Pain Play (Play Series Book 3) by Morticia Knight (7)

Chapter Seven

Terry had kept the week between Christmas and New Year’s free of any business or sessions. He’d intended to do it all along, so he could have some time off with Phil at the holidays, but he was even happier he’d already set the time aside after the unexpected collaring on Christmas Eve. Terry relaxed on the couch, having just gotten off the phone with his mom. His sister’s pregnancy was overdue, so they’d been chatting about how unfortunate it was that they hadn’t spent Christmas together. Terry was getting caught up with his family while Phil was at the gym.

I wonder what he’s bringing home? Phil had insisted that Terry take a night off—as well as New Year’s Day—from performing all his domestic duties. Apparently, Phil had ordered food from several of their favorite local eateries so they would have plenty of tasty choices for their housebound holiday. Phil hadn’t let on where he was going, or what he was getting, but Terry didn’t mind. In fact, it was perfect. His Master knew what his likes and dislikes were and would pick out things he loved. On top of that, Terry wouldn’t have to make a decision about what he wanted.

Their evening would revolve around a couple of films they’d both been wanting to see, but hadn’t gotten to yet, as well as enjoying whatever amazing eats Phil brought home. The next day, Phil would be watching the game and Terry figured he’d relax on the couch with him and read while that went on. Phil had assured him that there’d be some sort of play involved, but had remained mysterious about what he had planned. Whatever it is, I’m sure I’ll be feeling it for days afterwards.

He was a pain slut. He’d might as well admit it. When he’d initially gotten back together with Phil, and had confessed to him how much he’d always enjoyed their rough sex, it had never occurred to him that he also got off on pain. Then again, it never occurred to me that I wanted to give up all control of every aspect of my life. He snorted. Or have sex in front of other men. He couldn’t imagine what other revelations the new year would bring.

Terry sucked in a breath at the sound of the lock in the door. Phil was back earlier than he’d expected, and nothing could make him happier. He jumped up, scurrying to the door to make sure he was in perfect position when Phil stepped over the threshold.

“Ah, you must’ve been close by.” Phil laid his hand on Terry’s head, the customary greeting something that always gave Terry peace. “I could use your help bringing in the bags from the car.”

Terry rose to his feet and pursed his lips.

Phil shook his head as he chuckled, but leaned in to give Terry the kiss he’d been not-so-subtly asking for. Phil retreated then pinched Terry’s ass.

“Such a pushy boy.”

Terry narrowed his eyes. “Baby. I’m a pushy baby.” Terry frowned. That didn’t sound how I thought it would. “I meant your baby, not that I’m a baby.” He let out an aggravated sigh. “I sound like a goofball.”

Phil squeezed the back of Terry’s neck. “Actually, you sound unsettled, a little cranky. Is something bothering you?”

“Um, I’m not sure.” At the arch of Phil’s eyebrows, Terry struggled to get his meaning across. “I’m not hiding, I swear. Give me a few minutes while I unload the car to run things through my head, okay?”

Phil nodded, then patted his back before dropping his arm to his side. “All right. But I’ll help you out so we can get it done faster.”

“If it’s all right, Master, I’d like to do it by myself while you get comfortable. I think…” Terry gave a small growl. “I’m all anxious, like I’m trying to crawl out of my own skin. Which of course, leads me to think I’ve gone insane.”

Phil regarded him with a piercing gaze as he seemed to study him. “Hmmm. You know, a lot has happened in the past couple weeks. A lot of big emotional changes and new commitments. Frankly, I’d be surprised if all the new elements that’ve been introduced into our lives wasn’t affecting you on a deeper level.” Phil narrowed his eyes. “I have a thought. Once you’ve collected everything from the car and put it away, I want you to meet me in the bedroom.”

Terry’s eyes widened. He was pretty sure he knew what that meant. Maybe not exactly what would happen, but at the very least, that they’d be engaging in some play. “Okay. Is there anything about the food I need to know? Can it all go in the fridge, or does something need to go into the oven to stay warm?”

Phil smiled. “No. I assumed we wouldn’t be eating immediately since it’s still early, but I also wanted to leave my options open. I’m glad I did.” He winked. “Don’t keep me waiting too long.”

Terry scurried to do Phil’s bidding, only sneaking a few peeks at what Phil had brought home when he would spot a particularly enticing container. Ooh, my favorite eclairs. He opened another box. Awesome. Spicy tuna roll.

Phil’s voice rang out from across the house. “Are you rifling through those containers or putting them away?”

Shit. “Almost done!”

“That wasn’t an answer.”

Terry hurried along as fast as he could without endangering their party snacks. Once he’d finished putting everything away and tidied up, he rushed to get to the bedroom.

