Chapter 1
The noises from the other room kept the man still. He listened to his wife making sounds that he had never been able to conjure. She sounded like she was in heaven and he was on the outside looking in. He didn’t need to see what the two women were doing anymore, he already knew.
He already knew with the first time he had let her go with someone else, that there was something missing in their marriage. While he had always thought their sex life was good, the truth was, she wanted more. Tony started to wonder if she deserved more, if she actually deserved more than he was able to give. The first time he had wondered, but now, he was sure that it was the case. He was not enough to please this wild woman and he was going to lose her.
Tony wanted to go to her, go to the woman he loved and join in her fun. The problem was, he knew he would ruin it and make it awkward. They did not want him in there and with the size of the toys that they were using, he knew he was not needed. How could he compete with rubber and men with flesh between their legs that should be reserved for horses? He had been weighed and measured and found lacking. It crushed the man and he knew now why Lisa wasn’t happy.

It hadn’t started the way it ended. Tony and his wife Lisa, had met years ago while in school. Lisa was studying finance and economics, while he was trying to start a career in design. They were soon young and in love. The two were never apart and they decided to get married after graduation. There were talks of children and a large family. Tony had five other brothers and sisters, so he wanted a big family like the one he had grown up in. There was something special about a big family and he was ready to get started on his own as soon as possible.
Lisa felt a little differently, especially as an only child, but she was willing to have a few to make her husband happy. Family was all he talked about and she found herself warming up to the idea of motherhood. Her career meant a lot to her, but she assured herself that even with children, she would be able to have it all.
As time went on though, a pregnancy was not in the cards. They “tried” almost every night, but nothing came to fruition. Then the two started to argue about it. Tony felt that she was trying to stop it, that she was even taking birth control without him knowing it. The accusations hurt Lisa and she started to pull away. His words cut like a knife and she started to wonder if something was wrong with her. Three years later, there was still not even a hint of pregnancy and she internalized his words.
The happy couple became strangers living in a house together. Some nights they barely even talked over dinner and some nights, they both pretended sleep to not have to engage in sex. What had started as hot and hard fucking had turned into a sentence. There was very little romance and it became more routine as time went on. It was the same way all the time, missionary. Lisa was bored and Tony was as well.
“I don’t know what you want me to say. Are you serious?”
“Yes, just try it. It will tell you when you are ovulating and then we will know the best time to have sex.”
“I don’t know Tony. It just all seems so clinical. I want us to make love because we want to, not because a little stick tells us too.”
“I know Lisa, but if we want to have children, we need to try something new. What we are doing, is just not working.”
“I know and you think it is my fault.”
“I am not blaming anyone. I just want to start my family before I am forty.”
“We are both twenty-four, I think you are being a bit dramatic.”
“Am I? It has been three years and nothing Lisa. What if there really is something wrong?”
“With me right?”
“No, it could be me. If you don’t want to try this, will you go with me to a specialist and see what they say?”
“What if I can’t have children?”
“Then we will deal with it. I love you more than life itself and I will always love you no matter what.”
“Okay, if that is what you want, I will find a fertility specialist and we will get some testing done.”
“Thank you baby. I love you so much.”
Tony hugged his wife and that night the sex was better than it had ever been. He was not distracted with thought of babies and fertility, all he had on his mind was making love to his wife. That was the first night that Lisa squirted and the man felt a pride surge in him like the first night they were together. He wondered if she faked it sometimes, but there was no way to deny her pleasure that night.

The two sat nervously in the plush chairs in front of the doctor’s huge mahogany desk. There was nothing to look at but the row of awards and diplomas on the wall. They waited nervously for their results and when Lisa saw the man’s face, she knew that it was not going to be good. She hoped for a moment that it wasn’t her. She knew that Tony would always hold it against her, but was not as apt for blame.
“I am sorry to tell you this, but you are not able to have children Mrs. Cross. You do not have any viable eggs and you will never have any. You are basically born with what you have and it seems, you were born without any at all.”
The words were crushing to the woman, but when she looked over at Tony, she knew that he was devastated. He would have to make the choice of staying or leaving. He had always promised to stay and never leave her, but would he when he realized that she was barren? Could he actually give up his biggest singular dream of a big family?

He could and he did, though it was hard. The two people had been married for fifteen years and things were going in a whole different direction than they could have at first imagined. While everyone around them started families and the struggle that came with it, Tony and Lisa were able to live a lifestyle that many of their friends could not. Lisa had become the Finance Director for a larger business, while Tony was the head of the design company he worked for.
Between the two, they brought home more money than they could spend. There were no constraints on their time, so for a month each year, the couple traveled the world together. On the outside, the couple lived the American dream, but on the inside, things were a lot different. While they loved each other, there was something missing. The age old saying was true. They loved each other, but they were no longer in love with each other.
There was also a slow-down in their sex life. Now that the two knew they could not have children, there was less need to have it. This is not to say that the two did not still have incredible sex, it was just less incredible and less often. Lisa especially was finding herself more and more unhappy with their sex life, so she started to suggest that the couple try new things. She even talked about bringing another person into the mix, but while she thought of bringing in another man, Tony had visions of another woman.
The couple decided to go out one night to a private swinger’s party. They had spoken about adding some spice to their relationship, but neither had spoken of it as they got ready. Both had a different idea of what they wanted to happen, though neither one put it into words.
Tony watched Lisa dress carefully. She wore some of her sexier lingerie underneath a tight black dress. He found himself attracted to her more in that moment. Maybe it was because she was getting ready for someone else, but it had been a long time since she had dressed that way for him.
The party they were planning to go to that night was the final step in their new swinging lifestyle. They had started with a few chatrooms and then graduated to the “cam community.” It was exhilarating to make love to each other while strangers watched from afar, but now they were going to try it in person, or maybe even with another person.
This was not the first swingers party they had went to, but it seemed like both were ready to take the parties to the next level. Before, they had watched other fuck, some strangers, some other couples, but they had never really participated before.
“Are you ready my love?”
Lisa smiled at him through the mirror as she finished applying her makeup. She did love him and she knew that after all these years, he loved her. There was an excitement in the air that was palpable to them both. The walked to the car, arm in arm, but both were filled with nervousness. Lisa was hoping that tonight was the night that they added a third. She knew there was more to these parties and the last one had left her wanting more.
Lisa always brought in attention when she went to the parties and Tony was not surprised. He had been surprised that she had agreed to dance with a rather large black man the week before though. The man’s hands were all over his woman and while he felt a pang of jealousy, he also felt pride that she was so desirable. The man was smitten with her and probably wanted more, but after the dance was done, she had come back to him. That night there was an extra passion in their lovemaking and Tony knew that it was because of the dance with the dark man.
The party that night was a success and they saw many of the same people there as before. A particular couple that they had spoken to in the past was there and the two decided to bring them home. It was another magical night, though they experienced it in separate rooms. Instead of having a foursome, the two couples swapped and went into adjacent rooms. Even buried in the tall redhead below him, Tony could not block out the sweet sounds his wife made. Jealousy came back to him and he was not fully able to enjoy the woman. He knew that next time they brought someone home, he wanted it to be done together and maybe only one person.
