Billionaire Desire: A Billionaire Romance by Lauren Wood (23)

Hail

I sighed out loud. For a moment, I believed that we were finally going to get started, but I didn’t want it to be this way. I had something perfect planned in my head and I wasn’t going to be able to accept anything less than that. It just wasn’t going to be possible. I wanted all of her, sure, but we were going to sit and have dinner, anticipate the long night ahead of us, because if I had a say in it, it was going to be a very long night.

“Why don’t we have some dinner and then we can talk about what happens next?”

She pouted for a moment and I kissed the frown off of her lips.

“You don’t think it’s worth the wait?”

“I didn’t say that. I just don’t understand why you want to wait.”

“I don’t. If you knew how badly I wanted to jerk your dress up and slam inside of you, then you wouldn’t question it. I just want this to be right for you. You’re going to remember this night for the rest of our lives, so I want it to be worth it. For both of us.”

She looked away and I could see that she was embarrassed. I wanted to tell her that there was no need to be embarrassed, but it wouldn’t do me any good. I knew that. They only thing that was going to do us any good was to take it slow.

“And it is certainly not something that I want to ‘get over with’.”

Evony didn’t say anything while I poured her a glass of wine. She was certainly interested in that though and she took several sips before she set it back down and looked back at me like she was going to smile a little brighter.

I brought the food to the table and wondered if I was making a mistake. What if Evony decided that she wanted to change her mind and I was now not going to get what I wanted. I pressed my lips to hers after I brought her plate, just so that I could tell myself that I was going to still have her. She was still mine, right in front of me and I didn’t have to rush. I didn’t want to. A woman like Evony should be enjoyed thoroughly and fully, and nothing else was going to do.

We sat across from each other and though the table wasn’t that wide, it felt like she was a mile away. After confessions and the kiss, the anticipation that I wanted so badly, was now choking the room and I was unable to figure out what to say or do next. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be. Nothing ever was.

My plate was empty, but all Evony had done was picked at hers. I knew that she had a lot on her mind, so that meant that we were going to have to move this along. She didn’t want to have dessert or a few drinks. She’d barely touched anything, and I couldn’t get her to meet my gaze. Even when I talked to her, she looked down. I was going to lose her and her decision if I didn’t change the script. This one wasn’t working. The night of romance wasn’t going to happen. I was going to have to do something else.

“Why don’t we go upstairs, and we can watch something?”

She was almost relieved when I suggested it and it told me that all of this time, her nerves were just as shot as mine were. She was ready to get this over with, as she’d put it, but I don’t think that is what she meant. Evony wanted to get it started, at least that is what I hoped that she meant, because that was how it was going to be. I had a long night of delights and tasting her that were not going to be cut short. Not this time.

I stood up when she did, and I grabbed my drink. After a moment, she’d grabbed her own, before I got the bottle and started up the stairs. I didn’t know how many there were, until tonight. That is how badly I wanted to get my mind off of what happened next. There was twenty-four steps.

When we got to the stop of the stairs, she paused for a moment and I knew that I was going to have to get her over the next hump. I could imagine that Evony was nervous, whereas I was just ready. So damn ready.

I tugged on her hand just a little bit to get her moving again. I knew that she wanted this. All she had to do was just come with me and I was going to give her everything that she needed. Being her first was a big responsibility that I was going to take to heart. That’s what I needed to do.

“Come on Evony. Just a little bit further.”

Her eyes finally met mine for a moment and the clear blue of them, called to me. This is what she wanted. As nervous as I was, seeing that expression on her face and the need that took over her, it was the answer that was needed. I needed to know that she was going to be okay with everything, no matter how complicated it got. My own needs were rising up inside of me at a rate that was impossible to ignore, but I didn’t want to. I just had to tone it down enough until the first time was down.

We stopped in front of the bed and that look of being trapped was back. Evony’s eyes were so full of expressions and I could watch the different emotions playing out on her face. She was overthinking it and before I could really consider what I was doing, I was pulling her in for a kiss. I hoped that it would settle her nerves and give her the courage that she needed.

I felt her body sag against mine and then I heard the smallest little moan that I think I’d ever heard before and I knew that she was mine. It was a sound of pure submission and it really did something to me. As much as I like to think that I was able to get over it, I don’t know if I was going to be able to get over Evony. Or if I even wanted to. Opening her was going to be the highlight of it all, I could just tell that it was going to be great.

“Let’s get you onto the bed Evony. It feels like your knees are going to go out.”

She giggled and I knew that I was only saying that half in jest. Her body was shaking, and I was starting to as well. Why was there so much pressure all of a sudden? Was I afraid that I was going to do it wrong or something? I don’t really know. All I knew was I wanted her in bed, underneath me and then I could relax. Then I would be able to pull myself together, no matter how hard it was going to be.

I pushed her back, gently onto the bed and she scooted up like I was going to get in beside her. I had no intentions on doing that. I pulled my shirt off and climbed over her like I had before. This was how it was supposed to be. She was supposed to be underneath me, where I could feel her small body writhing underneath mine and I was able to feel every inch of her. It was more than I could handle and before I was able to really get it together, she was pulling me down for another kiss. Her courage was back, and I don’t know if it was a good thing or not.

Taking my lips away from hers, I was able to get a breath of air for a moment. It was hard to concentrate when she was looking at me in the way that she was. I tried my best to slow down, but I caught myself pulling her skirt up, so that my hands could find her panties and figure out the state of them. I wanted them to be as wet, as I was hard.

When I found the sticky fabric that was stuck to her lips, I knew that this was finally going to be the time. I could have finished her off like I had before, but that wasn’t going to be enough. I liked to believe that it wasn’t going to be enough for either one of us.

“God, you’re so wet Evony. I didn’t think you’d be this wet.”

Her eyes closed as I pressed against her tight little button. She gasped when I started to rub it a little more, but I didn’t let it go too far. I didn’t want her to come, not yet.

“Sit up so that we can get this dress off of you. I will unzip it.”

Her eyes fluttered open and again I could see into the depths of her soul. She was trusting me with this, with her, and I was going to make sure that I didn’t disappoint her. I knew that I just couldn’t. This wasn’t going to be a one-time thing. This was the start of something great. I could feel it deep down in my gut.

My hands were shaking a bit when I unzipped her dress and started to pull it down her shoulders. I didn’t stop until it was a puddle of fabric, kicked off the edge of the bed and before long, I was moving back up her body. I wanted to taste her all over again, but I knew that I might not be able to control myself if I did. There was something about her taste that did something to me.

I sat back on my heels and watched her body move as I traced my finger up and down her leg. I wanted to drink in the sight of her, like she was the last drop of water in the desert. She was beautiful and my need was taking over. I slipped off the bed and pulled my pants down, so that they joined her clothing at the end of the bed.

When I started to move back towards her, Evony’s eyes were no longer on mine. She was full of fear suddenly and I knew I had to calm myself, even if it was impossible. I wasn’t going to be able to lessen part of me. Every second that she looked at my cock like that, I was unable to help, but get a little harder. Which meant I had less blood in my brain, which couldn’t be good.