“Someone seems anxious to discover what wicked things I have planned for them.” Phil quirked a smile, his heated gaze giving Terry a jolt of arousal. The fact that Phil had taken the opportunity to change out of his street clothes and into his skin-tight leather pants only added to his need. Phil’s bare, lightly furred muscular chest had also thrown him off his sub game.

Terry snapped into position and lowered his gaze. “Anxious to do my Master’s will.”

“Nicely done, baby.”

Phil ambled slowly around him, occasionally trailing one finger with the faintest of touches across his skin. Terry never knew what part of his body he would trace, or when Phil would choose to make contact, and soon he found himself thinking of nothing else. He waited. Waited for the touch that would connect them even if it only lasted a few seconds.

“Time for another soft limit. Before I picked up the food, I made a quick stop somewhere else. You may relax and meet my eyes so we can discuss it.”

Terry lifted his gaze, but instead of looking directly at Phil, he glanced past his shoulder to their bed. He furrowed his brow. “Is that a rubber sheet?”

Phil let out a sigh as he rubbed his forehead. “No. It’s not a rubber sheet. It’s a thin vinyl material that serves two purposes. One is the tactile sensation when you lie on it. The other, is indeed to protect our regular sheet.” Phil grasped Terry’s chin between his thumb and index finger. “Did you hear what I said we were to do tonight?”

Terry searched his mind, reaching back to the beginning of their conversation. “That we were going to try another soft limit.”

“Exactly. Is there anything on your soft limits list that would necessitate the use of a rubber sheet?”

Terry chuckled, feeling a bit ridiculous. “True. And anyway, it would make more sense to do something like that in the tub.”

Phil placed his hands on his hips. “Do you think we could return to my original plan for tonight?”

Terry cleared his throat. “Yeah. Sorry. I guess I was—ow!” Terry grabbed his chest where Phil had just twisted his nipple.

“Do I have your full attention now?”

“Very full.”

Phil smirked. “Oh, you’ll be full all right. No worries there.”

“Good to know.”

“Good to know, Master. And I don’t recall asking for a response.”

“Right.” Terry shuffled on his feet before he could stop himself. “Sorry. Right, Master.”

Phil cupped his cheek, still holding his gaze. “You really are flustered. In the future, I expect you to come to me before you reach this level of agitation. I need to be made aware if your emotions are out of whack or if anything else is bothering you. That’s the only way I can be effective as your Master.”

The urge to reach for Phil, to bring them together so they were skin to skin, was difficult to control. They were on high protocol and he’d already messed up a couple times. He didn’t want to disappoint Phil any more than he already had.

“To be totally honest, I wasn’t aware of it myself.” He bit his lip. “At least, I don’t think I am? I think I’m so used to handling everything on my own, keeping my little irritations inside and trying not to make a big deal out of everything, that it didn’t occur to me that you might want to know.” Terry snorted. “I’m sure you don’t want me bugging you every five minutes just because I’m annoyed the mail is late.”

Phil shook his head. “If it’s necessary, I do.”

Terry held in a chuckle because he could tell how serious Phil was, that his words hadn’t been said lightly. But he couldn’t grasp the why of it. He didn’t know anyone, not even his mother, who wanted to be regaled with a bunch of whining and complaining on a daily basis.

“That’s really cool of you to say, but you can’t literally mean that. You’d never have a moment to yourself.”

A smile tugged at the corner of Phil’s lips and he brushed some hair back from Terry’s face. “I do mean it. I want you to know how sincere I am, the truth of what I say. But I would also expect you to work with me on finding ways to help you cope with life’s frustrating moments. Then, when something very serious comes along, you won’t even hesitate to come to me. I guarantee you that if you called and were upset because the mail was late, I’d find a way to help you make it better. Even if I was away from home, I’d give you a task or something that would take your mind off your worries so you could get some relief.” Phil rubbed Terry’s shoulder. “This is our journey together. You’re my life and first priority in everything. If you say you need me for any reason, I will honor that.”

Once again, Phil’s words had not only astounded him, but jacked up his emotions. I swear, if he makes me start weeping again… “Thank you. I can’t even begin to express how much that means to me. And I believe you. I know you’re not just making random promises that you have no intention of keeping. I figured that out right after we first got back together. It’s me that’s holding myself back right now.”

Phil’s smile grew bigger. “I can work with that. For tonight, if you agree to allow me to explore a new soft limit with you, I believe I can help you settle so you can enjoy our last couple days off before we both get back to work again.”

Terry worked extra hard to remain still. “Okay. Which soft limit is this exactly?”

At the sight of Phil’s grin, Terry was almost sorry he’d asked.

“The hot wax.”

Terry swallowed hard. “Oh yeah. That one.” He pictured it in his head. Or rather, he pictured what he’d seen on a BDSM porn site he’d visited while Phil had been out one day. The two Dom’s tormenting the sub in the film hadn’t held back, and it was clear the sub was feeling every second of it hardcore. But that was a fake scene. Not like what me and Phil share.

