This became the story almost every day. Max collected Cody when classes ended and they would spend the night together at Max’s home. Joseph was worried about where Cody was spending his nights, but Cody remained unresponsive to him. Everyone knew everything, but no one said anything. Lips were sealed. Eyes talked without guilt or explanation. No one needed, nor bothered to tell. Everyone was enjoying their lives. Cody was high on lust with Max, and clutched in his sexy grip, forgot the world around him. His nights passed blissfully and days were spent planning for the following nights.

Cody didn’t do anything during the day except recall the feelings of the previous night, ears full of the moans and grunts, body arching against Max’s powerful thrusts. His tongue kept salivating and passing tingling tastes, eyes over-occupied with Max’s sexy physique and his teasing actions. Cody drooled with the taste of Max’s dick, pushed deep into his throat as cum shot down into his gullet. Licking his lips, biting his tongue, passing moans and then cursing the night for ending too soon. This was now Cody’s daily routine.

In turn, Max remained busy with college, teaching, and interacting with students as usual. Always busy dealing with ladies and hunks, numerous new faces and no more flirting with anyone. But he never forgot about picking up Cody before leaving college for the day. It was like another routine in his college schedule. He knew how to keep his partner on edge, and how to care for his personal issues. Cody never came to know who else Max talked with, if he even did, but Cody was not particularly interested either.

Drake watched admiring their performance. Though he missed hanging around with Cody sometimes, he was the only living, breathing soul who knew all their secrets, discreetly, silently, watching them, though he remained busy with his own life. Drake’s charisma never faded, in fact it grew like a waxing moon. Ladies kept him busy so his attention remained diverted away from Cody and Max. But Cody was his student and they still had to meet, as per college routine, four times each week. It was sufficient to revive the pain of missing each other. Drake’s smile and Cody avoiding his gaze told everything. Cody was becoming hooked and Drake watched silently.

Joseph’s situation also changed. Until Cody began hanging out late at night with Max, Cody waited for Joe but now everything was swept aside. Joseph waited for Cody because he cared, because he knew Cody was not as mature, bold, or smart enough as he made out, to cope with the outside world. He could be trapped, kidnapped and sold into the sex market, tripped for a night, or even be robbed by a drug addict. Cody was not someone who would hang out late at night except for a reason. He knew the reason but was uncertain about the cause. He dared to ask Cody too, but Cody was never truthful. Still speaking out Max’s name to stop further questions. Joe’s hesitation meant Cody could avoid confessing entirely.

Tina knew the story between the two men was brewing like a thick creamy latte. But she was not updated with the most recent events, or to what level they had reached in their relationship. Cody sleeping with Max and thinking this was beyond the pale for her. Cole didn’t bother about anyone else’s feelings.

And what about Cody’s parents? They had completely lost touch with their son and he didn’t care.

Ultimately Cody was free to do anything he wanted. Thinking less, analyzing least, he let his life take him where it wanted to go. New experiences delighted him.

Their obsession escalated to the next level when one day, Max messaged Cody and called him to the parking area. Throwing him over the car’s hood, Max nailed Cody right there. Fear of being seen by anyone heightened the crazy fervor of his boyfriend, kept him heady. Max wasn’t done yet, neither was Cody. Pushing Cody up against the adjacent brick wall, Max lifted him up and fucked him again. He lifted Cody, who wrapped his legs around Max’s waist. Cody’s back kept hitting the wall, pain wrapped in with their lust, skyrocketed his fun. Anything done by Max was an arousing ecstasy for him.

They didn’t end there. Max dragged Cody into the back seat before Cody could pull up his pants. Jumping into the driver’s seat and starting the engine, Max drove out of the college carpark. Cody relaxed laying across the back seat. He didn’t care to pull up his pants now. Max peered in the rearview mirror and found Cody lying flat out, intoxicated in his love, a little exhausted, hands up holding the door so as not to slide off the seat, with his pants still around his ankles. His dick was lethargically flaccid, and Cody looked lovingly at Max. They smiled at each other.

“Watch the road, Hun. I don’t want to go hospital today,” Cody blinked.

“You will go straight into my arms.” Max spoke turning to keep his eyes on the road. “Not planning to cover yourself? Remember, my apartment is on the tenth floor.”

