Damien Doukas’ POV

I opened my eyes and frowned. What the hell was the time? The sky was bright, and the house was silent.

My eyes landed on Adrianna who was snuggled up to me, and I smirked. She was gorgeous and naked in my arms. Her hair was wild and messed up, but she never looked more beautiful.

I was surprised, though, that Sofia and Leila’s plan worked even if it didn’t go exactly as planned. I reached out to brush a strand of Adrianna’s hair back and my shoulders and ached. What the hell happened?

I stood up gently, making sure not to wake up Adrianna, and tried to glance at my back from the full-length mirror in the room. A smirk curved onto my face as I noticed the numerous red angry scratches on my back and shoulder areas.

Who knew under all that prim and properness, Adrianna was such a screamer and a wild lover? Certainly not me. I smirked, remembering the way Adrianna had responded last night when I had teased her senselessly.

Adrianna shifted on the bed, and I caught sight of the marks I left on her shoulders and neck. Good, that ought to tell everyone else that she belongs to me and to back off. I grin satisfactorily to myself.

“Damien, what are you doing? What time is it?” she asked sleepily and ran her fingers through her hair.

I smirked at her and joined her on the bed. “It is now eight in the morning, and we have overslept for our date.”

A small smile had crossed Adrianna’s face before it turned to horror. “What has happened to your back?” She gasped, and I smirked at her suggestively.

“You did,” I stated with a shrug and a grin.

Her eyes widened. “You are lying! I never scratched you, did I?”

“You did when both of us were naked, and you were screaming, and I was—”

“Okay! I get it,” she interrupted, and her face flamed. I smirked, wrapped my arms around her and planted kisses on her neck.

“You liked it, did you not?” I murmured against her neck, and she shivered.

“L-liked what?” she stuttered and moaned softly as I kissed the hollow spot behind her ear. My fingers trailed down her sides to the top of her thighs, and her breathing became irregular.

Her hands grabbed my shoulders as she started panting. I smirked against her neck. “Did you liked how we shared bed last night? And how I made you—”

“Y-y-yes. I-I did,” she stuttered, and I gave her a smirk.

“That is good.” I pulled away from her and grinned rakishly at her.

She gave me a frown. “Why did you stop?”

I opened my mouth to answer when a voice called out, “Adri? May I come in? I need your help to take care of Trevor.”

Before we could do anything, the door bursts open and Olivia walked in and continued, “And I’m going out—oh. Oh! Oh, my God. Oh. Uhm-I-I-I’m so sorry, uh…” Olivia’s face turned red, and she stammered as she caught sight of us and averted her eyes away from us.

It was a good thing that Adrianna and I were covered by the sheets before Olivia walked in. Adrianna’s face flamed, and she buried her head under the covers. “Oh, God!” She groaned into my neck, and I gave a smirk to Olivia.

“Hey.”

“Um-uh… I… Oh, my God. I really am sorry. I’m going to go now.” She rushed out and turned to leave when another voice piped out.

“Are you done? Trevor is getting restless, and we have to leave soon. Did Adrianna say yes? Why are you standing here?” Drake demanded and walked in. His eyes widened, and a smirk came onto his face. “Oh, wow. Olivia, I didn’t know you get off on seeing others in bed. We could join them now if—”

“Drake Mitchell Henderson!” Olivia interrupted with a blushing face, pulled him out of the room and closed the door firmly.

Adrianna pushed the covers away, and she squeaked. “Oh my god, I have never felt so embarrassed in my whole life!” She hurriedly got out of the bed, ignoring my protests, and slipped on a robe and walked around the room and started ranting.

I lay on the bed, my head resting on my hands and watched as Adrianna continued to rant on how she could never speak to Olivia or Drake with a straight face ever again and so on. My eyes moved across her slim legs, curvy body, and her dark curly hair that became light brown when sunlight hit them.

“And I will never be able to—”

Honestly, I did not know what was so bad about being caught. And I had missed most of Adrianna’s rant as I was busy lusting after her. I got out of the bed and pressed my lips against hers. Adrianna froze before she melted against me and kissed me back.

