Bait by Pierce Smith (19)

Over the next few days, they enjoyed the best sex of their lives. It was not like Cody was cheating on Max, as Max had already cut off all communication, but he couldn't explain why or how quickly his gravitation towards Drake happened, and their adoration of each other in the closed apartment was incredible. Moreover, Cody forced his mind not to think ahead, nor did Drake leave Cody alone long enough for him to even dare to think more about them. Finally, Cody let himself drown in Drake’s admiration.

One night Joseph messaged him telling him the Math Professor had returned and was looking for him. Suddenly, all the previous longings for Max returned in a fraction of a second. Cody yearned to go and meet his old love. Sitting in a dilemma, he couldn’t decide what he could name the relationship he was having with Drake. But then Drake came into the bedroom wearing nothing and gave him another great sex session, making him forget what he was thinking about.

That night while Drake slept alongside Cody, after playing and sleeping, Cody woke up around 3am, took a quick bath, and slipped into his clothes. He left a note on the corner table. Opening the gate silently, Cody ran away from Drake’s apartment. He reached his house in the early hours and slipped under his blanket before Joe could ask anything.

Next morning Drake woke up and found himself alone in his bed. Looking around, he didn’t feel a vibe of another soul in his apartment. He got out of bed as naked as he had slept holding Cody in his embrace. He looked around, checked the bathroom, and the whole of the apartment. Cody was gone. He got it. Pouring whiskey in a glass, he gulped the shot and poured another glass. He walked back into the bedroom where he found Cody’s note.

“I am feeling great and want to have my old life back now,” Drake sat on the bed and gulped his shot. Clenching the glass, he stared at the floor for some time, and then threw the glass at the wall, its broken pieces scattering around. Drake’s face partially reflected in each segment.

In another part of New York, Cody went to Max to share all that had happened to him in his absence. While walking to class, he planned on how to argue with Max about why he left without telling him, and hadn't responded to him either. Max pulled him into an empty room after class and fucked him, whispering how much he missed his ass. Cody didn't feel any sort of love for him, and his illusion of having this most fascinating personality as his boyfriend shattered. He started rethinking about his relationship. After sex, he asked Max to sit and talk, but he rushed to tuck his cock back in his pants, saying he had many more important things to do rather than listening to his rants, though he promised to chat online. He gave Cody a big kiss on his cheek and muttered something about showing his dick in the chatroom.

Cody was confused, mostly devastated, thinking he messed with the wrong guy who was there only for sex, and he was only Max’s toy. Thinking, he took hold of the desk on which he was fucked a moment before, and leaned down to pull up his pants. While he was buckling his belt, Joseph came into the classroom and found Cody in the awkward situation. Neither said a word, and Cody walked out of the classroom leaving his roommate with thousands of unanswered questions.

Walking out into the corridor, his tears broke through, and weeping, he ran into the washroom, to clean himself up. When he had collected himself enough to move, he raced to his dorm room, locking the door and cried until he slept. In the evening, his roommate came home and they avoided talking about the incident. Joseph updated him with classroom antics, and then informed him he had to go to his aunt’s and would be staying overnight. Cody wanted him to stay and comfort him, but he also wanted him to leave so he could do a Skype chat with Max and tell him how he felt. When there was no answer from Max, he calmed himself with the thought that Max was probably busy with college, and yes, he was away for quite a long time. Even in the absence of Drake, he would be just as horny. Thinking and trying to justify Max, Cody slipped into his loafers and went out for something to eat. He hadn’t eaten lunch and it was now late evening. While walking along the road, he found Drake sitting on a bench in the park, wearing a crimson t-shirt and loose knee-length shorts. Drake was busy reading his Kindle. Smiling he took two chicken kathi rolls and walked up to Drake.

“Feeling hungry?” He offered him one.

“No, thank you.” Drake refused the roll but Cody sat down beside him and began eating.

Drake looked at him, smiled, grinning at his sassiness. “Why did you leave me so abruptly? You were supposed to tell me, right?” He forced himself to stop rambling.

“Right. I did leave a note for you,” Cody again offered a roll. “You didn’t find it?”

“I did. I was so worried about you,”

“Don’t be. I am not a kid. It was one incident only.”

“Still. Don’t you know you made me feel like a bitch this morning?”

Cody stared at him for a while. Biting into his roll. “I felt, I was feeling like that too. You know I was in love with someone else, yet I was sleeping with you and I don’t know why.” He took a deep breath staring into beautiful eyes, and then giving a slight gaze at his lips, “And I loved every second I spent with you.” He moaned.

“Me too.” Drake caressed Cody’s cheek, running his fingers over Cody’s lips and picked a piece of chicken hanging out of his mouth and ate it himself. “Yummy… never had anything like this before.”

Cody was aghast by what Drake had just done.

“I like you. You know this.” Cody moaned.

“From the very first day. When I had laid my eyes on you. ”

“Yes.”

“It’s not your fault. Whoever meets me becomes one of my fans.” Drake laughed.

“You are full of crap.”

“Not your fault. There are many around to keep my head swollen, squirming at my gaze, pleading at one smile, and licking my boots all night begging me to fuck them.”

“I didn’t do anything like that.”

“That’s why it hurt me.”

“So I was just a toy for you? Like the other bitches?”

“I cannot explain my feelings for you now. Perhaps more than them. Because it was you who made me tempted after so long a time. Before meeting you, I was just fucking and relieving my frustrations.” Drake replied leaving Cody aghast.

“I thought you were a sober guy who loved making love.”

Drake laughed out loud. “I am. But when it comes to sex, I become a fucking horny beast. I hope you know from last night what I mean?”

“I do. You were a damn Master at that. No doubt about it.” Cody offered his roll again, but Drake gestured him to carry on eating it himself.

“Do you think I was a bitch too… who came to sleep with you.”

“Like I said. You are different. Vulnerable.” Drake winked at him. “More like you can make anyone needy for you,” he smiled wider, “but you know I always get what I want in the end.”

“So you thought you would just get what you wanted?” Cody’s question made Drake stare at him. It was very heavy question.

“Just by sleeping with someone, you cannot claim him, although I think I left a mark on his heart...” Whispering in his seducing though strong voice, Drake leaned over him and kissed Cody on the lips. Cody didn’t resist at all. “...and perhaps, everywhere else... He knows what I want and I want him.”

“Perhaps you are at the wrong door... ”

Putting his half-eaten roll down on the bench, Cody walked away. He was thinking about where he was caught, between a rock and a hard place. Two handsome bastards wanted him, but only because of their lust.

Though, he had hoped he had more expectations from Max.
