Into Your Hurricane by Jillian Elizabeth (9)

STEPPING OUT OF the shower, I quickly dry off so I can go find Andrea. Walking into my room, I see her laying on my bed facing away from me. Seeing the time on my alarm clock confuses me. She is supposed to be in class right now, why is she here? She was crying before she came and I don't know why, I will find out though.

Wrapping my towel around my waist, I climb into bed and pull her back to my front, wrapping my arms around her. “Baby,” I whisper in her ear.

She sniffles and lets out a deep breath.

“Sweetheart, talk to me. Please, baby. What happened at school to have you number one, here instead of there, and number two, clearly upset and emotional,” I plead. She knows.

She turns over, the tears streaming down her face breaks me. I reach out to cup her face and wipe her tears. Laying my forehead to hers, while I cup her cheek I plead with her. “Baby, I don't know how to make it better if you don't tell me.”

“You don't still see Marissa, do you?”

Taken back, I blink a few times. How does she know? “No baby, not since I met you. I haven't talked to her nor have I seen her,” I say softly. I need to keep her, I'm a shit for lying but I can't lose her.

“When I got to class, I put my stuff down and went to the bathroom before class started. When I came out and was washing my hands, there was a beautiful blonde at the counter putting on lipstick,” she says, taking a deep breath. “She asked if I was Andrea, your Andrea. She was nice at first and introduced herself to me. But then she got really cold, Trent. She told me she knew about the baby and accused me of pulling a stunt to keep you,” she says as more tears stream down my face.

Hiccuping, she continues. “She said that you still talk a lot and that you had dinner together last week after class and lunch today,” she says, looking up to me with pleading eyes. I know what she is pleading, she wants me to confirm that Marissa is full of it.

Rage courses through me that she decided to confront Andrea when I told her I was done playing them both. Of course she was upset, but this….

Wiping her tears, I look her right in the eyes so that I hope she can see I am being honest with her. I need her to believe me, I won't have Marissa ruining this for me. Even though it's my own damn fault.

“Baby, I would never do that. Yes, she and I were cordial to each other, but that is all. Since I met you, the only woman I have spent any time with is you. I would never hurt you that way sweetheart, please know that,” I plead.

Nodding her head and letting out the breath she was apparently holding, she launches herself into my arms. “I didn't think she was telling the truth, but I still had to know. I hate how she made me feel, I hate how she got to me and knew it,” she says on a sob. Fuck.

Shushing her and holding her tightly in my arms, I just run my hands through her hair.

“She told me that I need to know what I am up against. She heard about you being a daddy from her roommate, that waitress at Slots,” she mumbles into my chest. “She said you told her all about it at lunch today too… and after.”

Realization dawns on me. She must be talking about that waitress that Brad set straight. She didn't tell me she already knew when I told her myself today. She didn't really care either while she was climbing my lap. I didn't seem to care while I let her take my cock for a fantastic ride either. Throwing my head back and grinding my jaw, I remain quiet. I'm sure the fact I am trembling with rage is what causes her to look up at me. I can't look at her right now, I'm a lying piece of shit.

“Don't worry, sweetheart. I will make sure that Marissa doesn't bother you again,” I tell her.

“Trent, babe, what are you planning? I don't like it. Just leave it alone, please, I don't think she will bother me again,” she tries to convince me. I know she hates confrontation, it's part of what's made it so easy to keep Marissa on the side.

Rubbing my nose to hers and smiling, I let her win this one. I finally look at her and give her what she wants to see, that I’m not a liar. She doesn't have to know about my little conversation I will be having with Marissa soon enough. Just keep your dick out of it this time.

“Oh, she also said that you would come back to her when you are tired of playing house with me, when I lose my figure, or my charade gets old. She says you will always be hers and that I can't tame you, that you're untamable,” she says with her eyes twinkling with laughter. She's testing what I might say.

Turning her over and laying on top of her, I breathe in the smell of her hair. Roses and coconut, that's how she always smells to me. “Oh baby, I’m far from tame. But I’m only after one woman who keeps my wild side so satisfied,” I tell her, wiggling my eyebrows. Shit, I need to keep this wild side in better check.

Laughing she throws her head back as I nibble on her neck.

“I think I should demonstrate just how wild you make me, baby. Just how much I love this body and heart. I am yours, and nothing will keep me from you,” I tell her, moving up to her ear and nibbling.

Moaning, she tilts her head and whispers, “Yes, Trent, I believe you. I don't want to doubt us again. But we are still so new, I guess it's easy sometimes for doubt to creep in.”

“Oh, sweetheart, no one has ever made me feel the way you do. I love you, Andrea. I love you so much it hurts sometimes. I knew I would keep you, and one day we would have a family. Fate just had a way of taking it a little faster,” I say, kissing her laughing.

Giggling, she kisses me back.

Crisis averted. Glad now I washed Marissa from me before she got here.

Pulling my shirt over my head, I look down at the most beautiful woman, the key to my future. My whole world is in this bed right now. No more Marissa asshole. Too risky. But shit, I don't know if I can.

“Let me show you, baby. Let me show you everything you mean to me. But first, I want you rested. What I have planned for you, you are going to most definitely need energy for,” I say, rolling to my side and pulling her with me.

I may be a dog, but I can't give both of them my cock on the same day.

Scrunching her forehead in disappointment, she kisses my chest and snuggles her face down.

Taking a deep breath, she settles into me.

It isn't long before I feel her breathing even out to slow and steady. My poor exhausted baby is fast asleep. I just take a deep breath and think of how to talk to Marissa again to keep her ass quiet. Preferably sticking my cock down her throat.

“Sweet dreams, my angel,” I whisper into her hair.

The drive to meet my parents is quiet. I know she is sitting next to me working her mind into overdrive about our talk with my parents. I still hope she isn't thinking about the Marissa stuff. I need to be more careful. Taking her hand in mine I squeeze it gently.

“Don't worry so much, baby. My parents love you and know how happy you make me. Yes, they may try and pressure us into taking our vows sooner rather than down the road, but that's just because they are old fashioned,” I tell her gently.

She turns to me and smiles slightly. Sighing she runs her fingers up and down my arm. “I don't want to just get married right now just because we are having a baby, Trent. I still want to keep our relationship going without that added pressure that we need that to confirm our love. Yes, someday I do want to marry you, but right now and just because of our situation? No. No, I can't do that,” she says, shaking her head.

Pulling her hand to my mouth, I kiss it tenderly. “I know, sweet angel, I know. We don't have to take that step right now. This is our life and no one else’s. Yes, they want what's best for us, always. But that doesn't mean they are right.”

Smiling sweetly at me, she leans up and kisses my cheek. “We can move in together, and when we are ready for that next step, we will take it. I'm not going to be waddling down an aisle to be Mrs. Trent Zito. I will do it when I can be the gorgeous bride I always envisioned I would be.”

“Angel, you will always be beautiful no matter what. But I want you to have the special day you always envisioned,” I tell her seriously.

Tears well in her eyes. “I love you so much babe, I really do.”

She's what will make people see the up and coming serious attorney. The pretty little proper wife.

Pulling up to The Olive Garden, I get out and walk around the car to let Andrea out. Pulling her to me quickly, I wrap my hands in her hair and kiss her tenderly.

Moaning, she grips my shirt tightly before pulling back to look in my eyes.

“What was that for, handsome?” she asks.

“Just wanting you to know that no matter what happens in there,” I say pointing to the restaurant, “it's just you and me, always and forever baby. And when we leave here, I'm making up for last night.”

Tugging my hand toward the door smiling, she is flushed and I can see she has a little more confidence than she had moments ago.
