I chuckled. “Nope, this is Jackson. Jackson, meet Hillary,” I said, introducing them.
He was checking her out discreetly, and I smiled when I saw her do the same.
“Nice to meet you,” he said, shaking her hand.
“Same here,” she said, clearing her throat when he wouldn’t let go of her hand.
Jackson blinked and pulled his hand away. “Sorry,” he muttered.
I smiled. “Hillary, would you grab me the box from last time? I need to get some paperwork from there.”
She nodded and turned on her heel, walking off. Jackson stared at her with narrowed eyes.
“What do you think of Hillary, Jackson?”
“She’s interesting,” he said, frowning a bit.
I laughed. “Has the great Jackson finally met the one?”
He rolled his eyes. “No, she’s not my type.”