I pulled away from her and gave her a grin. “Okay, how about you and I get dressed, and we head out for a date like we were supposed to? And at the same time, we can avoid both Drake and Olivia.”

Adrianna nodded her head, and a smile crossed her face. “All right then. Please get out so you and I could change, and we can head off.”

I frowned and opened my mouth to argue. Why the hell do I have to leave when she was changing? We were together, are we not?

“Out or we won’t be able to go out at all.” Adrianna narrowed her eyes, and I rolled my eyes.

“Fine. Wear something sexy.” I gave a smirk, and she blushed. I grabbed my boxers and left for my room.

“Oh, good, there you are. I thought you and Adrianna would be going for another round,” Drake said casually, and I smirked. “If I had it my way, we would.”

Drake laughed before becoming serious. “Look, Damien. What are your intentions with Adrianna?”

I scowled at him, annoyed. “How the hell is that any of your business?” He couldn’t be interested in Adrianna, could he? He was married to Olivia.

Drake glared at me before sighing. “I know what you’re thinking. I love Olivia with all my heart. Adrianna is like a younger sister to me. She’s been through a lot, and if you’re just playing around with her, she’ll be crushed. I’m just looking out for her.”

I grunted. “I am not playing around. I-I really like her. She is… different,” I admitted with a smile on my face.

Drake scrutinized me before nodding his head. “Fine. But if you fucking hurt her, I’ll come after you. Get it?”

“Yes, yes, I understand.” I waved him off and grabbed a pair of jeans.

“Good. Now, can I ask you and Adrianna to watch over Trevor today? We have to run some errands and stuff—”

“What? We are going to have a date right now,” I said and shrugged on a shirt.

“You owe me a favor. I had to see my best friend and a woman I treat as my younger sister in bed together.”

I smirked. “Well, I hoped you enjoyed the show.”

Drake grunted in disgust. “Fuck off. I’ll pass Trevor to you, and you can go off with Adrianna.” With that, he left the room.

I shrugged and quickly buttoned up my shirt, slipped on my shoes and opened the door to see Olivia blushing as she held Trevor and quickly shrugged on my suit.

“Um, here you go. Um, uh… well, if Trevor fusses or anything, pass him to Adri. She knows what to do,” Olivia said and avoided my gaze with a blush as she passed Trevor to me.

“Look, Damien, I swear if you hurt my best friend. I will hunt you down, and I will kill you,” she said seriously, and I knew that she was.

“I promise I would not hurt her.”

Olivia could be scary if she wanted to. She gave me a brilliant smile before she kissed Trevor on his forehead. “All right then. Bye, Damien. Bye, baby.”

I cradled Trevor in my arms and knocked on Adrianna’s door. I had an idea where to bring Adrianna to our first date.

Adrianna opened the door, and my jaw dropped. She had taken my joke about dressing sexily seriously.

She was wearing a black long-sleeved lacy dress that reached mid-thigh. The dress hugged her curves, and I could feel a headache forming in my skull. When had she bought this? She would be attracting so much male attention!

“Is this okay?” she asked and gave me a smile before noticing Trevor in my arms. “Oh, what is he doing here?”

“We are going to take him along with us. Drake and Olivia are not free today,” I said as Adrianna took him out of my arms and carried him gently while smiling at him. “Do you really have to wear that dress?” I asked narrowing my eyes at it.

Adrianna frowned in confusion. “Why? What is wrong with it? Is it not appropriate?” she asked worriedly.

Argh to hell with the dress being revealing, Adrianna looked gorgeous and sexy. This was probably the first date she ever went on ever since her fiancé had died. She should feel confident and not insecure about her looks. I would just have to deal with the male attention that she would be receiving.

I sighed and stared at the dress before smirking. “Nothing, never mind. You look beautiful. I just want to ravish you right here and right now.”

Adrianna laughed and smiled at me, her right arm cradling Trevor. “You look really handsome. Shall we go?”

I grinned charmingly and took her left arm. “We shall.”
