Crown and Anchor Series: Book 1-4 by Kerri Ann (84)

CHINA

After a few early morning rounds of who can take more abuse, me with his cock or him with my pussy, we finally rested in-between, long enough to have a conversation that didn’t include groans, cries, and squealing noises.

“So, Officer. Let’s get on to the story time portion of our adventure.” Pointing to one of the various tattoos on his chest that covers a multitude of scars, I pick the one I want to know about the most. “What’s this for?”

Standing out in the hues is a white rose with drops of blood on the petals. It seems so real and vibrant, like it tells its own story. Pulling me in tight to his chest, Risen blows out a heavy breath before answering. He’s composing himself.

“Of course you’d pick that one first. That’s for my mother.”

Tentatively touching the edges of the ink, Risen places my fingertip on the edge of the rose, right at a thorn. It’s raised and rough where the stem travels down the outside of his pec. A scar covered by beauty.

“My mother stabbed me with a steak knife when I asked her if we had cereal. I was nine.”

What the fuck?

I sit up so fast in bed that the covers spin in fear. “You were nine and the sweet, innocent, and demure Gaille fucking Petersen stabbed you?”

“The Petersen’s are my adoptive family. My mother was her sister. I’m a Mason, remember?” Kissing the exposed skin of my shoulder, Risen tries to coax me back down. “Lay back and I’ll tell you.”

Reveling in the sweet touch, I still feel so raw at his admission. Knowing his last name was different in a city like L.A., with families that are more fluid than most parts of the U.S., I assumed it was a split marriage. First marriage thing.

“I’m Gaille’s nephew. When I ran away for the umpteenth time, the courts found my mother guilty of the things she and her numerous boyfriends did. I’m not getting into that as it’s something I don’t talk about, but let’s say my birth parents weren’t model citizens or loving parents. And the various ‘uncles’ my mother had were worse than scum to a child they had no care for.”

“So the tattoos hide scars?”

Nodding his head, Risen turns over onto his back, curling me into his side. I lazily trace each and every tattoo, scar, blemish, and mark I can see on the outside. Knowing exactly how he feels when it comes to talking about your flaws, I have a great understanding. I don’t speak of mine either.

Musing about it, all I say is, “Inside scars are the hardest ones to cover.”

“Yeah, they are, China.” Kissing the top of my head, I look over the rest of the artwork. There’s a blue carnation, a devil, looking strangely like Cupid. Two chariots with horses stamping down on brilliant clouds, driven by a bald eagle, and a centaur tossing out a handful of candies. Some of them are so surreal and obtuse that I don’t think explanations could do them justice. But there’s another that stands out above all the rest. I need to know if it’s what I think it is.

“What about this one?” Rising up out of water on a seahorse is a goddess with glowing red eyes, black hair, ethereally flowing everywhere, and a crown. A certain crown.

“The day I was carrying you around in the courthouse, you know Harlow picked it right out of the whole mix? Out of all the covered skin, she saw that. I knew she’d seen it for what it was. That sneaky grin of hers lit up the dingy room, and I knew I was in trouble.”

Flipping me onto my back and poising himself above me, Risen’s gaze is transfixing as he looks right into my eyes. “It was the first tattoo I ever got and for good reason. I was maybe fifteen then, and I’d already been in and out of juvie for petty shit. My aunt and uncle tried everything they could to keep me on the straight and narrow, but even the good in them wasn’t outweighing the bad in me, or so I thought. Living in hell with my birth parents up until I was twelve did me no good. I didn’t think the justice system knew how to help kids like me. So, when I was removed for good, moving here with my aunt and uncle, I had a bad regard for the law, and my uncle the cop.

“I thought they didn’t understand me. After all, here they were, living in their ivory tower, in this posh city full of money. Poverty was something you helped, not lived in. I wasn’t sure how to accept love and compassion unless it came from dangerous people who’d do me harm. I rebelled a great deal and got myself into heaps of fucking trouble. I’d joined this gang in South Central—”

“The Espositos Familia,” I interrupt.

He nods. “Exactly. They took me under their wing and pulled me out of the discomfort I was feeling. I was a part of something, and even though it was dangerous, it was right.”

“So you raced.”

