Gray's Playroom (The Everett Bros Book 3): An M/M BDSM Romance Novel by CANDICE BLAKE (8)

I had planned to talk to Gray about signing a contract. But after touching his cock in the dressing room, I’d forgotten everything that I wanted to say.

Gray was gorgeous.

His body was sculpted to perfection. He was built like a Greek god, and I didn’t know how to handle it. My plan to discuss our contract went out the window.

The kiss we’d shared earlier had made my heart pound so fast that I thought I was going to pass out. It was the fact that we had been doing it in a public place that made it that much more thrilling. I wanted him to have his way with me right then and there.

I put on the second suit. This one was light gray with a black button-up shirt.

“I don’t usually wear gray,” Gray said.

“Is it because your name is Gray?” I asked.

He nodded. “Yeah, it’s just a bit weird, you know, wearing the same color as my name.”

But we put on the suits anyway.

“What do you think of this one?” he asked.

The truth was that I thought he looked great in both. But the blue one suited him more.

“I liked the first one better,” I said.

Gray helped me put on a tie again. I was a bit embarrassed that I couldn’t do it myself, but I didn’t mind him doing for me. I loved watching his hands move so confidently to make a perfect half-Windsor knot. He tightened it firmly around my neck as if he knew I liked to be choked.

“I think you look better in this suit,” Gray said. “The tie matches your eyes.”

We stepped outside. The man who was helping us must’ve gone to a different part of the store because we were in there for so long.

“Do you think he knows what we did in there?” I whispered.

“I don’t think so. We were pretty quiet...I hope.”

Seeing Gray in a suit made me think about how powerful he must be in the courtroom. I was envious of his confidence, the way he walked commanded attention. Life must’ve been so easy for him.

The man returned and smiled at both of us.

“What do you think?” the man asked.

“I like the first suit more,” Gray said. “This isn’t really my color.”

“Very well then, and how about you?” the man asked me.

“I like the first one too,” I said.

The man nodded. “Okay, so we’ll customize a suit to fit your measurements in the style of the first suit you tried on then?”

I looked at Gray for him to answer.

“Yes, that would be great,” Gray said.

I touched my suit. It was the most luxurious material that I’d ever felt. I always thought suits were made to be uncomfortable, but I guess I just never owned a nice one. This suit felt like I was wearing nothing.

We got dressed back into our regular clothes, and it took all our willpower not to put our hands all over each other. Before we left the store, the man checked my measurements once more.

We thanked him and left the store. We were in the luxury shopping district in the city during the holiday season, so the streets were bustling with people. “Are you in a hurry to go anywhere?” Gray asked.

“Not really,” I said. “I mean, my roommate messaged me saying he’d cooked dinner for me. But other than that, I don’t have any plans.”

I didn’t want to mention to Gray that my car got towed. I didn’t want him to think I was dumb for not reading the sign.

“We can walk around for a bit if you’d like,” Gray said.

I nodded, and we walked down the busy street filled with people wearing fancy clothes and holding shopping bags.

“I used to walk up and down these streets when I was in college, looking into the displays and dreaming of a day when I could afford the clothes in there,” Gray said.

“Really?” I said. “I would’ve guessed that you came from a wealthy family.”

Gray laughed. “No way. My life would be a lot easier if I did. I worked for everything I have now. Of course, as I got older, things started falling into place. But my life wasn’t very different from yours at one point.”

Hearing him say that made me see him in a different light. I imagined him as a broke college student, and that made it easier to relate to him.

We stopped by a Starbucks that had a festive mural painted on their windows. It wasn’t too cold out, so after we ordered, we sat outside to enjoy our drinks on a bench.

“I wanted to talk to you today about...something,” I finally blurted after rehearsing it in my head over and over again.

“Yeah, what about?” Gray said casually.

“Well, I don’t really know what’s going on between us, so I think we should draw up a contract so we understand what exactly we want from each other,” I said.

“A contract?” Gray repeated.

I nodded. “It’s how I usually do it with clients. That way there’s no confusion.”

“I’m okay with that,” Gray said.

I was relieved that he was okay with my idea.

“I know I have to pay you for this,” Gray said. “So it makes sense that we should sign something.”

I wished we had this conversation earlier. After kissing him and fooling around in the dressing room, the lines were so blurred between us. Was Gray still considered a client?

“How much do you want for this?” Gray asked.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and wasn’t sure how to answer that question.

“How about fifty grand?” Gray asked. “Is that enough? After my brother’s wedding, we don’t have to see each other anymore.”

My eyes widened when he said fifty grand. I couldn’t even wrap my head around how much money that was. I wasn’t expecting him to pay me that much at all.

