Adrianna Valdez’s POV
I opened my eyes and glanced around. I was in Damien’s bedroom, and his arms were wrapped tightly around me.
My eyes strayed to his face, followed by his tan, muscular chest. I flushed and wriggled my way out and quickly dressed.
I couldn’t believe I had slept with Damien. I really was sharing a bed with him now. However, I didn’t regret it. The entire night, Damien had been insatiable, waking me up at least four times or more. I blushed at my thoughts as I smoothed down my dress.
“Where are you going, my darling?” Damien asked sleepily as he watched me.
My heart pounded as I took in Damien’s appearance. His hair was mussed up, his gorgeous blue eyes stared at me, and he had some stubble on his jaws.
“I will be going back to Olivia’s home.”
“Why? I want my girlfriend in bed now,” Damien said sleepily.
“I’m not your girlfriend!” I said quickly.
“You said yes last night,” Damien said smirking.
“I was not myself,” I said hastily as I flushed.
Damien gave me a sexy grin. “You sure were not. I did not know that you could be so wild in bed. You are a screamer.”
I glanced away and to control my blush. “Shut up. Anyway, I take it back. You are not my boyfriend. I am not your girlfriend, and we are not dating. You are not even my type.”
“I am not your type? I am everyone’s type,” Damien said arrogantly, and I scoffed.
“Well, you are not mine.”
Damien frowned. “Then what is your type?”
“Someone who is caring, thoughtful and very handsome. He must also be someone who is faithful. That is why you are not my type,” I said coolly.
Damien scoffed and turned away. “I am caring, thoughtful, and very, very good looking. And I can be faithful.”
I rolled my eyes and scoffed. “You are none of the above.” I still felt upset with Damien and the phone call from his ex-mistress.
“Kaden is, though. He is very caring and thoughtful. And Laura says he is a faithful person. And I find him very good looking.” I know it was wrong, but I wanted him to be riled up.
“You should not even be thinking of that… that—the English! You slept with me, not him, even though he wanted you. I am very sure he was only nice to you because he wanted to sleep with you.” Damien snapped. His body posture was rigid with tension.
Now, I was feeling pretty insulted. I glared at him. “So are you implying that I am easy? And those men only want to sleep with me?”
Damien seemed to realize what he had said. “No! That-that is not what I meant.”
I pursed my lips. “It is, is it not? Well, goodbye! I am going to ask Kaden to sleep with me now.” I stalked towards the door angrily, but a hand grabbed my arm. Damien cornered me against the wall.
“I’m sorry. I did not mean what I said. And you cannot sleep with anyone else except me.” With that, he kissed me forcefully, and I tried to resist but couldn’t. My eyes closed, and I kissed him back.

When I woke up again, naked, sated and in Damien’s arms, I sighed to myself.
What was I doing? How could I be so weak?
I cursed inwardly and bit my lip. It should be illegal for Damien to have such an effect on me. Just because he kissed me, it doesn’t mean that he owned me.
It was even worse when my traitorous body recognized his touch and longed for it.
I glanced down at Damien sleeping and sighed. He looked like an angel. But he was a devil in bed.
Earlier, I had lied.
To me, Kaden was pretty cute, but Damien was very good looking. He could be caring and thoughtful at times, but I didn’t know if he could be faithful. Right now, I could just be a challenge to him, but what if he was bored with me? I would just be another notch among others on his bedpost.
I flushed at that thought and climbed out of his bed, hoping that he would not be awake.
I slowly lifted his heavy arm off my waist, hurriedly dressed and left.
I really needed some alone time to figure out what was wrong with me and what to do about Damien.
