Kellan
After our show, I don’t wait for the guys, I just shower, grab my phone and make the cal I have been wanting to make all evening.
“Hel o.”
“Hey babe, miss me?”
“You know, I do.”
“You working?”
“Just finishing up. I was about to head home.”
“So, are you free for the next week?”
“Maybe, why?”
“I want to you to come out here.”
“When I get home, I wil check and let you know.”
It has been a month since Katy was on tour with us and I miss her like crazy. We talk about everything and nothing on her way home.
“Hey Kel an. Question?”
She sounds perplexed. “Yeah?”
“Did you send me flowers?”
“Ummm..no why?”
“I have some on my porch.”
I listen as she reads the card.
“Sorry, please forgive me. Colt.”
“What the hel , Katy!”
“I don’t know. I haven’t seen him since he came to my shop.”
I can hear her shut the door, then there is a thud.
“What was that?”
“Me throwing the flowers away.” She says with a huff.
“I can’t believe he stil thinks I am going to forgive him. I thought I made that perfectly clear.”
Needing to get her mind off Colt, I say, “So, can you come out here?”
“You know what? Yeah, I’m coming.
I’ll text you my flight information.”
Then, she hung up. I look down at my phone, and smile. She is so damn cute when she gets upset.
I arrive at the airport thirty minutes before Katy’s flight is set to arrive. Finding the right terminal, I sit and wait. When she walks out, I don’t have time to do anything but stand before she jumps, wrapping herself around me.
Placing my hands under her ass, I place my forehead against hers.

Pul ing back, she says, “god, I missed you.

“Stop laughing. I just saw more of those women then I ever wanted to see of another woman.”
“I’m sorry,” I wheeze and hold up a finger. I take a breath, “I didn’t know anyone would be in there or I would have warned you.”
Taking her hand, I turn her and we move toward the couch.
“I just saw more of Maddox, then I ever wanted to see, ever, along with some random women, and all you can say is sorry.
I’m going to need to bleach my brain for that image to disappear.”
“Yeah. It’s normal for us to have girls in here after the show but since we haven’t even gone on yet, I wasn’t thinking about someone being in there. If I had I would have stopped you from going back there.”
“What do you want to do, since the bed is occupied?”
“Wel , we could sit here and talk, watch tv, play games, or we could go into one of the bunks.”
She looks from me to the bunks, then back to me. “I don’t think we wil both fit.”
Just then I remember the other bus, the one the roadies use. Grabbing her hand, we exit the bus.
“Where are we going?”
“You’l see.”
When we reach the other bus, I tel her,
“Stay right here.”
I leave her at the bottom of the steps, and go see if anyone is on the other bus. Finding no one, I go back to get her.
“Don’t mind the mess.” I say as I lead her toward the bedroom. Once inside, I pick her up and toss her onto the bed. She laughs and bounces once, before I jump, landing on top of her. She laughs some more, before wrapping her arms around my neck.
“So, what do you want to do?” she asks.

Katy
We are back on the bands bus, and the guys are all joking around. Grabbing some clean clothes, I head to the shower, since I can’t bring myself to look Maddox in the eyes just yet. The image of him and those girls, has not left me yet. The guys go on in an hour, so I quickly shower and dress.
I put on a red tank and black pencil skirt. I pull my hair up into a fifty’s style. When I step out of the bathroom, al the guys look over at me. I flush red.

“Yeah. You look hot.” Jasper replies.
“Thanks”
I look over at Kellan, he is standing beside Dane with his mouth hanging open. When our eyes meet, he walks the few steps so we are nose to nose.

“I’m glad.”
“I’m going to have to find you a sign or something that says your mine and for everyone else to keep their hands and eyes to themselves.”
I laugh, “You’re crazy.”
Taking my hand, we exit the bus. We walk toward the dressing room. There is a line of fan girls standing in front of the door.
Keeping me close, Kellan and the guys usher me into the dressing room.
I take a seat on the couch and watch each one of the guys take their turn with hair and make-up, before getting dressed. Someone opens the door, and yel s twenty minutes.
Kane grabs his sticks and starts tapping on one of the tables. Maddox plops down beside me. I’m stil not able to meet his eyes, so I look down at my hands, which are folded in my lap.
“Heard you got an eyeful earlier?”
I shake my head. “Um…yeah but it’s not the first time I have seen more than I wanted to.”
He laughs, “I forgot about that, anyways, sorry, I should have locked the door.”
“I should have knocked, instead of just opening it. I wasn’t thinking about you guys sharing that room.”
“Look Katy-Kat. I know you’re really a good girl but what you saw, you know that’s nothing new, right?”
“I know, and Mad, it’s really none of my business what you or any of the other guys do. Next, time I’l knock.”
He laughs again and pulls me into his side.
He places a kiss on my head.
“Your good for him. You know that?”
“Thanks.”
Then, he’s gone. I stand and walk with Kellan to the stage. He looks fucking hot in his black leather pants, ripped t-shirt, biker boots and wrist cuffs. I created this outfit but damn, it looks so much better in person than on paper.
We stop backstage. The other band is exiting. I lean up on tip toes and place a kiss on his lips.
When someone whistles, I turn and look.
“Damn Kel an. You have one hot
piece right there. Can I have her when you are done?”

I watch as the guy laughs as he walks off.

Kellan, places his hand on my face and turns me so I am facing him.
“Don’t listen to him. Are you staying back here?”
“I don’t know yet.”
“If you do go out into the crowd, please be careful.”

When the first string of the guitar blares through the speakers, the crowd goes crazy.
I smile, and watch Maddox do his thing.

“So, you and Kel an are serious?”
I look at him. He hadn’t been with the band from the beginning but in the five years since Ryker died, he had been. He has become as close with me as the other guys.
“I guess so. It stil doesn’t seem real.”
“You love him.”
I don’t answer him, I just stare down at my hands. I do love Kel an and have for years, but admitting that, wel I can’t.
“I know you do. You don’t have to say anything, it’s written all over your face.”
I still don’t say anything. When I look up at Kane, he is smiling.
Finally, I whisper, “yeah, I do.”
“Good, because he loves you too.”
“How do you know?”
He looks around before saying,
“When you got engaged to that other guy, I thought Kellan was going to kill himself. He was so miserable. He would mumble about you and anytime someone said your name he would leave the room. That was the first time since I have been with the band that I really seen him loose it.”
“Are you for real?”
“Yeah.”
“Oh.”
I knew Kellan had a hard time with me being engaged, hel he even told me as much, but to hear it from someone else, wel that just makes it al the more real.
He shoulder bumps me. “He is happy out here, but you…. you make him even happier.”
I don’t respond. When I look up, Kellan is standing on the other side of the room talking with Jasper. I place a kiss on Kane’s cheek, before standing. I turn back to him,
“thanks for tel ing me.” Then, I turn and stride toward Kellan. However, I don’t make it. Dane steps into my path.
I hug him. He is the quiet one of the group.
“How are you beautiful?”
I smile, “good and you?”
“Good. You look happy.”
“I am.”
“So, you and Kel an, huh?”
“You know that’s a yes.”
“Can I steal you away?”
“Not a chance.”
He laughs, “good.” Then he kisses my cheek and steps back, grabbing a girl as he does.
I continue my path toward my man. Finally, I reach him. He wraps his arms around me.
“You ready?”
“For what?”
“The party.”
“Do we have to go?” I pout.
He laughs, “yeah, for a little while.”
“Wel shit, there goes my plans.”
He laughs again. “So, you ready. The faster we get there the faster we get to leave.”
“I guess.”
He grabs my hand and we head to the party.