“So I raced. I was good at it, finding a place that accepted me for my suicidal tendencies.”

“I guess I can understand that better than most.”

His body is pressing tight against mine in the most scrumptious of ways, fencing me in. I feel his cock tighten once more, rubbing against my stomach, just at that sensitive spot above my core. Wiggling a little bit, I worm my way up his body until his now hardened flesh sits poised to rub the nub of my clit. Risen grins.

“Yeah, I guess you do. Anyway, I raced, I won, I lost, and I was arrested. My dad gave me a choice to straighten out and live in the means of the law, or keep on the path of my fucked-up sperm donor and egg-filled idiot creators. If I followed in the path of destruction, I would be out on the streets. I’d be alone, without a means to save myself if the law came knocking again. So I listened.” Reaching for the side table, I grab up a condom and hand it to Risen. Like a pro, the package is ripped, the cover applied and we’re in business again.

Positioning his cock at my entrance, I raise and lower my hips. A growl escapes his mouth as I relish the notion that I produced that. I’ve never been seductive or sultry. I’ve never had the opportunity to be that girl to anyone, and it feels nice.

“So, you still talk to them? The Espositos?”

“Yes. But at the moment, they’re the last thing on my mind, China. What will I ever do with you?”

“I can think of a few things.” I squeak as Ri pushes himself past my entrance, filling me inch by glorious inch.

“How’s that?” Ri asks, knowing the slight pain that was there the first time.

“The painful tightness from last night is gone, but that burning sensation is oh so good.” He’s not my first, but he’s the first of this size.

As a wave of lust fills me up, I can feel the strain of my orgasm building quickly again. Sending shooting sensations of joy to my core, it wraps around every surface. Risen pushes in a bit then pulls back, hitting every sharp nerve that reacts like a hurricane in my soul.

“Fuck,” Risen grinds out through clenched teeth. “If it always feels this good, I’m never leaving.”

I can’t disagree. It feels amazing. The tightness and the ache is fantastic. Bending low enough to kiss, I want his mouth on me. I want his hands on me, and most importantly, I want him thrusting deep inside of me.

“Don’t hold back this time,” I beg. I’ll cry and plead if necessary.

Risen pushes harder, slamming into me as my orgasm builds and builds, creating a tingling fire up my spine and down my chest, causing me to tighten my legs around his hips.

Through the haze of my ecstasy, I hear him say, “You’re so tight and warm. Come for me, China. Let me see you fall apart.”

As the sweat builds on his brow, he holds back his orgasm, waiting on mine. Ever the chivalrous one. Matching his movements thrust for thrust, the pain of it comes on me like a blistering heat. Screaming out, my hips move of their own accord as my core squeezes his cock tightly, pulsing my satisfaction.

Chasing his own release, Risen rises, raises me up and pistons into me over and over as his palm slaps my already sore ass over and over. Did I think I’d be the girl who loved to be spanked? No. But crashing into a second wave of bliss, my body grips his tighter than I thought possible. Gripping his face in my hands, I kiss him for all it’s worth, soaking up the joy that surrounds us. In the throes of passion, Risen looks amazing, and as I watch his own end crest, he’s immeasurable in his beauty. As he lets his inhibitions take over, his body and mine are in sync. Rocking out our final waves of incredible bliss, we slow to a stop. Laying on him, kissing him again, the smile that lights up his face is terrific.

“Time to clean up and see where everyone is, princess.” Smacking him lightly on the chest, I enjoy the sound of him saying a nickname I’ve hated anyone but my father or Duke saying. When Risen does it, it doesn’t hurt. I appreciate it in an unusual way that I never have before. He says it with caring, not out of sarcasm, deceit, or cynicism.

“Come on. I’m sure the masses will wonder if we’ve ran off. It’s almost noon.” Rising out of the bed, I watch with detached intent as his naked form wanders to the bathroom for a shower.

“Noon? Fuck, we’ll never hear the end of this.” Hearing the shower start, walking in behind him, I take a look at myself in the mirror.  Realizing the shower is the only thing that will save me from my friends, I hop in behind him.

They knew what was going to happen. We knew what might happen eventually, whether we wanted to admit it or not. And the freshly ‘fucked’ face will do neither of us any good.

Bring on the teasing, I say.
