Chapter 6

That irritating mood, when someone is annoying you knowingly. Cody was sitting in the corner-most chair of the library, reading a novel. His current passion was soaked in a professor falling for his student. This story was all about it. He was at the climax, where the professor had tucked the girl into bed. He lay over her and two burning lips met… Impatience tore into him. What would happen next? He turned the page and there was the next chapter. “Shit” he shouted aloud, attracting the attention of everyone in the library. Cody was aroused and it was clear from the lust floating in his eyes. He stared at the couple sitting before him, who were doing all kinds of acts only to irritate him. Their sneaky glances at Cody, and his act were nonstop. He turned the pages back and forth and checked the same page, he might have turned two pages together, but he was wrong. The book was finished. He forgot he was reading a book from the college library, which would only have romantic books, a chaste kiss on virginal lips. Nothing more. ‘Bleh, how the hell are we to learn the ways of our wily professors.’ He sulked and slid the book across the table.

Now the couple was glancing back to Cody, wondering what happened. He was sitting in the library for the last twenty minutes reading this book and the chapter ended just as it consumed him with suspense. He had no one to talk to, basically no one to shed light on the intricate games of sex and seduction, which was a bloody annoyance. He yelled, “Joe,” and yes, his roomie was sitting exactly before him with his new girlfriend. The lady was the same one who had approached Cody a few days before. So Joe had a new girlfriend on the campus and she was once Cody’s admirer. ‘Abbie!’ he finally remembered her name. Certainly, she sounded desperate that day. Joseph was probably best to calm her teenager self’s wanton needs. Still, ‘Quiet. Quick!’

Joe shrugged to annoy more and, making his book stand before his face, reaching for Abbie’s hair and pulling gently, he tugged at her hair and pulled her face behind the book together with his, and gave her a big and loud kiss. This echoed in the silent hall for a few seconds. Cody was aghast and amused at the same moment. The girl blushed and shied away. Cody figured out it was only to fool him, because no one could kiss anyone properly so loud.

Still, Cody sighed deeply and impulsively as his lips were yearning for his first kiss. Standing with shoulders drooped, he walked deeper into the library where it was overcrowded with bookshelves bulging with books. Reading the tags and murmuring what he needed, he finally settled before the ‘ROMANCE JUNKIE’ section. Or as Cody liked to think, ‘the loser’s guide to finding love in a warped and unrealistic storyline.’ His graveyard would be around. Looking along the shelves, he checked a few books and finally took one centuries old love letter collection. Dusting it off, he turned the pages and the antiquity mixed with the pure bliss filled his nostrils. He got what he was looking for, ages before.

Smiling, Cody walked back to his table and there he found Joe and Abbie were missing. Perhaps they left for more horizontal activities, to do more intimate things after a kiss. He sat back on his chair, turning pages safely, so as not to tear them. The first letter was before him and Cody was drenched deep, with letters inscribed with a nib pen written in the cursive alphabet. His fingers touched them, but they were printed not hand written. While he completed one line, he felt a cold finger tapping his neck, he turned back immediately and found Maximus walking towards the shelves. Cody stared at the sexy bum walking away from him, and with a flick of his head Max turned, winked, and called him over with a gesture of his finger.

Tons of lust floated onto Cody’s tongue. He looked all around, and he was alone, then and there. Furtively, he shifted his chair, without making a noise, and followed Max who was by now, lost in between the big, heavy, wooden shelves. Cody sneaked behind the shelves and there was no one there. Hurriedly, he paced between the stands of shelves, and found a shadow walking further along to the other side of the library. Still, walking deep within the shelves that day, Cody realized how big the library was, stuffed with so many shelves, back to back. Cody strode with the longest possible steps and finally saw Max’s shoes, then Max was lost again behind another shelf. ‘Shit! What is he doing to me?’ Murmuring Cody almost ran. And Max, taking a turn, came back to the same shelf. Cody giggled on the childish play, ‘Damn, this bastard is playing with me.’ He laughed and chased after him. He liked how a professor was being so amusing with him. Cody ran towards where he saw him run, but Max spotted him and ran farther from him still. This time he went back behind another shelf. Cody ran and saw Max’s back running still deeper away. He laughed, “Wait. Why are you making me to do this?” He heard Max’s wolfish laugh, but without replying, Max was lost. Cody huffed at his place and sprinted back. “I will hunt you down this time.” Cody went to the shelf where he last saw Max, but he wasn’t there. Cody turned in all directions, but there was no Max. He stared at the shelves overfilled with books. Cursing, hissing, huffing, he reclined his neck on the shelf. The poor boy was left with no energy to chase that bastard professor.