“Okay. I’ll agree to it. But you’ll talk me through it, right? At least this first time?”

“Yes, baby. Every step.” Phil indicated to the bed. “Go lie on your back. Then raise your arms above your head and spread your legs.”

After taking a deep breath, Terry followed Phil’s orders. He settled on the cool vinyl, the material quickly warming to his body heat. He held in a snort at the slight squeak it made against his skin as he adjusted his butt to get his back in a more comfortable position. Phil attached leather cuffs to his wrists so that his arms extended from one corner at the top of the mattress to the other. He repeated the same action with his ankles, encouraging him to open his legs as wide as he could. The bonds held Terry tightly, making him feel even more vulnerable and exposed.

Terry sucked in a sharp breath, tensing as the first thick, white candle came into view. “Uh, hold up. First question and an observation, Master.”

“Go ahead.”

“Will I need a tub of burn cream after this? And since my safeword is candle, I was thinking that might present a problem.”

The seriousness of Phil’s demeanor comforted him. Phil might joke with him on occasion during a scene, but also seemed to know when Terry needed him to be straightforward.

“Not at all. These candles are specifically manufactured for BDSM play. And I had already considered the issue with your safeword, but thank you for reminding me. If you feel it’s a problem, then for this session you can switch to red. Is that agreeable?”

“Yeah, that works.” He let out a long exhale. “It seems like every aspect of the BDSM world has been thought out already.”

Phil gave him a shrug and a smile. “Maybe not everything, but quite a bit.”

Terry closed his eyes while Phil checked the cuffs to make sure they weren’t cutting off his circulation. He focused on his breathing, his nerves wreaking havoc with him as he tried to mentally prepare himself for what they were about to do. I know I love pain, this is just a new type. I think. He had no choice other than to let go and leave it all in Phil’s hands.

“Come on baby, open your eyes. You’re not blindfolded, and I want you to see exactly what I’m doing.” Phil had an expression that hinted at evil. “For this type of play, many times the anticipation is worse than the actual result.”

Terry doubted Phil was interested in his thoughts on the subject, so he kept his mouth shut.

Phil struck his lighter, bringing the flame to the wick. “Get ready.”

Before he’d had a chance to process what Phil had said, the first splash of searing wax hit his chest.

“Fuck!”

Phil raised the candle so that more wax wouldn’t fall. “One curse, and that’s it. Anymore beyond that one and you’ll be writing ‘I will not use foul language during scenes’ a hundred times. Are we clear?”

“Very clear, Master.” Doesn’t mean I can’t let loose in my head. In truth, the sharp bite of pain had only lasted a couple seconds. He was aware of the hardened piece of wax on his skin, but it no longer burned.

“Then I’ll continue.”

Terry hissed, using all his strength not to shout out profanities that would make grown men cry, but it wasn’t easy. Each splatter from the candle would hit his skin then quickly lose its edge. Soon, his chest and belly were covered with so much wax that he’d begun to feel like a candle himself.

“You seem to have taken to this quite well.” Phil blew out the candle then set it on a metal tray. He retrieved a new one that was exactly the same as the other, then laid it down on the nightstand next to the candle they’d just used. “This one, I’m saving for something special. But before I begin with that, I need to clear my canvas.”

Shit!” Terry arched his back off the bed, but that didn’t stop Phil from yanking another piece of hardened wax from his skin. “Fuckity fuck fuck!” The second piece had ripped out the hairs of his treasure trail.

“Hmm. Sounds to me as if someone is going to be spending their day writing standards instead of eating tiramisu.”

“Wait, what?” Terry angled his head to look at Phil. “You mean you got tiramisu and the eclairs?”

A big grin spread across Phil’s face. “I knew you were digging through those containers.” With that, he gripped another large chunk of wax and tore it away.

Somehow, Terry managed to confine his response to an unrestrained shout.

“Okay, last one.” Once Phil had ripped away the final patch on his hip, he plucked the fresh candle from the tray. “I only have a couple quick spots I want to do. I have to be careful not to burn this candle down too far since I mean for it to have multiple uses.”

Nothing put Terry on edge more than when Phil would make cryptic comments. The man had a devilish imagination and never hesitated to unleash it on his poor, well-used body. And I love every second of it.

Phil leaned over, moving closer to him as if attempting to aim the drops more precisely. Terry pulled on the cuffs as if he could prevent the first searing drop from landing on his erect nipple. He growled through clenched teeth, the sensation beyond anything he’d experienced before. The sharp burn from the hot wax seemed to settle in his balls, his cock beginning to fill in response.

“That’s it, baby. I knew you’d love it.”