“Doesn’t matter. I would go naked just for you. Dressing and undressing takes too much time. Can’t we go on a long vacation, just you and I? Somewhere away from mankind? Where we can stay naked all day and night?”

“Oh! Darling I wish! But silly humans are dorks. They won’t let us fulfill our desires.” Max laughed out loud and accelerated. After driving for a few minutes, he parked at the roadside and threw his coat over Cody, “Cover yourself. I am going to get some lunch for us.”

“Get dinner too,” Cody shouted when Max slammed the car door. Both laughed out loud. The sex hysterically controlled them. He was half heady and half mystified in whatever the best doses of sex offered him. Cody was confused about their sexy behavior, which was like a high dose drug for him. And he took it as if it was never going to happen again in his life. Still, until Max, he had a very arid sex life. “Bring breakfast too.” Laughing desperately, Cody wiped his body with Max’s coat and then made a pillow with it. He had no shame when people peered into the car. It was an utterly different twist in his personality. The seriousness was evaporating from him, and vagueness replacing it. Slowly and steadily, he was changing. Max was changing him.

“Oh my god! You didn’t cover up.” Max laughed, wickedly looking at the naked Cody lying as he was who joined the laughter. “Here you go. Take something. You might be hungry.”

“Not at all. I am thirsty though, Max. Satisfy me,” Showing off as he tore Max’s shirt wide open, Cody laughed hysterically once again. But he also took the bag offered by Max. He found a chickenburger and a cheeseburger inside. Sitting up, “I was actually hungry too…” he accepted them.

“I knew it. I’ve seen it in your eyes.” Max added before biting into his burger. Their laughter didn’t stop and Max choked, the burger had slipped into his throat while eating and laughing

“Take care of your throat, Prof.” Cody laughed, offering him a water bottle. “But my hunger was different. And it’s still here. Look again.” Cody leaned forward.

“I can see it down there.” Gesturing at Cody’s erect dick, Max smiled, the car still stationary at that point, and Cody stuffed another burger down before Max drove on. “We should not waste time, right?”

“Right, Hun. I can see a thirst in you too.” Cody giggled, unwrapping the last burger and drinking his iced tea.

“Youth, energy, and passion come once in a lifetime. It shouldn’t be wasted by thinking, manipulating, or yearning. Rather it should be spent in doing, achieving, and satisfying our longings.”

“Your speech is quite motivational, Hun. But my mind is calculating how far it is to your house, yet.” Cody murmured.

“Not much further.” With that, Max drove past the communal gate. His apartment building was straight in front of their eyes. “Would you like to go outside like that?” Gesturing at his nakedness, Max smirked.

“I will for you.” Cody leaned over and kissed Max on the lips. He finally pulled up his pants and wore Max’s coat slung around his shoulders.

“Better,” Max smiled opening the door and they both walked hurriedly towards the elevator. Kissing ardently while they unlocked Max’s apartment, then remained there until the next morning. They watched the rising sun together while Max pounded into Cody at the windowsill.

It became the routine of almost every day. Max sneaked time in between his working hours, they ran up to his apartment, and gratified their hunger. Gradually, Cody started skipping more of his classes, avoiding friends, and not coming back to his room at all. He stayed at Max’s home and came home in the morning to bathe, change his clothes, then go to college and repeat, unless Max was out of the city or busy anywhere else. In that case they messaged, or Skyped all night. Life was smooth on their unknown road. Until Joe’s birthday arrived and he invited Cody too.

Cody was having sex with Max every day. He ignored the party despite numerous calls by Joseph. He had invited him and with undue pressure, Cody knew he should attend, and he had originally said yes. But Cody didn’t go. He was drowning in the intoxicating love of his so called bastard boyfriend. Joe’s call came and Cody’s cellphone buzzed. He put it aside yet the phone kept on ringing. ‘Why would I consider anyone else so much, when my love, my whole world is with me? When I am with him, what else do I need? He is just my friend, huh!’

Cody wandered round Max’s bedroom and let himself fall freely on the bed. The soft cushions welcomed his tired body. Max was lying naked at the other corner. Cody crawled over to him, gesturing as if he would bite him, and Max pulled him down.

The night passed and they didn’t come to know.

The following morning Cody returned to his place. The apartment was crammed with last night’s party’s leftovers. Joseph was on the couch half dozing. “Hey, I missed you…” Joseph said as he got Cody’s attention. He didn’t bother to move as usual, lying on the couch, disappointed but masking it through a fake smile. “Actually, everyone missed you…” He smiled wider.