“I want to ravish your lustful body.” Max’s husky voice suddenly whispered into Cody’s ear, his warm melting exhales were brushing Cody’s neck, and his face, lowering down to Cody’s chest with every passing second, was tantalizing him. How could Cody not recognize it? His body shuddered with a bad, warm, impatient breath on Cody’s neck. “Bastard. Fucking gorgeous bastard!” His lips muttered, it didn’t bother whether or not he heard Cody. But at the same time, Cody’s knees were becoming weak for him. ‘Don’t you want the same with him?’ Cody screamed inside. Cody bit his lips to keep the moans from escaping, lowered down against the bookshelf, forcing himself to get away from Max. Cody knew he was dying to hear this from him. Since Max laid his lustful eyes on him, Cody slid a little more but had run out of shelves. Turning he was cornered, his nose hit the concrete wall. There was no escape for him. Max had him trapped. Cody didn’t want it either. Max sighed, making Cody’s heart race. He felt encaged, abducted, raped and he loved each of the feelings. ‘Gosh! Don’t behave like me. Kiss me. Nibble my earlobes, hold me through my waist, lift me up, and glue me to your chest.’ His heart screamed. Max was closing in and Cody was feeling the exhales becoming hotter.

Quickly, Cody turned on his heels, his nose rubbing with Max’s they were so close. His sharp, shining, sweet eyes were different today. Red lines of lust were floating into those wolfishly glinting eyes. Cody was prey for them. ‘Fuck me! I wanted to be.’ The room was lit, over-bright for them. Shouldn’t they be in a slightly darker part of the varsity? Cody felt vulnerable, as if all eyes were on them. Cody stared at Max’s face, which was transfixed on Cody’s lips. Cody double-checked with his fate, ‘How could you be so lucky for him. But wait, is he really gay? Could he be? What about all those many girls stalking him like bitches and witches? What about those lady staff members arranging their shifts around him?’ Cody bet he was not. Alas! How could he deny a proposal from him? The tempest. The sweetest. And he was what Cody so desperately sought too.

Cody sighed and shuddered together. His impulsive breaths fell directly from his lips. And Cody sought Max’s attention. Max winked at him, while Cody was burrowing into the wall. He couldn’t push himself deeper, further from him. He surrendered on Max’s mercy, which he wasn’t looking for. ‘Lawd, can’t he be cruelest and pin me here, directly to the wall. Lifting me in his muscular arms and wrapping my legs round his hips.’ Cody’s mind was sprinting like a horse around a race course.

Max’s eyes glanced down at Cody’s lips and cheeks. His cheeks were flushed bright red. Cody bet he was crimson. But he couldn’t think to move. Max towered over Cody, pressing him into that corner. Not a single space left to move away. Cody’s shoes raised one above the other, toes curling, hovering, and not knowing what to do. He could not climb up the wall. ‘Someone save me. But. Please. Wait. Don’t save me.’ Cody purred at the same time. Max’s sharp cologne and dirty, masculine sweat coming from his underarms, inebriated Cody even as his hands were raised, as Max was covering and pinning Cody from both sides. ‘Make me dirty! Soak me in that sweat.’ Cody’s eyes screamed at him, and he heard every one of those words. And then he was lowering down over Cody, on his lips. He hid his face in his palms.

‘Lawd, the dream can come true, and it’s in this corner of the university library.’ He whimpered, though he didn’t want Max to stop. Of course, he had striking features, but he in no way looked gay. And Cody wanted to shower his first kiss on his first love. But, Max was irresistible. So close, Cody could feel his nostrils, flaring lust on his palms. He was that close! ‘Is he that close? Just an inch across my palm? I am wet.’

Cody heard his grunt. And his brain sparked again. ‘Am I heading to ruin my college? Am I his one shot toy? Just a lust for him? Push him away.’ Cody’s heart beat wildly. He peered through his two fingers and Max’s damn, fucking, gorgeous, wolfishly smiling lips were before him. Cody bit his lips automatically . They shuddered themselves. He couldn’t save himself at any cost. ‘Shut up bitch. I DO NOT want to save myself.’

