The Madam by M Robinson (18)

Chapter 18

I think this could go unsaid but the rich- people who truly have money, not the people who say they do- never want to be revealed. It’s much easier to play dirty when no one is looking, or when no one expects it. Of course, you have your celebrities and high profile individuals that are “obviously wealthy”, but what I am talking about is money of a different kind. Money that can truly take someone down; you have no idea where the hundred-dollar bill has been when it’s in your wallet.

Two words; blood money.

Madam’s and my dynamic changed after the evening with Taylor and Luke. I know she thinks she can read me like a book, but the feeling is very much mutual. I had learned a lot along the way, and the apple truly doesn’t fall far from the tree. I am Madam’s daughter.

It had been four months and I had trained and been responsible for Taylor’s initiation after that night. She really was a sweet girl and fit in perfectly as a VIP. The men were taken with her and she strived on that admiration. At the end of the day, all women want is attention. If they are given that then they will give you the world in a hand basket.

I walked into my condo at 7 am from spending the night with Mika. I know…believe it or not, but Mika had become somewhat of a confidant to me, I would go as far as to say that he became a friend. We will get to more of him, later. I walked in to find Madam there, drinking coffee with my luggage at her feet.

She grumbled and shook her head. “Good morning. Get showered and dressed, the plane is waiting,” she said before answering her phone.

I went right for the shower. I cleared off the fog from the mirror and inspected the damage of my appearance. My pupils were still dilated, and I had dark circles under my eyes. My lips were still swollen and my ass and the backs of my thighs were marked with welts. I rolled my eyes at my disheveled appearance and went to get dressed.

We were on the plane an hour later; I tried to drink some juice and eat some breakfast but the drugs that were still in my system did not like that idea. I felt like throwing up every time I swallowed a piece of food.

“Too much partying, Lilith?” she questioned with amusement.

I yawned, ignoring her, “I’m going to try to take a nap.”

“You don’t have time for that. The destination is three and a half hours away, and you already look like shit. Plus, I highly doubt you will be able to sleep.”

“Where are we going?”

“Colombia, Medellin to be exact.” I didn’t ask any more, if she wanted me to know, she would tell me.

I didn’t listen to her and took a nap anyway, going in and out of sleep. I felt like somewhat of a human being by the time we landed. There was a limo waiting for us as we stepped off the plane. We passed the slums with their colorful bright stack homes everywhere, buildings upon buildings, and natives walking in every direction. The unmanaged dirt roads made for an unpleasant ride. We turned down a secluded road, with palm trees on either side, and drove on it for about ten minutes. I began to see an infinite amount of water all around me before we reached golden gates. They let us right through, obviously expecting our arrival. The driveway was about a hundred yards and it led to a roundabout where the driver parked the car. We stepped onto limestone pavers that led all around the property. The mansion was breathtakingly beautiful, a tan waterfront estate with a terracotta tiled roof. It resembled a villa. There was a walkway in between the ten cathedral arches on each side, which held one vehicle in each port. The live-in part of the estate was further back.

I could smell the breeze coming off the water as we were escorted into the home. Grand angled stairs, led to ten foot high, custom made iron doors with intricate lattice work covering all the windows. They opened to a wide foyer with marble floors and walls as far as the eye could see. The sun shining over the clear ocean reflected onto the rear of the home. I noticed that the ceilings were covered in elaborate woodwork that I had never seen before. We walked into a cascading sunroom with windows on every inch of space that led to the veranda. It had the same limestone pavers that were in the front, and lush gardens surrounding the open waterfront estate. Beautiful fountains were all around the property, each intricately placed, although the olympic size swimming pool was the centerpiece. The patio furniture displayed an endless amount of food. The butler handed me a mimosa, and I greedily took it down.

I needed something to take the edge off from the previous night. I could see Madam looking at me from the corner of my eye and I didn’t pay her any mind. I took in the scenery of my surroundings.

I heard someone speaking in Spanish and turned around to see a man with three bodyguards surrounding him. They were strapped, and by that, I mean they had more guns than the Russian Mafia. He was approaching us in a respectable demeanor, the power and control radiating off of him with every step that he would take. He looked like your standard Colombian hell raiser; devastatingly handsome with chocolate brown eyes, strong accentuated facial structure, and black shoulder length hair that was tied in a ponytail. His facial hair had some grey in it, but it only made him look more dangerous. He was probably around his mid thirties.

This man had an endless amount of pussy and never even had to try.

The moment he reached us our eyes locked, just for a moment, before he went to Madam and kissed her cheek.

“Buenos dias, Madam. ¿Cómo fue tu vuelo?” he asked how her flight was.

“Pablo, mi vuelo estaba bien, no turbulencia,” she dismissively told him about our lack of turbulence.