It was a bit awkward that I brought up the contract. But what we were doing without one just didn’t sit right with me. I was a submissive, but I needed control.

“Is that a reasonable price?” Gray asked.

I hesitated to answer. “It’s more than I had in mind.”

Gray smiled. “Well, don’t you think you deserve it? What I’m asking of you is not what you normally do. So I feel like it’s only fair to compensate you accordingly.”

“So, all you want is for me to escort you to your brother’s wedding?” I asked.

I wanted him to say he wanted more than that. I didn’t care about the contract at all, and I only brought it up to bring clarity to how he felt about me. I wanted to get a feel of what Gray actually wanted out of this. Because what I wanted was much more than escorting him to his brother’s wedding.

“We can try other things,” he said after a long silence.

He looked around, seeing if anyone could hear our conversation.

“What do you want to try?” I asked.

“You know...the BDSM stuff you mentioned before,” he said. “I can pay you more for it if that’s what you want.”

I shook my head. “No, you don’t have to,” I said, thinking of how much he was already willing to pay and the suit that he was going to buy for me as well. “You’re already giving me so much.”

“Listen. What we did in the dressing room just now was new for me. But if you’re willing to keep this a secret between us, I’d love to explore more with you.”

Secret. I hated that word. I wished we’d met under different circumstances. Then maybe this whole thing wouldn’t have to revolve around secrecy and money.

“I can keep a secret,” I said.

Gray reached out to shake my hand. His smile made me melt inside. How could I say no to anything this man had to say? And why was he even interested in me?

“What are you most interested in doing?” I asked him.

“We can start slow,” he said. “Just start with some spanking.”

My body trembled at the thought of being spanked by Gray. I remembered when he’d grabbed my ass in the dressing room.

“How do you want to spank me?” I whispered.

“Bent over my leg,” he said.

My cock hardened at the thought of it. I loved the pain of being spanked, especially from a man as assertive and dominant as Gray.

“What do you say we try it now?” he asked. “We can go back to my place.”

“I can’t right now. I left my car on your street last night, and it got towed,” I said, finally confessing it to him.

I wanted Gray so bad. But I knew I had to pick up my car before it got too late.

“You’re a bad boy,” Gray said with a smirk.

“How bad?” I asked him.

“You’ll see when you come to my house,” I said.

I loved how deep his voice sounded when he said that.

“Why don’t I go with you,” he said. “It’s partially my fault for getting you that drunk last night. We can get an Uber so we can get there faster.”

There was an urgency now that he wanted to do things to me. But I thought about Gray seeing the shitty car I drove and change his mind about me.

“I can do it myself,” I said. “I’ll meet you at your place tonight when you’re free.”

“I insist on taking you,” he said.

I knew he wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

Gray pulled out his phone and ordered an Uber. In less than a few minutes, the car pulled up in front of us and drove us to the towing site.

I gave all the necessary information to get my car back, and the person working there showed me where my car was. As we walked toward it, I felt embarrassed that Gray was about to see my car for the first time and all the dents and scratches I couldn’t afford to fix. But when we reached my car, he didn’t even bat an eye.

“Are you going to open the door,” he said. “It’s getting kind of cold.”

I got inside and unlocked the passenger side manually because the car didn’t have automatic doors.

Gray rubbed his hands together and blew into them.

“This car doesn’t have heat,” I admitted as I put the key in the ignition.

Gray turned to me. “You can’t drive a car without heat in Canada. It’s dangerous.”

He was right. The embarrassment I was feeling was off the charts. I remembered when I could barely see out of the windshield during a hail storm last winter while I was driving. Without heat in my car, I couldn’t defrost my windshield, and I had to stop on the side of the highway to wait until the storm was over.

“I have to fix that,” I said quietly. “Are we going back to your place?”

Gray nodded. “I’m going to get a mechanic to get your heat fixed tomorrow. I don’t want you getting in a car accident.”

The car squeaked as I left the lot. We were quiet as I drove back to his place. The anticipation of being alone in Gray’s house and letting him have his way with me made my heart pump faster.

When we arrived, I parked on the street like I usually did.

“You better just park in my driveway,” Gray said. “Or you’re going to get towed again.”

“You sure you don’t care what your neighbors think about having such an old car parked in front of your house?” I asked.

“All I want is to get you in my house right now,” Gray said.

I listened to him and pulled up in front of his house. I started feeling a rush of adrenaline. I got that feeling when I was about to be dominated. The only way I could describe the feeling is how a gambler felt right before he entered a casino or a smoker’s first cigarette in the morning.