During all the quandaries running through Cody’s head, Max put his hand over his thumping heart. And Cody went silent. His mind. His heart. His body. All went silent. Only his heart pounding in his ribcage. His body trembling. His hands dropped down from his face. Eyes closed, lips quivering, anticipating Max’s touching them at any time, and cheeks flushed red. Max’s hand ran down to Cody’s waist.

Feeling his trembling and burning skin through the cotton T-shirt, he pulled Cody closer, “You are making me insane… impatient… provoking the beast in me…” his soft but husky words echoed in Cody’s ear, making his head swim. Eyes closed, he relaxed in Max’s grip. Soft and light like a doll, vulnerable and yielding, yet hungry like a wolf. “What the fuck are you?” muttering, Max’s fingers lifted his t-shirt and Cody felt his fingers tingling over his stomach. “Fuck! How hot are you?”

“Exactly! How hot are you?” Cody whispered back. Max lowered his body more and his cheeks touched Cody’s. He rubbed slightly over them and Max’s finely trimmed beard tingled against Cody’s chin. Cody’s face was reclining back, he was forcing himself as far away as he could, but in very slow motion. The tug of war, of stay and go, was struggling in his heart. Though he couldn’t let himself sway away, as Max gripped his waist tightly. His left hand’s calloused fingers digging deep while holding him near, whereas his right hand’s finger were playing, swirling around on his stomach. “Let me go, please,” Cody pleaded unwontedly.

“Don’t deceive yourself.” Murmuring, Max rested his cheek on Cody’s. Lust was weighing his head down and there was no more space at Cody’s back. Finally, Cody’s head rested on the wall. He was snuggled in that uncomfortable position, buried underneath the hot and heavy weight of Max. Though Cody loved that nearness, it was what he had begged for so long. “Your eyes were stalking me everywhere… in them, I have seen lust for me… tell me if I am wrong?” Max rubbed his beard over Cody’s lips.

‘Fuck you! He is teasing me. And this manliness of him is harassing me,’ “No…” Cody lied, his heart cursed him for this. It thumped heavy and then went silent due to this deception. The moment Cody spoke, he realized he lost what he was praying for all those nights. Max could be all his right away. Their lips, tracing each other in the most passionate way. But, Max’s sassiness killed it. “Just an infatuation I feel.” Cody cursed against Max’s lips, lying to him. “You are smart and this is all that attracts me towards you.” ‘He is a fucking, gorgeous, Greek God-like hunk. Don’t lie you son of a bitch’. Cody’s heart raged. He exhaled sharply. But the bastard wasn’t ready to let him go, or to make his eyes understand they read him wrong.

Carefully, Max pushed all his bodyweight over Cody, who whimpered and moaned, then a deep breath escaped from his mouth. ‘Damn. He will kill me tonight.’ Max’s heavy body was enough to break Cody’s reluctance. His thighs were covering half of his body, all buried beneath him. His big dick was pushing hard into him. Cody exhaled and relaxed himself. All he could do was accept what his heart really wanted.

“Why resist? Why not flow along with the temptation? With what the heart wants?” Max raised Cody’s face with a finger on his chin. Shyly, Cody looked into the glinting eyes of the bastard who wanted to consume him, all of him. Not able to believe in his fate, he couldn’t believe the man he loved could love him back. ‘Lawd! I will die in his hold if he keeps staring at me with those eyes.’ His face was red from flushing and he wanted to hide away. Max knew who his heart was racing for. He smirked back. “We want the same thing, don’t we? The company of each other forever…?” His confidence filled the pit-holes in Cody’s heart. He looked back at him full of innocence and love.

‘No one knows my secret wishes buried in my soul. I never shared. I never told anyone. I cannot take the risk.’ Cody stared back at the bastard’s lips. They were still smirking and he felt a thirst to consume them. ‘Why doesn’t my heart say yes?’ he sulked. ‘Perhaps I am not sure what I want? This man? Another man? Or someone else?’

“You want me to nail you right away, don’t you?” Pressing his bulge into him, Max growled. His deep, husky voice was enough to melt Cody.

Cody giggled in his most beguiling tone. He couldn’t believe anyone would be wooing him, or that he would be so fucking handsome. This reality was too dreamlike to accept. He could almost swoon. Tentatively, behind his thick eyelashes Cody stared coyly at Max’s face. He didn’t dare do anything else, even when he was so near and wanted to do everything with him. A moment later, Cody saw a human shadow on the floor, increasing in size with every step. Someone was approaching them, almost at their side. He tried to push Max away, but failed to move that muscular bastard an inch.