The second splash hit his other nipple as he tried to twist away. But he couldn’t hide from the jolt of pain nor could he ignore how hard his prick had become.

“Just a couple more, then we’re done. These last ones are going to be spectacular.”

Terry jerked and screamed as several small drops decorated his sac, the feeling as if someone were poking him with needles. Only one spot left, I don’t think I can…

He screamed louder, kicking uselessly, his legs imprisoned by the cuffs, as three drops of hot wax landed on the end of his cock in quick succession.

Phil blew out the candle and set it alongside the first, much shorter one. “Very nicely done.” Phil let out a small groan. “I’m so fucking hard right now. But you get a reward because you took that so well for me. You get to come first, however, I have to get rid of this pesky wax first. Trust me when I tell you that in a moment, you won’t appreciate it where it is.”

“Wait. Should you try to soften that first so I—holy fuck!” Terry squeezed his eyes shut, tears streaming down the sides of his face, sweat beading at his hairline and his upper lip. He could barely process the intense pain in his dick and sac. The raw ache of his nipples was nothing compared to what his junk had just been put through.

Phil reached above his head and started to undo the cuffs. I should get a blow job out of this. He kept his thoughts to himself. He didn’t want Phil changing his mind about letting him come.

After he’d been released from all his bonds, Phil rolled him onto his stomach. That’s cool. I’ll never say no to getting fucked by Phil.

“Tuck your knees underneath you, baby.”

As Phil went through the familiar ritual of prepping his ass, the erection he’d lost when Phil had torn the final pieces of wax away began to return. Phil seemed to pay special attention to his rim, softening him with both thumbs while holding his cheeks wide open.

Phil removed his fingers and Terry exhaled. He’d extended his arms above his head in anticipation of a good, rough fuck from his Master. Terry also supported his head against his upper arm to keep his face from rubbing against the vinyl covering. As he gazed toward the nightstand where Phil had placed the lube next to the candles, he tensed as Phil picked up the larger of the two that he’d just been using. No way could he handle the burning wax on his hole, no fucking way. Red. All you have to do is say it.

Using his safeword had never been an issue for him, and Phil had always made it very clear that he was expected to use it if he had to. But something held him back. He frowned when instead of lighting the candle, Phil moved behind him with it. He jerked his head up as Phil prodded his entrance with the still warm object.

“Come on, baby. I know you can take this. It’s not much bigger than my cock. Let it in, let it spread you open so I can fuck you with it.”

Terry pressed back while Phil gently pressed forward. Phil would barely breach him, then retreat to slicken the hard object before working it in again. The round, blunt end fought to enter him, and it wasn’t until Terry bore down that it slipped past his tight ring of muscle. The sensation was unbelievable, his hole burning from stretched so wide. More lube was rubbed around his heated, tender skin. Then the hard object moved inside him, Phil keeping his actions gentle, but sure. He didn’t plunge too deeply, but twisted it within him as he worked his passage.

“God, this is so fucking hot. You should see yourself, taking it for me so good.” Phil’s voice came out low and husky. “Now you do it. Fuck yourself on it. Show me how much you want to please your Master. You’re going to make yourself come just from this. No touching, only this, the thing that burned your skin, made you scream. My little pain slut loved that, didn’t you?”

“Oh…” Terry raised his head, pushed with his arms to give himself more leverage to shove himself back onto the candle. “Yes. Loved it…” He sighed. “So much.”

Phil groaned. “Yeah. Like that.”

Terry used his whole body, made love to the candle as if it were an extension of Phil. His inner heat seemed to have softened the wax a bit, and it became more comfortable, more pleasurable. After thrusting on the thick intrusion in his passage for a while, Phil’s growls and moans had begun to match Terry’s own. To his surprise, Phil was right. He was going to come just from having the candle jammed up his ass.

Phil took over, holding Terry in place by curling an arm around his middle, then fucking him with short stabs. The sensations were too much, too extreme. He was never allowed to come without permission, he realized that. But in a few seconds, it wasn’t going to matter what the rules were.

“M-master.” Terry grunted, barely able to catch his breath. “Gotta…”

He let out a keening cry, curling his toes as if he could ward off the inevitable. Terry threw his head back again, a scream ready to burst forth, but it was impossible to give it voice. His throat closed off as he shot long arcs of cum across the vinyl, his body jerking and shaking before he collapsed boneless on the bed. Phil entered him fast and hard. He’d only had a moment of emptiness before he was filled again, but this time it was from his Master.

Phil wrapped his arm around Terry’s throat then reached up to twine their fingers together above Terry’s head. After a few more jerky thrusts, Phil growled as he filled him with his seed. Phil’s breath was hot and loud against his ear, his weight pressing him into the mattress both comforting and safe.

That was what I needed. How does he always know?
