Mayhem: Soulless Bastards Mc No Cal Book 2 (Soulless Bastards NoCal) by Erin Trejo (12)

Chapter 12

Taylor

“Are you sure we should be here? Mayhem said I was having a different guy tonight. I don’t think I should be out,” I whine as Beth drags me toward the club. This is a bad idea, I know it is.

“It’s fine. He isn’t your dad. Besides, it’s Thursday. You’ve been blowing me off for weeks now.” She huffs.

I know we made plans to come out to Leggs a few weeks back, but we never made it. Now I don’t know that it’s a good idea and I just happened to neglect to tell her that this is going to be my new place of employment.

“How did you get rid of those guys anyway?” I ask. She threw off the security guys so that they didn’t follow us here. I don’t know how she did it. She looks over and doesn’t give me anything but a grin. The music is blasting, and women are screaming. There are guys dancing around, and HOLY SHIT I just saw a dick!

“Beth, this is a bad idea,” I complain. I don’t know what I feel at the moment. Embarrassed? Turned on? Excited? Beth drags me through the crowd toward the front despite my complaints. I see Brooke off to the side. She smiles and waves, wiggling her eyebrows.

This is embarrassing as hell.

“Sit and drink,” Beth commands. I sit at the small table and watch. The crowd grows silent as the lights dim. I watch the stage, and I almost lose my mind when I see him. The man comes out, rolling his hips. The way he sensually moves his body makes mine come alive. I watch the way he commands the stage. When he pulls his shorts off and kicks them to the side, I almost lose it. The guy is hung! I drag my eyes up to his face, and my heart stops. His eyes lock with mine. My mouth hangs open.

“Mayhem.” His name leaves my mouth before I can rethink it. I leap out of the chair and rush toward the bathroom overcome with embarrassment. I hear the screams of women as I run. Hell, they should scream. He’s gorgeous. I don’t even make it all the way to the door when I hear him directly behind me.

“What the fuck are you doin’ here?” His voice is harsh and rough. I can’t look at him. I can’t turn to face him. Guess it’s a good thing I don’t have to. His hands wrap around my waist, pulling me into his hard body. I can feel his chest pressed against my back, his hard on against me. I can feel myself getting wet for him.

“I asked you a question, Tay.” His lips are so close to my neck. Oh. My. God. He is too close.

“I came with Beth. I didn’t know you would be here. Naked. Here.” I realize I’m repeating myself but Jesus, I just saw his dick! It was an impressive dick at that.

“Where the fuck is your security?” he asks with a growl. Shit, why did he have to do that? I can feel myself getting wetter by the second.

“Lost them.” His fingers skate over my stomach before moving under my shirt. When he touches my bare skin, I swear I’m going to explode.

“You lost your security, and now you’re here? Seems wrong, Tay.” His voice has dropped. It’s huskier and sexy now.

“I didn’t know you would be here,” I repeat.

“I heard that part already. You should be at home.” His gruff voice turns into a roar. His hands leave my skin, and I whine. I fucking whine! He heard it. He had to have heard it! I feel like such a fool.

“Let’s go,” he snaps. I spin around and watch him walk toward a door off to the side. He has his shorts back on but that’s it. I stand there stunned into silence.

“Now, Tay!” he barks. I jolt but head into the room he’s standing next to. I don’t say a word as I watch him pull his shirt over his head. Once he puts his baseball hat on backward, he looks at me.

“You have security for a reason, Tay. To keep you safe. Blowin’ them off isn’t a fuckin’ option,” he snaps. His jaw tics as he watches me, his body strung tight in anger.

His anger elicits feelings I thought I had been able to bury. I feel like a little girl. I feel the way I did when my dad would tell me that my mom’s death was my fault. In this moment, I feel so small.

“I didn’t mean t-” I start to speak, but Mayhem moves toward me quickly, taking me by surprise. His lips slam against mine and cut off my words. His tongue dances in my mouth. The heat between my legs explodes. Mayhem’s hands move to my back, lifting my shirt slightly.

“When I get you home, I’m gonna fuck you until you can’t walk. I’m gonna claim every piece of your body. You won’t walk or run from anyone else for the next week.”

His threats turn me on. The thought of him fucking me, kissing me, touching me.

“Yes.” I breathe. That’s the only word that comes out of my mouth. I don’t know what changed his mind, but I’m not complaining.

“Let’s go.” He grabs my hand, dragging me out of the room and down the hallway.

“You weren’t done!” Brooke stops us.

“I am now. She’s off the schedule, too,” Mayhem snaps. I don’t dare say anything to him right now. He’s in a mood.

“Mayhem!” Brooke screams as he drags me down the hall. He doesn’t stop either.

He doesn’t stop until he has me on the back of his bike.
