Chapter Twenty-Five

More Than a Girl

Lorenzo

Im very pleased with my day I’d managed to get Victoria to her party, without her knowing a thing. Something I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull off. It had been perfect when she suggested buying a house.

I had been trying to figure out how I was going to go about that as well. Victoria gets so funny about me spoiling her. I wasn’t sure how she would react to me wanting to buy her a house.

It worked out perfectly. I’d already looked at a bunch of places online to narrow down what I thought she would like. Amy had been emailing my dad properties for weeks.

I knew if I gave Victoria fewer options it would be easier to get her into a place she couldn’t refuse. I knew she would hate the first one we went to. That was my plan, to take her to exactly what she didn’t want so when I got her to the others, she would be more willing to say yes. I knew she would love the house, she picked.

She was more willing than I thought to let me give her what I wanted. Just watching her in the house made me want to tell her she could have it no matter the cost. She glowed in a way I’d never seen before.

It made me forget about all the chaos. I was already a little on edge about the party. I wasn’t willing to let Victoria out of my sight, but Venny and my dad promised to send Uncle Mike and Uncle Sal to watch the place and to follow her home to me.

While I waited for Victoria to come home, Chris sat on the couch eating us out of house and home. Chris was used to all the drama around my family. He grew up with all the security and arms, my father had around us. Chris saw a little more than he should have a few times too many.

He was like my brother to me and my dad treated him like a son. He knows how to use any one of the guns lying around the apartment, just as much as I do. Chris was with me at my first lesson. If I could trust anyone to have my back, Chris was the one.

He didn’t ask questions about what was going on. He just understood, Victoria was my priority. Chris has been trying his best to keep Angie out of whatever is going on. He won’t bring her here, when he comes over. I know that’s hard for him because he stays the weekend, whenever he does come. Angie begs to come down with him, but he refuses.

We’ve always been joined at the hip so I get why he spends so much time here. I try not to put him out too often. Just when the food is running out and I know Uncle Mike isn’t coming for a few days to fill the place back up.

However, I wanted to kick him out now. I only refrained because it’s been a little while since he has been over. I have plans for Victoria. I’d broken my promise about staying home today. I’m going to make that up to her big time. I felt so bad, she looked so sleepy when I left her.

I don’t care if Chris is there or not. I was going to make it up to her. I’d just been waiting for Victoria to text me that she was on the way. Then I would set up. I had already taken a shower and made myself something to eat.

Chris sat in his basketball shorts and a t-shirt, proving he wasn’t leaving for the night. I laughed to myself, wondering what he’s going to do when I got married. I guess it’s a good thing I’m buying a house and moving back to Jersey.

Maybe he will go home when he knows we are closer. Sometimes, I think he sticks around to protect us. I have noticed his revolver under his pillow at night, a few times. Just like my friend, not going to leave my back unguarded.

My phone goes off right as I went for the kill on the game we were playing. I got excited about my plans and paused the game to read the text. Chris cursed under his breath because he knew he was a goner once the game was continued.

Victoria: In the car. Pulling off soon. Love you.

Great I had about forty-five minutes to set up. I jumped up from the floor where I was sitting and nodded for Chris to play a round by himself. I headed straight for the bedroom.

I grabbed the bags of goodies I had stashed in my car the day before. I dumped them on the bed, I had stripped and put on fresh linens earlier, after my shower.

First, I grabbed the rose petals I had delivered to the doorman this evening. I started a trail from the bedroom door to the bathtub. I had just enough to make a perfect path for Victoria to walk on. I was back at my bags of goods to grab a bunch of the candles I’d bought.

I headed into the bathroom with half of the dozen. I had half pineapple and half vanilla. The girl in the shop said they would make a great blend. I hope she was right.

I set a few on the bathroom counter top that I had cleared off and cleaned earlier. I put another two by the foot of the tub. I looked at my watch, fifteen minutes had already passed.

I returned to the bedroom and arranged the rest of the candles on our end tables. I placed the pineapple rubbing oil on her side of the bed with a few towels. When I was finished, I ran into the kitchen to make sure the strawberries and pineapples I picked up earlier were still safe from Chris.