But it was now too late. He could hear the sound of boots on the marble floor. The shadow had found them. Cody saw a black shining shoe, a male, ‘Jesus, what if any of my friends catch me like this? What if it’s my roommate! Fuck.’ He tried again. But he failed. Huffing, he looked at Max with pleading eyes. A last step and the other figure was before them. It was Drake, looking strangely at them. ‘Fuck this is the worst!’ Both were surprised to see Drake. A moment passed while they figured out who was more shocked among the three.

Max’s grip loosened and Cody pushed him away with all his might, then he ran away, slipping between both men, averting any eye contact with Drake. He ran back into the main library, and hid down another aisle of bookshelves. He wished these shelves could swallow him whole, or disappear into the floor or the sky. But the feeling of guilt, at being caught by Drake in such a shameless position, was eating him up. Controlling his breathing, he slowly shifted one book, and making a very small space through which he sneaked a look at them.

Max and Drake were talking. Their gestures suggested they were arguing with each other. ‘Are they disclosing their secrets, or are they talking about me?’ Max grinned and patted at Drake’s chest. ‘Consoling?’

Drake smirked, shook hands, and patted Max on his biceps. They really looked quite happy and to Cody, it was as if Drake was accepting Max’s sexuality. They gave a fist bump, and Max gave a sharper smile turning towards Cody. Cody knew they couldn’t see him hidden behind the books, so he was frozen at his place, spying on them. Max turned his head back to Drake. They were still talking, and smiling at each other.

Cody smirked and felt more engrossed in Drake’s personality. ‘How understanding?’ Handsome face, heart, and soul. He recalled his first impression of Drake and he smiled, resting his forehead on the books in front of him, enjoying the lovely conversation among them. He blushed. Drake was attractive, but he felt he had lost his heart to Max after his macho approach. ‘Lawd, a man should be like Max. Claim what he wants.’ He flushed, his eyes were wet with tears of love.

Cody adored Drake’s attitude. ‘He is such a lovely professor. Not a bad one too.’ He smirked about his own thoughts and put pressure on whatever he was resting. The books couldn’t bear his weight and they fell to the side. A chain reaction began and all the books on that shelf started falling down. Shocked he stood straight and found both professors were looking straight at him. He was caught spying on them. They smirked together. He flushed and ran outside upon hearing their sharp laughter.

“Hey Kiddo,” Max smirked at Cody. Cody came out from his English lecture hall and there was Max, flashing his wolfish smile. “Why did you run away from the library?”

“I was scared.” Cody trembled, recalling Drake’s confused stare. Cody knew Drake was his first crush on the campus.

“You shouldn’t be. I was there to save you from everyone.”

“I know... But Drake makes my heart race.” Cody shied away.

“Damn! I thought I did.” Max hissed. Irritation clearly etched on to his face.

“Yes, you…too. But I met Drake first, when I arrived at the campus…” Cody spoke humbly.

“What have you two done… together?” Holding Cody’s biceps from the both sides, Max dragged him. Cody was almost pulled up on his toes. A sharp pain ran across his skin and he became afraid. Max’s voice was controlled but irritated.

The rough voice, sudden flick in the behavior, and powerful grip on his biceps, forced tears into Cody eyes. “What do you mean by this? He is my professor, like you and he is handsome like a devil. No one matches him.” A rough and scorning accent puked out of Cody’s mouth. ‘How could this rascal doubt on me… us?’ his heart constricted with hatred as he stood beside him. He lowered his head, his tears fell to the floor.

Max stood rooted to the spot for some time and then chased after Cody, who was striding away by then. “Hey, kiddo, sweetie, I didn’t mean it. Don’t walk away like that.” Max ran in front of Cody and seeing his eyes full of tears, his face filled with remorse. “I am sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel sorry, or ugly, or anything… just, you don’t know people around here…” Exhaling deeply, Max forced a smile on his face, but Cody was still looking down, “I am sorry. You want me to hold my tears before everyone.” Max grimaced. “Smile now.” Cody attempted a smile despite his wet cheeks. “Now wipe away your tears… like a good baby boy,” Max tickled on Cody’s cheeks.

Like a brat, Cody wiped his tears and walked away. “Never ever talk to me like this again.” he warned Max.

Everything was new, both Cody’s growling, and Max’s listening to the growl.
