Claiming Chastity: A Fake Marriage Romance by Tia Siren, Candy Stone (11)

Chapter 11

Allen

I woke up the next morning to the alarm in my room, blinking as I looked around. Nicole went into the guest room last night, and I sat up with dread as I wondered if she’d left. She could always catch a cab to her apartment, but then I remembered that she gave her sister the money from Ricky. Their apartment wasn’t safe, but I’d worry about that later.

I got up and pulled on some shorts to go check the other room, and was reassured seeing her curled up in the bed. I looked at her, thinking how beautiful she was. She seemed sweet but still very shy. The most I saw of her was with her sister last night, and the love between them filled the room.

I felt my cock twitch as I remembered the way she looked at me when I took the chastity belt off. She had her skirt pulled up, and I saw the little pink lace underwear she had on as I tossed the belt on the couch with the key. I never wanted to see one of those ever again. I hated watching her drop the material back around her thighs, but the heat between us filled the room as our eyes locked.

I wasn’t going to start anything yet, but fuck if I didn’t want her. Even in all her innocence, Nicole was one of the sexiest women that I’d ever seen. I needed to get to the station, so I left her sleeping and wrote a note for her to eat anything she wanted and to make herself at home. I dressed in jeans and a t-shirt just in case we needed to go do anything other than talking to the captain.

I thought about when I first saw her walking across the street when I went to pick her up. Nicole was stunning and would be even if she didn’t have her hair and makeup done. She looked at me shyly the entire time that she walked, and I knew that I’d done the right thing. I just didn’t know what was going to happen from here. I got into my car and headed to work, moving on to the search that would be happening today. I saw Brandon pulling in at the same time, and we walked in together, quiet as we went to the captain’s office.

He was on the phone and gestured for us to sit as he finished the call. He looked both tired and wired at the same time, and I wondered if he made that double caffeinated coffee again as I glanced at his cup. He hung up the phone and jotted something down on the notepad in front of him.

“They have everything together and are going in just a little bit. It’s early but you boys gave me enough to go on. I think we’ll find plenty in the search.” He looked at us. “That was everything. Nothing else you can think of?”

Brandon shook his head, and I did the same after he nudged me with his arm. I leaned back in my chair, trying to relax.

“It was pretty obvious to us what was going on in there. I think you’ll be fine,” Brandon offered as he glanced at me.

“We got everything down for you. I can add that it seems like they’ve been doing it for a while,” I said.

The captain looked at me. He appeared ragged with his graying hair sticking up, and I knew that he’d be approaching retirement soon. He had to be in his late fifties and had been with the force since he was in his early twenties.

“Good. Here’s a new file for you guys to look through. New case. I’ll keep you posted on the club. Good work.”

I left first, guilt coursing through me as I breathed in the office air. I was never the bad cop before this, or even in life. I always followed the rules.

“Want to look this file over at lunch? I don’t think we’re needed here,” Brandon asked looking at me. “I think you need some fresh air.”

“I’ll say.”

We greeted a few of the guys coming in as we walked out to his car. We slid inside, and he asked if the diner was good with me. I nodded and held onto the folder as we drove off, not caring about the new case. I was lost in thought, wondering if they’d find anything out about Nicole and how she was purchased, or by whom. Ricky had never asked my name since he only seemed to care about the money.

As we drove down the main strip to the restaurant, I wondered what she was doing. After parking in the restaurant lot, we got out and headed inside. We took our usual booth in the back and ordered coffee as Brandon took the file to look it over.

“Drug case. It’s been a while.”

“Yeah,” I replied, not paying much attention to him.

“Are you okay?” he asked. “You’re really sweating this.”

“I’ve never wanted to go off track, Brandon. What if I lose my job?”

“How is she doing?” he asked.

“Her name is Nicole. She’s beautiful and shy and has a sister here. They seem close.” I shrugged. “Her walls are built up high. I don’t know what to do.”

“It’s just her first night. She’s probably terrified. Was she okay when you got her?” His face was concerned.

“She wasn’t harmed. I think she stayed in a hotel.” I glanced across the restaurant to see the woman that was with her yesterday walking in with a guy. I watched her as they sat down, wondering who she was to the club since Ricky spoke to her as well. “That woman was with her yesterday.”

Brandon looked over and took her in for a moment. “She doesn’t look familiar from the club that night.”