I had to warn him more than once already to keep his hand off. They were still safe, along with the whip cream I plan to use with them. I smirked as I thought over my plans.

When I returned to the room, I pulled out the bubble bath and went into the bathroom to run the water. The tub was another of the rare, but well worth the sticker price items in this apartment. It was huge for a New York City apartment.

I opened the Piña colada bubble bath and poured some into the hot water as it ran. Victoria loved pineapples and anything with them in it. If you asked me her body chemistry seems to make the pineapple scent so much more potent on her than anyone else.

I returned to the room to clean up all the wrappers and trash. Time was flying, I lost another twenty minutes. I went to get the small bag I had stashed, pulling out the silk nightgown I had bought Victoria, gently placing it over the footboard of the bed.

Everything was in place. I got out a mini torch and lit the candles in both rooms, just before cutting off the water. I could hear voices in the front of the apartment, Victoria had appeared.

I closed the door behind me and ran to meet her. As I turned the corner, into the kitchen area I could see Victoria and Angie by the door with a bunch of gift bags in their hands. Victoria still looked amazing in those fish net stocking that made her legs look longer.

Those silk pumps were killing me, adding to the sex appeal and her height. It was getting harder each day to remember to keep my hands to myself. I just kept reminding myself that our wedding is coming soon.

The black skirt she wore made her curves sing a song meant just for me. The navy-blue silk blouse clung to her just right, making me jealous of the fabric. I wanted to kiss her right then to see if she tasted as sweet as she looked.

I had to shake my head clear to focus. Chris made it to his feet, trying to help them out. I ran over to grab Victoria’s bags and take off her coat.

“Oh, Lo, there are more things in the car,” she said, as I tried to remove her coat.

“Don’t worry about it. We’ll take care of it,” I said, as I continued to take off her coat.

“Thanks,” she said, looking so sleepy.

I placed my hand on her hips and pulled her into me to kiss her. She was hesitant at first, once my tongue met hers I knew why. I was furious.

Her mouth had the sweet tang of alcohol. I pulled away and looked at her, ready to flip my lid. “Victoria, you were drinking and you drove home? If I’d know they were going to let you do that I would’ve come back for you,” I roared.

“No, Lorenzo. I didn’t drive, Angie did and I wasn’t drinking. I had a little champagne for the toast. I didn’t even finish the glass. It was gross.” Victoria gave me the most innocent look.

My anger melted just a bit, she got me every time with those eyes and super long, super thick eyelashes. It’s still hard to believe she doesn’t wear makeup. It’s like her features have their own mascara and eyeliner built in.

I looked at Angie. “Were you drinking?” I asked.

“Not even the toast, Lo,” Angie said, as she shook her head nervously. “Jo said it wasn’t my party. I wasn’t getting a pass this time.”

Chris duck in to kiss Angie, after devouring her face, he turned to give me the thumbs up. Needless to say, he turned back to her waiting lips for another sample. I calmed down, not wanting to ruin my plans.

Victoria placed her hand on my chest, staring up at me to see if I forgave her. I gave her cheek a chaste kiss to let her know I was over it. I would have a talk with my mothers and my step aunt, slash soon to be aunt in law, at another time.

“Did you have fun?” I asked to prove my mood changed.

“Yes, but I would love to get out of these clothes and take a shower,” she yawned.

I took her hand, leading her to the bedroom. As we turned the corner, the candle light could be seen through the frosted glass. Victoria looked up at me curiously.

I stopped in front of the door and gently kissed her, before I kneeled to the floor to pull her shoes from her feet. I opened the door as I stood, watching her face. The confused and nervous look was adorable. I peeked her cute nose.

“Follow the petals. Take your time and enjoy,” I said softly, kissing her lips.

She just smiled up at me, as her eyes filled with tears. “Lorenzo, I love you,” she said, reaching up on her toes to kiss me before she entered the room.

Once she was inside, I closed the door and went to the kitchen to set up the fruit and whip cream. Chris and Angie were hugged up on the couch, not even noticing me. I was fine with that.