“I am sorry… I had plans to join you… but I don’t know where the time went.” Hiding his eyes, Cody responded. “Either way, seems you had fun… Happy Birthday… belated?” A sneaky grin came on his lips.

“Yet not belated… the sun hasn’t risen… yet. So it’s still night… yup… thank you for the birthday wishes.” Joseph grumbled on and Cody realized he was still drunk. Not much, but boozed up enough to last the day. Gesturing at the cake, “I have kept a piece for you.” Joe took his turn to catch some sleep on the couch.

“Thank you. I will try it in the morning. Seems you are tired… so am I. Let’s get some sleep.” Cody moved towards his room. Unlocking the door, he pushed to open it, but before he could enter inside something stopped him.

“Cody,” a humble but drowsy Joe’s voice made him stumble. Turning back, he looked at Joseph, who was staring at him with wide open red eyes. “I hope you know what you are doing.”

The words were heavy, and made Cody think for some moments before he nodded. They were full of care, responsibility, and tenderness. He looked back into Joe’s eyes. They looked far more experienced and reliable, than any of those who he met with recently. Cody’s heart trembled, yet he didn’t know why. Something made Cody look away, avoiding his gaze, the thief in him wanted to sneak away. He smiled, the best he could do just then, and walked into his room, closed the door against Joe’s eyes and after undressing, he slipped under his blanket.

The next few days were hectic, boring, and full of loneliness. Cody had to stay at his apartment and spend his nights with Joe. Max was unresponsive except for a few messages. Cody had forgotten how to spend the day without Max. He was kind of getting addicted to him and his lust. His fingers missed Max’s body, and his ears missed his moans. But nothing under his control made Cody freak out. Impatiently, he strode around his room, stamping his feet, cursing about the ‘unwanted situations’ that Max was telling him about. He would do anything to go back to Max. He attempted to reach out to him at his apartment, but either it was locked from the outside, or guard wouldn’t allow late visiting without prior permission from Max. In the end he had to stay at his room with Joe.

Over a week passed since he stayed a night with Max, Cody forgot he could talk with Joe. They had become more like strangers and less like unwanted roommates. They passed as visitors, an occasional smile to each other, and kept quiet, sitting on the couch for the evening, until Joe finally broke the silence. He was always curious about what Cody was doing. “Are you staying in tonight?” Joe began the conversation after a long silence.

“Perhaps, yes.”

“You don’t want to be here, right now, do you?”

“No.” A heavy sigh escaped Cody’s mouth. He smiled with a sadness on his face.

“Do you have a new boyfriend?”

“When did I have an old one?”

“True,” Joe cocked his eyebrow in anxiety. “So you do have a boyfriend, right? If that is the right definition?”

“Yes.”

“So you two are committed?”

“I don’t know.” Cody’s precise replies were heating the situation. “Specifics? I love him and he loves me… what else do you need?” Cody’s eyes twinkled in fun, glanced at Joe, his face glowing with excitement, and then the phone buzzed with an online response.

“True,” Joe spoke, but by then Cody was inside his room chuckling, looking at his message.

----

“Helloooooo, why are you making me burn for your love?” Cody hissed, typing, amalgamating the words with his slang.

After a minute. Max replied. “Hi.” And then a long silence.

 In between Cody dropped, “Hi”

Cody: “?”

Cody: “Hello,”

Cody: “Hun,”

Cody: “Sweetie, I am here.”

Cody: “Can we meet tonight?”

Max: “Hi. I am not at home. How are you?”

Cody: “Bad. Very bad. Where are you then?”

Max: “Somewhere. Busy tonight.”

Cody: “Who is keeping you busy?”

Cody: “?”

Cody: “??”

Cody: “I am coming to your place.”

Max: “Nope. No way. You are not coming to my place.”

Max: “I am at my friend’s place…. He needed my help tonight.”

Cody: “It’s been over a week. Don’t you want to hang around… any longer?”

Max: “I do… but he is also important to me.”

Cody: “Choose him or me tonight…” Cody sulked and waited for his reply.

Max: “LOL. Don’t be a brat. I am busy. See you later.” Max typed and then went offline.