“Inglés por favor. There are ears everywhere. Including the woman you decided to bring without invitation,” he stated with an unpleasant edge to his voice. His accent was thick, but it was sexy as sin.

“You offend me, since when do you not trust me?” she countered in a neutral tone.

He smiled and turned to me, extending out his right hand. “Pablo.”

I cocked my head to the side and grinned. “No kiss on the cheek? What do I have to do to deserve that kind of welcoming?” I held his hand lightly and moved closer to him.

“Lilith,” I answered, leaning in to kiss the corner of his mouth. I felt him harden from my forwardness, but it was quickly replaced.

He gestured toward the table of food. “Please, let’s eat before we talk business. It’s not so good to do on an empty stomach.”

We ate in silence for the most part. I was the last to finish my meal and our plates were immediately taken away and replaced with coffee. I took a sip and inadvertently groaned.

“That’s 100% pure Colombian coffee. Good, eh?” he questioned.

“Extremely.”

“Now enough of this chit chat, Pablo. We have places to be and people to see.”

“Madam, all work and no play makes Madam a dull girl.”

“Woman, Pablo. Lilith is a girl…see the difference?” I wanted to say something but I bit my tongue.

“Now, the farmers, is the shipment ready to be transported?” she asked.

I paid close attention to what she was talking about; I had no idea what they were discussing, but I knew it wouldn’t take me long to figure it out.

“You know that I have my people working day and night to get the demand ready. Who isn’t trusting whom, now?” he inquired with irritation dripping from his words.

“It’s business…two hundred and fifty kilos isn’t something I want to fuck around with. It will be the largest shipment we have transported,” she reminded him, speaking to him like he was some child instead of the Colombian drug lord that he was.

“I’m aware of the facts and as always, nothing will be traced back to you. You really have nothing to worry about. It’s a win, win for both of us,” he promoted.

I had so many questions that I wanted to ask, but I made sure to keep my mouth shut. Anticipation of what was to come filled me, rejuvenated me, and set my senses on fire.

“I have paid off everyone that needs to keep their mouth shut and the remaining were laid to rest. I think this transfer will be the easiest one yet.” Between his accent and his demeanor, I found myself physically turned on when he spoke.

“You think?”

“I know.”

She nodded. “We will keep that number on a monthly basis.”

He raised his left eyebrow. “You’re joking? Two hundred and fifty kilos a month is nothing. We could be transporting four hundred kilos a week with how much we are producing. We are losing a lot of time and money by not taking advantage and shipping as much as possible.”

“I don’t need the money. I want the best; for myself, and for my clients. I have distributors everywhere and that amount is enough for me. The end.”

“You’re passing an opportunity of a lifetime,” he declared.

“I’m not a stupid woman, I know the limits. If you have a problem with that then I will find someone else.”

He slammed his closed fist on the table making me jump. “I am the best. How dare you?”

She smiled mockingly at him. “This is your third world county. I run Miami. I know people who can make your life easier, or they can make it more difficult. I can slam my fists on tables too; want to see who can make it move more?” She sighed. “However, if you could so kindly remove the guns that are pointing at me and Lilith from under the table, I would appreciate it.”

I saw the men retrieve their weapons and place them on the table. I don’t think my heart had ever beaten as fast as it did that day. I felt it in my chest, the pit of my stomach, and especially my throat.

He cleared his throat, bringing my attention back to him. “The limo is waiting; let me show you the warehouse.”

Again, we rode in silence while we drove on a dirt path through the slums. These roads were much worse than what I had seen before. Madam didn’t bat an eye. We pulled up to a compound that had a gated fence and at least thirty guards that were holding machine guns; they were also covered with other weapons around their bodies.

We walked up to a warehouse that looked to be about 2,000 square feet, and the doors were immediately opened. To this day, I will never forget what I saw. My mouth dropped open and my eyes widened. There were rows beyond rows of kilos of cocaine, all perfectly placed and packaged from floor to ceiling.

Madam walked away from me to discuss business and I stood there by myself, not sure what to do. Was I supposed to move or stand still? I watched as Madam conducted business, her mannerisms, demeanor, and especially her tone of voice. They spoke Spanish to each other back and forth and I paid close attention to what they were discussing, taking in each and every word. Having the ability to read people was my sixth sense. I learned how important it was to be able to interpret all of your surroundings at a very young age.

That day changed my life.

It leveled the playing field.

The ball was in my court.

If I was seriously going to do what I was thinking, then I needed to move fast. I always knew that I would take over VIP one day, and this was Madam’s way of showing me how powerful she was, and how much I should fear her.

The Almighty Madam.

It backfired on her.

It only made me want it more.