It made me feel better that Angie was here with Chris. Her coming with Victoria was safer than her coming on her own. I wasn’t sure how well Chris was going to sleep with her here though. I think he cares about her as much as I care about Victoria or close to it.

“Hey, Lo, we’ll get the things out of the car in a minute, don’t sweat it man,” Chris called absently over his shoulder.

“Thanks, bro,” I answered.

I took a deep breath before returning to the room with my tray of goods. I walked into the room to see Victoria’s clothes in a pile on the floor, in front of the bathroom. I placed the tray down and went to collect the pile to put them in their place.

I turned on the little stereo in the bedroom and change into my sleep pants. I left my shirt off, not wanting one in the way. I paced the room a few times to give her some more time alone. After a while, I knocked on the open door, waiting for her to answer.

“Umm…yes,” she said shyly.

“May I come in? I won’t peek,” I teased.

“Yes,” she giggled.

I walked into the bathroom, carrying a sponge and some Piña colada body wash. Victoria eyed me curiously. She watched as I walked to the side of the tub and sat down next to it.

She was so beautiful with her hair piled on the top of her head in a messy bun, so it wouldn’t get wet. She was covered in bubbles up to her shoulders. I gave her a minute to relax, before I said or did anything.

“I can wash your back if that’s okay,” I offered while I held up my supplies.

She nodded shyly, as she bit her lip. I moved very slowly making sure my eyes stayed where she could see them as she lifted herself forward, so I could reach her back. I poured the body wash on the sponge and reached in to gently wash her back. After a few seconds, she relaxed and rested her head on her knees.

“Thanks, Lo. That feels nice,” she said softly.

“You’re welcome, Baby,” I replied. “Sorry I broke my promise. We can sleep in all day tomorrow if you want.”

“Is that what this is about? Lo, I don’t care that you broke your promise. I know why you did. I think it was sweet,” she whispered, with a smile in her voice.

“Yeah, but I wanted to make it up to you. I know you were tired. I felt sort of bad about it,” I explained. “I had planned this before today. Once I knew I would have to break my promise, but after I saw how tired you were I was glad I did.”

“Lorenzo, today was amazing all because of you. The house, the party, and tonight all amazing,” she said, and turned to reach for my face.

I stayed focused on getting the soap off her back. Once I was done, I turned my back to the tub and pressed up against it. I could hear her sit back in the tub again, the water slashing a little with her movements.

The candles had the whole room smelling great. I even found myself relaxing. I slumped down to put my head back against the edge of the tub and closed my eyes.

The music was soft in the background. I was getting sleepy myself. I felt Victoria’s wet hand comb through my hair, bringing a smile to my face.

Lorenzo,” she called in my favorite way.

“Yes, baby,” I moaned back.

“Is this what being married to you will be like?” she asked.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean this you, making me happy,” she explained. “You’re so patient with me. You give me just what I need like you promised always what I need.”

“Oh, of course, always. I don’t think I know how not to,” I admitted. “All I want is to see you happy.”

I felt her wet arms slide down my chest, my eyes flashed open. Her face was upside down over mine. She kissed me, before I could respond. It started out nice and sweet.

I reached to hold her hands and closed my eyes again. This was way more than what I wanted, but I wasn’t ready to let her go, as we deepened the kiss. We got lost in the passion of the kiss for a few minutes, before I released her hands. She pulled away from the kiss to trace my face with her fingertips.

“Lo,” she whispered in my ear. “Can you hand me a towel, Baby.”

“Yeah,” I replied, as I got up, retrieving for one of the towels I set out for her.

I held the towel out to her as I faced the door to leave. I felt her pull the towel from my hand, making sure the brush her fingers over mine. I walked out closing the door behind me.

I walked over to her side of the bed to wait for her to enter the room. I hoped she didn’t do the Victoria thing and try to clean the bathroom before she came out. I would take care of all of that tonight.

I was in luck. She came through the door a few minutes after me, not long enough for her to have cleaned up in there. I motioned with my index finger for her to come to me.

Victoria bit her lip unsure, again. I just stood there waiting patiently for her to make up her mind. She finally decided to cross the room to me.