Cody: “Nope. Wait. I am not going anywhere…” But there was no response. Teary-eyed, he stared at the screen anticipating Max would return. Then with a flick, Max appeared and Cody pressed the video button. His heart couldn’t resist seeing his love. Wiping his eyes, he stared into the screen, the darkness cleared away showing Max’s profile, and a half-naked man walking past in the room. At the same time, the video was cut off. “Who the hell was -?” Cody typed hurriedly.

Max: “My cousin.”

Cody: “And what is he doing half-naked in your room.”

Max: “Oh! He is just changing.”

Cody: “He can do that in his own room, too.”

Max: “Yep. Don’t be jealous, kiddo.” Max wrote with a winking emoji.

Cody’s instincts were on edge. His mind was running in all directions. The man on the screen seemed known to him. His neck and half chin were visible on the screen. Cody dug into his memory to connect him with any of the people he knew. But he failed. He still smelled a rat.

Cody: “What should I do while you are with your cousin? Huh? I am lonely.”

Max: “Don’t you have any friends to pass your nights with? You can hang with them and have some fun?” And again a winking emojis.

Cody: “What do you mean fun?” Cody hissed to himself.

Max: “Any kind of fun. You are a young man, you should be desired by many. It’s your time to hang out, make friends, and have lots of sex.”

Cody: “I am not a slut.” Cody hissed and pressed the video button on again.

What appeared on his screen was unbelievable except in a nightmare. Max’s so-called cousin was lying over Max’s back, butt naked. Cody saw his plump ass and his legs caressing over Max’s. They weren’t fucking, but Max was lying on the bed face down, and his ‘cousin’ was lying on him, holding him around the chest. The cousin’s face was on the other side of Max’s head, which was why Cody couldn’t see his full view except for his hair, back, ass and legs. Cody’s entire body raged, a fire gushed through his veins, and numerous volcanoes erupted in his head. He screamed, and Max giggled. The next moment, the video was cut, and Max was offline again.

Cody: “Who the fucking bitch is that with you? Does your ‘cousin’ always act like that? I don’t do that with my cousins…”

Max: “Chill. Kiddo. Just an old hangover. Reminiscing with him tonight. Go out with your other mates instead.”

Cody’s eyes couldn't believe Max could write such dirty words to him. ‘What does he think of me? Am I some random passerby? Anyone to hire? An escort?’ Cody’s eyes filled with tears.

Max: “Kiddo. Just chill. I know you are angry with me, but he is just my cousin, nothing more. Don’t take it otherwise.”

This line soothed Cody a little, but he was still angry. He couldn’t deny what his eyes showed him that night. Max went offline and was sending him chats, and Cody could not connect through video anymore. Cody’s lips were silent, but not his heart. He turned to get up from the bed and found Joe standing at the door. They stared at each other, and Cody controlled the emotions on his face. His screams had attracted Joe.

---

“I hope you are alright.”

“I am… I think so… until I start shouting again.” Cody giggled, trying to calm his emotions.

Joseph smiled at Cody’s statement. He was correct. Cody looked silent but he wasn’t inside. Joe knew the cause and dragging a chair near to the bed, he sat down. Cody looked at him.

Joseph talked and grumbled for quite a long while. He sounded as if he had a hell of a lot of information and conversation to share with his roommate, who he missed for quite a long time. In between, he hinted for Cody to stay away from whoever he was dating.

“He doesn’t seem to be a nice person. He’s not good for you. I think you need to give more time to enrich your chemistry and to understand each other better.” He sighed and looked at Cody, waiting for his reaction, “I feel you are behaving immaturely.”

Cody laughed, showing his disinterest in the topic, and excusing himself so he could go to sleep, he switched off the lights. Joe left the room for his own.

But from the next day things turned around as Joseph expected. Cody cursed and sulked, but things were getting out of hand. His teenage mind could not bear all the angst. Max was behaving as though he did not know him. Max never glanced back, ignored him all day while in college, which was fine, but he didn’t bother to pick up Cody afterwards, even if he was staying at home.

Max didn’t behave like he was avoiding Cody, more like a dumped boyfriend, but he always seemed to have a valid reason not to see Cody. On the other hand, innocent-hearted Cody couldn't oppose or argue with Max to his face. though he rambled about everything on their chat thread, Skype or through messages. Some of them went unread, but it helped Cody to calm down his raging heart.

