi if I made her safer in my arms than she ever felt out of them. I opened my eyes and met hers. Flecks of gold danced in them as she gazed up at me, and she tugged me down to her for a kiss.

“We should go eat before you start something I have to finish and we starve.”

Heidi relented with a sigh, and squeezed body wash onto a loofah. I took it from her and washed her back and shoulders. I reached around her with soapy hands to fondle her breasts, and she moaned and rubbed her ass against me, pressing on my growing erection.

“I want you inside me, just one more time,” she panted, and I bent her forward and rubbed between her legs, soaping her up. I pushed inside her, and she cried out, half-moaning, half laughing as she braced against the shower wall and slid all the way up my shaft. She was so tight against me, the water pooled between my hips and spilled over the sides. I watched it wash the fragrant foam away from her ass and my hands where I gripped her tight.

I pulled almost all the way out, then slammed into her, and she fell against the tile. Without speaking, I repeated the movement with another slow pullout and a fast, hard thrust back into her. She adjusted and braced better, and I pounded into her in earnest. Soon, her moans turned to screams, and I held her up as her knees trembled and buckled under her. Carefully, I lowered her to the floor and continued with her on all fours, the water running over my face and pouring off my body onto hers.

She arched her back, threw back her head, and screamed her orgasm to the ceiling. I raked my fingers down her back in angry red lines from her shoulders to the smooth curve of her perfect ass. She tightened around me, squeezing her sweet muscles around me until I couldn’t hold back any longer. I slowed my pace and thrust into her in smooth, deliberate motions until I came into her with a roar. She answered with a triumphant laugh and pushed back up on me, holding me inside until she’d wrung every last drop from me.

“My God, Heidi. Talk about a steep learning curve,” I gasped. I pulled out and helped her to a sitting position on the floor of the shower. “There can’t be much hot water left. I’ll let you finish and go get dressed.” I kissed her, and we helped each other stand. I held her against me, and she kissed my chest over my pounding heart.

“Give me five minutes, and I’ll be ready to go,” she said.

“On our first date.”

“Yup. On our first date.”

“Sinner.”

She gave a startled laugh and smacked my arm with her palm. “Get out of my shower and leave me be,” she scoffed.

“Five minutes.” I stepped out of the glass enclosure and watched her wash her hair and rinse it.

She glanced out and saw me and dropped her hands, crossing them over her breasts. “Five minutes, alone, Logan.”

I sighed, wrapped a towel around my waist and went into the bedroom. I dressed and took the opportunity to wander around her little house. I had plenty of time. She wasn’t done in five minutes, but the twenty that I waited was worth every second.

Instead of her usual cargo pants and tank top, she was dressed in a micro mini with leggings underneath. Her shiny black top tied behind her neck, and she wore her hair long and curled around her shoulders.

“You look beautiful.”

“Thanks,” she giggled. “Not bad for five minutes, huh?”

I scoffed.

She winked at me and handed me a light jacket to assist her into. She slipped the silky material over her shoulders, and I tucked her hand over my arm.

“Don’t regret doing things a little backward, okay? I’m not going anywhere unless you go with me.”

Heidi sighed and quickly hugged my arm. “I was never one for doing things the way everyone else did, anyway,” she confessed.

I laughed to myself. There was nothing commonplace or ordinary about the lanky woman on my arm. I’d been wrong to assume that her shyness was fear. She was careful with her heart. She had good reasons. But I’d underestimated her sense of adventure. Hopefully, for the last time. I didn’t want to lose the brightest light I’d had in my life in such a long time.