“Do you trust me?” I asked.

“Yes,” she answered and nodded.

I turned her around, reaching around her for the front of her towel. She tensed a little. I paused giving her time to adjust.

“Relax, Baby,” I whispered.

I gently turned her large towel, so the opening of it was at her back, facing me. I tucked the top in place so it wouldn’t fall off. I had put out the beach towels on purpose.

“Go lay down on your stomach,” I whispered in her ear.

Victoria did as I asked, trying to move slowly so she wouldn’t lose the towel. Once she was on the bed, I walked over and unfolded one of the towels I’d placed with the oil. I placed the towel just below the small of her back, letting it fall across her and the bed.

I sat on the edge of the bed next to her, reaching for the top of the towel she was wearing. I could see her face in the candlelight. Her big eyes watched me anxiously. I moved slowly, as I pulled the towel open, exposing her back down to where the second towel rested.

I reached for the oil still moving slowly, so she could see every move I made. I poured some oil in my hands to harm it in my palms. I paused to allow her to relax. Victoria blinked at me a few times, before giving me a nod to proceed. I placed my hands on her back, causing her completely relaxed.

Her skin felt so smooth against my hands. I forced myself to focus on making her happy, and not where my hands were. I almost slipped when she started to moan, but I refocused myself. In two weeks, I would be able to indulge all I wanted, but tonight was about her. I was helping her relax.

It took everything in me as a man to ignore the satiny feel of her skin. I shut my ears off to the sensual moans slipping free from her lips. I ignored how enticing her scent had become.

I gritted my teeth and bared it. I finished massaging her back, shoulders, and arms, before closing her towel back. I moved the other towel to just above the top of her thighs.

This time instead of opening the towel, I just slid my hands underneath. My hands were saturated with more oil, as I slide my hands up her thighs. Victoria was very quiet, I’d thought she had fallen asleep at first. That is until she started to giggle when I touched her feet.

“Are you ticklish?” I asked.

“A little,” she said softly.

“Sorry,” I said, as I bent her leg back slowly to kiss the sole of her foot.

“It’s okay,” she murmured.

I finished the other side and stood up from the bed. Victoria lifted slightly to watch me, as I grabbed the towel that was still folded on the end table. I wanted to clean my hands of the oil. I picked up my supplies and headed for the bathroom.

“I’ll be right back,” I called over my shoulder. “The gown at the feet of the bed is for you.”

Victoria had blown out the candles in the bathroom already. So, I started with cleaning the tub. I cleaned up the rest of the bathroom and put all the candles in a bag I had set aside. I moved quickly because I wanted to get back to her before she fell asleep. As relaxed as she was, it wouldn’t take long.

I returned to the bedroom to find her standing at the foot of the bed, in the little nightgown. She looked magnificent like my own personal caramel, chocolate bunny, dressed in baby blue. I knew it’s one of her favorite colors.

The fabric was so thin I could see a perfect silhouette of her body. Her nipples strained again the thin fabric, giving away one of her secrets. I should’ve thought this part out a little better.

I ignored the thoughts running through my head at that moment, trying to calm my pulse. I went straight for the tray with the fruit and the whip cream. Once I had my tray, I went over and laced my hand in hers to walked back to her side of the bed.

I nodded for her to climb onto the bed and she did. I sat next to her and slid the tray onto the end table. I uncovered the fruit, picking up a piece of the fresh pineapple. I lifted it up to her lips. I watched her perfect lips part, as her teeth took the fruit and ate it.

“Are you okay?” I asked once she finished chewing.

“Yes… are you?” she asked sincerely.

“What do you mean?”

“This is okay with you,” she said, brushing at the thin nightgown. “It’s not too much, I can change.”

I leaned in and kissed her softly. “I’m fine, Beautiful. You can change if you’re uncomfortable.”

“No, if you like it, it’s okay. I just …I don’t want you to be uncomfortable with me in it. Two more weeks, right?” she asked nervously and gave me a worried look.

“Oh, Victoria,” I broke out into a laugh, “this isn’t that. Yes, two more weeks. I can handle that. I promised right.”

