How to Lose an Alpha in ten days: An Mpreg Romance by Swift, W. Mae, Stellys, Ashton (6)

Ben

I took Andy to my favorite little lobster shack down on East Broadway and ordered us two of the largest crustaceans they had. The mood inside the restaurant was casual. I wanted to make sure Andy wasn’t a complete psychopath before I endured a whole ten days with him. I figured if he could get down with a little stinky lobster, beer and the Knicks game playing in the background, then these ten days would be a synch.

We sat around the plastic table in plastic patio chairs, wearing lobster bibs as we cracked open the hard claws, messily pulling out the fresh meat and talking a little bit about ourselves.

“So, what do you think?” I asked Andy boldly, while licking butter off my fingers.

“About the food or you?” I liked the way Andy teased me, it made things fun.

“Both,” I played along.

“The food is great,” he pulled out a nice slab of meat from the tail and plopped it in his mouth then took a chug of beer. “And you…I’m still deciding.”

“Anything I can do to help?” I asked thoughtfully, I had to remember this was about him falling in love with me, not just some one-night stand.

“How about you answer some questions?” He pushed a loose curl awkwardly off his face with the back of hand and I noticed his adorable little dimples for the first time.

“‘Some’ sounds indefinite,” I joked, “How about three?”

“Alright,” he played along, “what do you do for work?”

“Advertising, mostly beer and sports products, trying to break into the jewelry market as we speak.” I laughed secretly in my head, he didn’t know it was literally as we spoke.

“Ah yes, saving the world one beer keg and baseball bat at a time,” Andy mocked.

“And you?”

“I work at Glam-O.”

“Ah yes, saving the world one desperate omega at a time,” I joked back.

He reached out and slapped my arm, “Hey! We’re not desperate.”

“Maybe not all of you, but you have to admit most of you are obsessive and in need of attention from a strong alpha,” I raised a brow asking him to challenge me.

He rolled his eyes ignoring my statement; he knew there was truth behind it. “Alright, what about kids?”

“Kids?” I was shocked by his boldness. “That’s a little early, don’t you think?”

“It’s just a question,” he pursed his slim cherry red lips.

I paused a moment, love is about honesty, and I took a deep breath, “I’ve always wanted kids but I had an accident on my bike years ago. The doctor said I might never be able to reproduce, so I’ve never tried.”

Andy’s blue eyes seemed to soften, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know.”

“It’s okay,” I was happy I went with honesty. Andy was going to be head over heels in no time with a sensitive answer like that. “You still have one question,” I carried on trying to move past the kid topic. I had accepted it so long ago, but it still hurt sometimes when it came to my attention.

He paused looking up in thought, then he leaned in towards me. I bowed my head slightly to meet his gaze. I could see butter shining off his lips and for the first time I noticed his sweet cherry pie scent.

He smirked devilishly before asking his final question, “True or false, all is fair in love and war?”

I took a moment and thought of my own current situation. “True,” I answered honestly once again.

He smiled, “Good answer.”

“Good question,” I smiled back.

The conversation came to a wrap and our plates were clean. Without a second thought we squared up and headed back to my apartment.

Once we arrived, Andy excused himself to use the washroom. While he was freshening up I cracked open two fresh beers and began lighting candles to set the mood. I put on some Barry White then realized I had to plant the seed of love not lust. I blew out the candles and switched the music to something more classical. Diamonds are not a one-night stand, they are forever, and that was the mood I had to set.

I walked through my bedroom to meet Andy coming out of the bathroom. He looked sexy in his low cut, silk dress shirt. I passed him a beer and watched him slide onto my bed temptingly. He patted the empty spot next to him, inviting me to join him. I knew if I sat on the bed beside him and smelt his intoxicatingly sweet cherry pie scent I wouldn’t be able to control myself. I stayed leaning against the table and patted the empty spot next to me.

Andy ignored my gesture and insisted I come to him on the bed. I couldn’t have a one-night stand with Andy, my career was depending on it, so I patted the empty seat next to me again. Reluctantly he lifted himself off the bed and came to join me at the table.

We sat awkwardly for a moment, sipping our beers, perched on the table. I had to show self-control if I was going to make this omega fall for me. I drummed my fingers to the music. Normally I would have made my move by now, I wasn’t sure what to do without having sex and the tension was beginning to grow between us.

Regardless of what I was thinking, Andy was not on the same page. He slipped his hand up my thigh and began kissing me heavily. Saying no was hard. I gently pushed him away and my fingers accidentally brushed over top his smooth bare chest. Pressure started to build in my groin.

“It’s too fast,” I told him.

“You’re right, you’re right,” He agreed and he removed his hand from my thigh. Another moment passed and he threw himself at me again. This time he slipped his tongue between my lips as he softly ran his hands over my chest, but I pulled back again.

“Too fast, I know,” Andy said again as he leaned back against the table. The heat between us was too strong at this point to deny and I gave in, wrapping my arms around the back of his neck. I kissed him long and hard.
