Homecoming Queen by Kerry Watts (8)

Chapter Nine

Annie didn't know if it was the moonlight and the emotions of the past few days but she wanted Danny to fuck her right then, right there on top of the wall. Sex is a great stress reliever she'd been told but hadn't felt the proof yet. Maybe tonight she would. Annie gripped Danny close to her and his hands caressed every part of her. The ringing of her phone from the grass behind them began to distract her. This was the third time it had rung. Paul chose a shit time to finally show he cared.

“Ignore it,” Danny's words were urgent but the constant noise niggled away at her.

“Stop, Danny; I have to answer it.” Annie tried to wriggle free from his grasp. “He'll just keep trying, I know he will.”

She pushed his chest but Danny was unwilling to end their liaison.

“Come on, babe; I'll take your mind off it.” He reached for the button on his jeans then began to unbutton Annie's shirt with one hand while his other squeezed down the front of her trousers, skimming the top of her panties before she slapped his chest and raised her voice to protest.

“Danny, I said stop. I have to talk to Paul.”

“No, you don't.” Danny gripped Annie's hands and pinned them down onto the top of the wall and aggressively kissed her neck while she struggled to get free.

Annie realised that the situation could escalate into something more serious and panicked.

“Danny, please don't do this,” she whispered in his ear, “please.”

Danny continued to claw at her clothes as tears began to trickle from her eyes. He had her legs open and she was pinned in position by the weight of his body. Annie couldn't believe what was happening. Annie's shirt lay open to reveal her black lace bra, which accelerated Danny's lust as he fondled her breasts roughly.

“You want this as much as I do,” he growled, his words urgent and gravelly. “Stop being such a fucking tease. You never used to be so coy, did you, in the back of the van, remember.”

Annie wondered if she just went along with Danny's plan would she be able to get away, but something inside Annie Marshall screamed no way.

“If you don't stop I'm going to scream, I mean it.”

“If that's what gets you off, babe…”

Annie struggled while Danny tore at her trousers, then screamed as loud as she could which only seemed to turn Danny on more.

“Whoa, babe,” was the last thing Annie heard him say as he was yanked backwards and forced to the ground.

Billy Lawson had heard Annie's scream and rushed to her aid.

“If you know what's good for you, Danny Randall, you will get your sorry arse up off that ground and run along home before I change my mind about kicking the shit out of you.”

Annie watched Danny put his hands up in submission before scuttling off along the farm track without looking back. She attempted to adjust the button on her shirt but her hands wouldn't stop trembling. She stared blankly at Billy, unable to speak.

“Are you ok?” Billy spoke quietly. “Come on, you need a drink, and you're in shock.”

Annie's body was rooted to the spot.

Billy held out his hand which Annie slowly reached for. “It's okay, Danny's gone.”

Annie felt safe in Billy's warm hand as she followed him into his cottage.

“You sit down; I'll get us a couple of beers.”

As shock morphed into anger, Annie wanted to storm straight to Danny's to confront him. How dare he? Who the hell did he think he was? If she said no, she meant no.

“There you go, get that down you.”

“Thanks.”

Billy sat down close to Annie on the sofa and nodded. “No problem, I'm glad I saw what was happening. I don't believe he would have gone through with it. He's a bastard when he's had a drink but…”

Annie's eyes widened. “Well it bloody felt like he was about to…”

“Listen, I'm sorry.” Billy downed a large mouthful from his bottle. “He's a sad bastard, especially since Laura left and took the kids.”

“Boohoo, not,” Annie retorted and drank at least half of her beer.

“I've never met a woman who drinks so much like a man as you do.” Billy's eyes met Annie's while he laughed.

As if his words were some kind of challenge, Annie lifted the bottle to her lips and swallowed down the second half. She banged the empty bottle down on his table and exhaled loudly, never taking her eyes off Billy throughout.

“Impressive,” he complimented her then guzzled his down in one and placed the empty bottle next to hers.

The sexual spark between them was lit. Billy leaned over and kissed Annie's lips gently then pulled back quickly.

“I'm sorry; I shouldn't have done that.”

Billy sat back on the sofa and rested both of his hands on his head and exhaled a long sigh. In that moment, Annie didn't see the huge, rugged, ripped farm worker, Billy Lawson; instead, she saw the most vulnerable sexy man she'd ever met.

“Yes, you should,” she told him and positioned herself over his thighs, rippling and muscular beneath his shorts and kissed him sensually on his mouth, her tongue deep and probing.

Billy took hold of Annie's tiny waist in his large hands before allowing them to drift onto her bum to pull her closer to him. Annie caressed his neck with her fingers and felt his erection grow beneath her. She wanted to feel him inside her so badly she ached. Billy's firm grip of her body turned her on more with every second and she reached for the button of his shorts but his hand on hers came as a surprise.

“Wait, Annie.” His voice was deep and husky. “Is this a good idea?”

Annie didn't know whether to be offended or grateful to him for stopping her from making another mistake, but she so wanted to rip his shorts open and take his length inside her. Without uttering a word in response, she leaned back down and kissed him hard and bit his lip playfully and she felt him grow even bigger. He likes a touch of pain she realised and Annie was more than happy to oblige.

“If you're sure,” Billy moaned while he unbuttoned her shirt to again reveal the black lacy bra he'd accidentally had a flash of earlier. This time it was there for him to touch. It was there for him to remove. With one hand, he unclipped it and threw it away, revealing Annie's small pert breasts which he cupped gently in his hands as she was finally permitted to open his shorts. He let out a sigh of pleasure as Annie took his bulging erection in her hands and stroked his length firmly with her hand.

It wasn't long before Annie was on her back with her long, slim legs wrapped firmly around Billy in complete ecstasy. She wasn't wrong about everything about Billy Lawson being huge. She gave herself to him totally and without inhibition. Annie came quickly and powerfully in a way she had never experienced before and cried out when the pleasure tore through her entire body. They both lay silently, only the sound of slow, panting breath between them.

2 July 1996

This past week has been awful. I haven't been able to see Danny at all. I know he needs me but he can't see me, not yet. I didn't go to Lisa's funeral. Dad told me I wouldn't be welcome so I better stay at home. The police questioned me about my relationship with Danny but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The woman PC was quite sympathetic, and explained that I wasn't in any kind of trouble and that Lisa's death was going to be recorded as a suicide. The police were just following procedure.

As if all this wasn't bad enough, I have something I desperately need to tell him. I've done two tests and they were both positive. I can't believe it. I'm pregnant with Danny's baby. The timing could not be worse but he needs to know. The Roberts have been standing guard at the house. To stop me seeing Danny, I bet. They've been there every day. I'm not telling Kate about the baby yet. She'll tell Craig because she doesn't want to risk losing him by keeping any more secrets. She told me he was so angry that she kept our secret from him all that time. I'm not even going to tell Betty, and I'm certainly not going to tell Dad. God, I wish Mum was here. She would understand and she would support me, I know she would. It's such a fucking mess. What the hell am I going to do? If I don't see Danny soon I think I might die, too. I phoned Auntie Rita and she said I can go and stay with her for a few days although she doesn't know about the baby. I did tell her about Danny but she didn't judge me. I think it would probably be for the best if I went away for a bit; give Danny some space to get his head straight. I don't want to be without him but I might have to. For a few days, at least.
