I took a sleeping pill the minute I got out of the shower at home and crawled into bed. The sheets were cold and soft against my heated skin. Turning on my side, I let out a long breath and closed my eyes. Parks upset me because of who I felt like he could be. Sleep rolled in, and I gracefully released myself to the security it offered.