“No, but she knows the guy on the stage.” I kept looking at her, seeing her smile as the man leaned across the table to kiss her. “I wonder if she’ll get busted in the search.”

“If she works there, she deserves to,” he said.

I looked down to sip my coffee. I knew that she was friends with Nicole somehow and wondered how it would affect her if the woman was busted in the search. I didn’t know what she’d say when she found out I had a hand in bringing the place down. I didn’t think she would be angry about that. But she’d probably be upset with the fact I hadn’t mentioned I was an undercover police officer yet.

“You should take her out to dinner or something.”

I looked blankly at him for a moment. “What?”

“Nicole. Break the ice a little bit.”

“Yeah, that’s a good idea,” I said as the regular waitress came by, and we ordered our usual burgers.

We looked over the files, discussing the drug sales near a school and neighborhood that the residents were starting to complain about. Parents were worried that kids would get hurt, which I could understand. Our assignment was to look into the group to see who was doing it. Get to know some of the dealers by buying drugs from them. That way, we could bust all of them and not just the few who were caught in the act. The police force spent most of their time trying to clean up the parts of Vegas that were bad for the citizens that lived here and didn’t want to be a part of the crime. It was busy work, and I read the report as I reached for a French fry on my plate.

“I think this will be easy. Remember that other group we got a year ago?” I asked.

Brandon nodded. They’d been easy to get to know and then arrest, even though they wouldn’t get hard time since it was their first time busted for dealing.

“Yeah. That was a short one and given the time frame, it might be the same guys. We’ll have to find out or else we’ll be recognized.”

He looked at me, and I nodded. That was the problem with being undercover.

“You said that she has a sister?” Brandon asked as interest crossed his face. “Younger or older?”

“I think she’s younger, and Nicole is twenty-eight. She’s blonde. Bleach blonde.” I shot him a curious glance and then chuckled. “Let me get Nicole used to me first, Bran. Step back.”

He laughed. “It might help you out if we get along.”

“We’ll see. I need to take her to dinner tonight and see if she actually likes me,” I said. “This isn’t the usual dating ritual.”

“Not at all, but it will be a good story to tell your kids later,” he said, making me laugh.

We finished lunch and went back to the station to look up the current group of drug dealers versus the one that we busted before and found this was a whole new group of teenagers. They probably went to the local high school, and since most of the schools were near each other, it bled into the younger set. We took that seriously.

I used the phone to call my house, letting it go to the answering machine before I started talking. Nicole picked it up, and I grinned in relief hearing her voice.

“I was thinking that we could go to dinner tonight. Sound good?”

“Sure. I might have to go back to my apartment and get something to wear.”

I felt my cock twitch. “You could wear that dress I picked you up in,” I said in an attempt to flirt.

She laughed. “I never want to wear that again. There was nothing to it.”

“I noticed,” I told her in a low voice as I practically heard her blushing. “You can take my car to get something when I get home. Do you have a license?”

“Yeah, we both do. Just no car,” she replied.

“I’ll see you in a few hours then,” I said, making a mental note to help her with the car situation.

She agreed and hung up. I turned back to Brandon, who was looking at me with a grin.

“That sounded positive,” he said, leaning forward. “What did the dress look like?”

“You don’t need to know,” I told him as I leaned back and laughed.

We finished planning our strategy for the following day on how to approach the kids, and I stood to leave. I heard the captain call us over to his office, and we went after sharing a long glance.

“They got him,” the captain said. “Do you guys know a man named Ricky?”

I nodded. I wouldn’t tell him how much I knew about Ricky and offered that I thought he was running the auction.

The captain nodded. “He’s been running that for a year. He isn’t good about full names but we have something to go on.”

“That’s great,” I said.

He nodded and read something on his phone. We told him we’d see him the next day with some news on the drug case and headed out so I could get home and let Nicole use the car. It was weird to have someone at home waiting for me. I never had that before, and it wasn’t a bad thing.

I drove home wondering when I was going to tell her I was a cop and brought down the club. I wondered if her friend would get arrested for anything as well and sat in the garage for a moment before going inside.

I liked that Nicole had gotten up and made some food and seemed comfortable as she read the paper in yoga pants and a t-shirt. She smiled at me, looking uncertain of what to do before I gave her the keys to the car.