“Yes, you did,” she admitted. I could see her thinking. “Lo, can I tell you something?”

“Yes, Baby, anything.”

“You’re amazing. My father was nervous about us living together before. I spoke to him the other day about us. He was surprised that we’re still waiting.

“I told him how we sleep in the same room and the same bed. I was honest about the things I sleep in. He said that you’re a real man and he respects that, because after five months of sleeping in the same bed with a girl that looks like me, any boy would’ve lost it by now.”

Tears filled her eyes again, but I just sat and listened. “And tonight, you could’ve taken any of many opportunities to do more, but you didn’t. It’s not like you don’t want to.

“I can see in your face and in your body, you would love to. You’re just respecting what I want. Your amazing Lo. I hope I’m worth the wait.”

“Are you crazy, Victoria? I know you’ll be more than worth the wait,” I almost hissed at her. I had to relax to explain. “You mean more to me than what I can get from you. I want it to be special just as much as you do. For you, I think I would wait even if you didn’t ask me to. You’re not just something I want. You’re someone I need. What you’re going to give me is something only you can, no one else, and no one else will ever have it but me. I can wait for that. I will wait for that.”

The tears started to roll down her cheeks. I grasped her by her waist and pulled her to me. I kissed her nose and her forehead. “Please don’t cry,” I whispered.

Victoria’s fingers threaded in my hair, pulling me to her lips. I wasn’t sure if I should give in to her, so I pulled back. She rose to her knees and wrapped her arms around my neck.

“Lorenzo, please, I’ll behave, I promise. I won’t push, if it’s too much we can stop. Please,” she begged. “We can handle it.”

“No, Victoria. Even if we can, I don’t want to take advantage, that’s not why I did this. I love you, but I don’t think that’s a good idea.” I could see her pouting in the candlelight. “Please, baby, don’t be mad at me. Two weeks, right? Then, if one of us can’t stop, no one will be disappointed.”

“Okay,” she agreed. “Maybe I better go to sleep. Will you hide my fruit, so Chris doesn’t eat it?”

“Yes,” I chuckled. I draw back the sheets for her to get in and blow out the candles. I cut off the music and took the tray out to the kitchen, wrapping it back up. I found a black marker and wrote on it. Back off Chris. He’ll laugh at that when he’s in the refrigerator in the middle of the night.

Chris was knockout on the couch, with Angie curled up on top of him. Chris is a good guy. I didn’t have to worry about him disrespecting my couch. Even if these La Marcello girls make that very hard. In the past two months, Angie and Victoria have been going through changes any guy would notice.

Chris complained repeatedly about Angie coming up to campus. All his teammates have been eyeballing her. That’s another reason they haven’t been seeing each other.

He barred her from campus. All that baby face, she had when they started dating has completely fallen off. Angie has gotten closer to standing in a room with Victoria and not being an afterthought.

It was funny how they looked like twins at first glance just with different skin tones. Even as I looked at them on the couch, the way Angie was curled up on Chris looked just like the way Victoria falls asleep.

When I returned to the room, Victoria was knocked out. She looked so peaceful and pretty. I climbed in bed next to her and placed my arm around her. I was flattered she thought so much of me, but no matter how much I would wait, it didn’t mean I didn’t think about it all the time.

Shit, I was so hard from seeing her in that nightgown, I was surprised I could see straight. I could still smell her arousal from the massage. It would have been so easy to part her legs and dive in for a taste.

I could imagine her being sweet as fuck. I groaned at my thought, but I could wipe away the sight of her full breasts and hard nipples. Two weeks couldn’t come fast enough.

I plan to taste every inch of her body and teach her pleasure so great her head will spin. I don’t plan to let her up for air once I get my hands on her. Once she’s my wife, I plan to be buried balls deep inside her.

Victoria is sweet and innocent now, but I planned to corrupt her in all the best ways. I had a gut feeling she was going to be an amazing student. I sighed and rolled away. My thoughts had gotten me nowhere.

I exhaled, trying to take a minute to clean up my thoughts. It was no use. My mind moved through a few fantasies of devouring caramel skin and chocolate covered nipples, before I finally fall asleep.
