I'm finally ten years old my parents have been telling me all week that there's something they want to give me since I'm getting older that I deserve to know who my real family are.
I been knowing that I was adopted since I was eight that's when they decided to tell me but they said I had to wait until I was ten to find out about my real family I'm a bit nervous and excited all at the same time. I walk down the stairs, and I hear my parents talking while I walk into the living room, and they both stop looking and smiling at me.
“Happy birthday sweetheart.” They say in unison.
“Thank you.” I said with a smile. My dad patted his hand on the couch for me to sit. I walked over sitting down on the couch.
“Sweetheart, you know you’re ten years old, and we told you when you turn ten you will learn about who your family is everything you need to know is in this envelope this is completely your choice on what you want to do if you would like to meet them or not it's all up to you.”
My Dad hands me a brown envelope. I look up at them and smile I got up and walk back to my bedroom. I take a deep breath and open the envelope the first thing I saw was a picture of me as a baby with Morgan and Felix. That can't be right. I grab the letter I open it and took another deep breath.
Dear Erika,
Hi sweet cheeks you probably have a lot of questions right now and I hope I can answer at least some of them in this letter that I wrote before we decided to put you up for adoption to keep you safe. My name is Morgan and I'm your grandpa your parents died the day you was born it was a rough and stormy night. Me and your godfather raised you until you turned one and your godfather is Felix. I know you must be freaking out if you know that name but just know this we love you so much and we would do anything for you. You probably hear a lot of things about the Scorpions bad things but we do it to protect our home and family that's what the Scorpions are a family. And you are apart of that family you are a Scorpion but I understand if you want no part of that and it won't upset me at all. I hope that I can meet you one day so does your godfather. If you’re ever in trouble there's a bar you can go to you will be safe there it's the Scorpions bar. Always stay in Scorpion’s territory you will always be safe if you don't leave. If you ever want to meet me or us just write a letter and we will meet up. You will always be a Scorpion even if you’re not a part of the MC you’re our family and we protect our own. We love you much sweet cheeks.

Holy crap I'm part of the Scorpions that's crazy I don't know what to do or think right now I need fresh air. I put everything back into the envelope and put it in my bag. I walk down the stairs and my parents stood up.
“I'm going for a walk I'll be back later.” I tell them.
“Okay sweetheart do you have your phone on you?” My mom asks.
“Yes I do.” She nods her head as I walk out of my house. I don't know how long I've been walking but when I stop and looked up I saw Scorpions Bar. I turned around and started walking again I'm not in trouble so I don't need to go in there, plus I'm to young anyways.
“Hey Collins happy birthday.” I looked up and saw Devin.
“Hey Donovan thank you.” I smile up at him he is the cutest boy in this town.
“I got you something.”
“You did what is it?” I ask curiously.
“Come with me.” He grabs my hand and leads me to his house. When we got to his room he went into his dresser and got out a box that had a purple ribbon on it. I open the box and it was an ankle bracelet with a key on it.
“This is beautiful I love it thank you Devin.”
“You're welcome Erika.” He grabs the ankle bracelet and put it on me. I wrap my arms around him and he hugs me back. It's getting late and I have to get back home.
“I have to go. Thank you for my present I love it.”
“You're welcome do you want me to walk you home?”
“No thank you.” He nods his head and walks me outside. When I got home it was too quiet and I don't know why. I walk into the kitchen and I saw blood everywhere and my dad on the floor with tears running down my face I screamed.
“Daddy.” I walk to him and touched his face.
“Erika, you need to run sweetheart. Run to your grandpa go to the Scorpions Bar go now.”
“But daddy you’re hurt.”
“NOW ERIKA!” I nod my head with tears in my eyes I run to my room grab my bag and start running towards the bar when I was almost there someone grabs me. I scream and kicked but he put a rag over my mouth and everything goes black. As I start waking up I don't know where I am and I'm tired to a chair.
“Hello Erika.”
“Who are you and what do you want?” I demanded.
“I'm Kyle, your uncle. I'm your real dad’s brother and I’ve been looking for you for ten years. But my stupid dad decided to hide you and he did well he hid you in the open that's why I couldn't find you until now with the help of the system.”
“What do you want with me?” I ask.
“Besides to torture my dad and Felix I want you to do what you’re told and if you don't I will kill your mom do I make myself clear? You will keep going to the same school I can't let them think something is wrong so you will keep going there but you will come back here if you try to run I will kill her do you understand.”
“Yes I understand where am I?”
“In the Devil's territory The Devils MC.”
You gotta be Kidding me I'm not safe here but I can't leave. Somehow I'll find a way to get out. He unties me and takes me to a room.
“This is going to be your room go on go to sleep.” My bag was on the bed I put it on the floor and sat on the bed a few minutes later the door opens again and it's a boy a few years older than me. He sits on the bed.
“How are you?” He asks.
“How do you think?”
“Good point sorry.”
“Who are you?” I ask.
“I'm your cousin.” I scoot away from him.
“I'm not here to hurt you. I'm not like my dad I'm here to help you. Do whatever he tells you to do and don't run you won't get nowhere trust me. I'm going to help as much as I can, me and a friend of mine are going to help you train.”
“Train for what?” I ask.
“To protect yourself and for you to one day get the hell out of here I'm going to warn you this place is hell but you have to be strong to serve here okay and my friend and I are going to help you but I know you are already strong you didn't show him fear and that's good don't show any of them fear. I have to go I'll talk to you tomorrow.”
“Wait what's your name?” I ask.
“Dalson it's good to meet you Erika wish it wasn't like this though.” Dalson leaves my room if I'm going to get out of this hell hole I have to get stronger with the help of my cousin I will get stronger and leave this place I just have to be patient.