But… things had changed and were still changing. First and foremost among them was, Cody had got out of the habit of sleeping alone, exhausted, without Max, which was the worst addiction for him.

Joe was always there to listen to Cody. But when things started getting worse, Cody yelled at him. Cursing the witch and magician, whose words were coming true, because his love life had gone wrong. Still Joseph stayed with Cody and consoled him, telling him he was wrong, and he didn’t need to go hyper about it. Just being friends, he didn’t want him to be unhappy. “I am your friend. I want you to be happy and in safe hands.”

“Don’t worry about me. I am an adult and can make decisions for myself. Just go away,” and Cody pushed him out from his room.

Disappointed Joseph went off to his own room, closing the door. Cody stayed on his bed until the evening, waiting for Max to come online. Another week passed and they hadn’t met, talked or chatted for even a minute. Anxiety was filling his heart.

Later that night Joseph came in to see him again. “I have asked for another apartment for myself, until then, I need to stay here.”

“Oh, I am sorry. Don’t leave. You can stay here with me.” Cody took hold of Joe’s hand. Cody smiled, innocence reflected in his eyes, as usual. “I just cannot bear anyone coming between us… I just love him beyond anything.”

Joseph smiled. “Thank you. I would love to stay here with you.” he plastered a smile to his face and stretched it wide. “I know you are feeling bad… and sometimes, I feel I am becoming too nosey about your love life…?” he arched his eyebrows anticipating a response.

Cody nodded and smiled. “You are my good friend. And you worry about me… I know everything, but there’s something I cannot bear between us… he is just so damn sexy… I love him frantically,” he flushed and his cheeks went pink. Joseph stared at him for a while before Cody’s lips parted fora deep sigh. Joseph smiled and walked away from the bed. Cody continued “Hey, I hope you know I adore our friendship, but there is something about him I cannot resist… he is my Prince Charming, and when anyone asks me to stay away from him, I feel like that guy is coming in between our love… like an old movie villain.” An innocent smile floated on his lips. His face brimmed with desire and satisfaction, thinking of a night’s love.

“I am not coming between your love… I was scared you were perhaps being used…” Joseph’s fear showed in his words. He smiled joining with Cody, “I want you to be safe… you are vulnerable and naïve through and through. Your heart… could very easily be trapped…”

“Gosh don’t say it like that…” Cody giggled and blushed, “you are talking like him…” He forced himself to stop talking while he thought. He didn’t know what other secrets would be revealed to Joseph. “Okay… making a long story short… I am a grown up… I can take care of myself… but more importantly he is not like others… he loves me more than I love him…”

“But you are watching how he is behaving with you recently, right?”

“Right. But my heart knows it is having some unavoidable trouble, and everything will be resolved soon… he said so.” Pouting, Cody shrugged his shoulders, hoping things would improve before too long.

“I hope so.” Joseph grinned, turned to close the door and leaned against it. “I know you are grown up… but I feel… you cannot judge wrong from right yet… or I am trying to be overly protective.” He halted. He forced himself to stop his mumbling. His gestures showed he wasn’t hurt after being pushed away by Cody, but was being over precautious not to misjudge him. “It’s your life, after all.” He smiled. It was fake, and they both knew it.

“Hun, it’s nothing like that. I adore what you say… but you cannot understand this relationship… perhaps because you are not gay…” And a long silence filled the room.

“I can understand you.” Joseph was crisp and harsh. “But you cannot understand me.” Then he left the room, slamming the door behind him.

Cody watched his friend walking away, from his position face down on the bed. He didn’t bother to stop him or to utter a single word. There was nothing left to say.

“I love you… you know this.” Max’s message flashed on his phone. And the lost smile returned to Cody’s lips. He floated high with the night’s intoxicating lust. He sighed and closed his eyes, his body was tired from lack of sleep. He recalled their first night, when his sweet bastard boyfriend had fucked him all night for the first time. Afterwards, his back ached and his ass was sore.

It was a hard fuck all night. The harder the fuck, the more Max enjoyed it. So did Cody. He sighed and turned over on the bed, reliving that night’s incident. Arching his back and lifting his ass. He giggled at his actions, but everything was meaningless without the bastard’s love. He sighed and drifted off to sleep, dreaming about his seduction by Max.

At last he slept

The friend was gone.

The door was open

And there was nothing left to steal…
