The Ink That Brands Us: A Colorado Ink Novel by Terra Deason (17)

Seventeen

I lay sprawled in the middle of my bed completely naked, watching as Jensen slowly crawled towards me. His eyes never leaving mine. My body pulsed with the beat of my heart as he ran his hand up my leg as if he were memorizing every curve. He bent his head low planting butterfly kisses along the inside my thigh.

He trailed further up my body leaving seared flesh in his wake. He had me on edge just from his touch. My fingers itched to reach out and touch him, but I was afraid any movement would break whatever spell he had me under. I was mesmerized by his every movement.

He climbed over me, settling himself between my legs, spreading my thighs wide. He leaned his head down never breaking eye contact as his tongue snaked out and caressed my bottom lip. His hand trailed down my belly reaching lower until he found his target. He pressed his thumb on my clit causing me to arch against the pressure and moan into his mouth.

“Oh, luv,” he chuckled. “You want me, don’t you?”

“Yes!” I panted, arching against him again.

He bent his head lower capturing my nipple between his teeth. He drew it into his mouth and sucked hard. Without thought I grabbed a handful of his long hair and pressed him into me. The pressure on my clit was gone as he reached lower, running a finger through my wet folds. He teased me with his touch and I squirmed under him. Just when I thought I would topple of the edge he pulled back.

“Jensen, please!” I was begging, but I didn’t care. I needed him.

“You’re so wet for me, Freya. I bet you taste like heaven,” he said, his tongue snaking out to run along his bottom lip.

He slid down my body until he was nestled in between my legs. He pressed my legs wider and bent down to place a light kiss at my core. I lost all train of thought when he ran his tongue against my clit.

“Jensen!” I screamed as he began circling my clit. I pressed his head into me as I spiraled out of control and when his fingers joined the party I completely lost it.

I woke with a start as my stomach clenched and I had to press my face into my pillow to suppress the moan.

“Oh my God,” I sighed, pushing my hair out of my face and sitting up.

That had been the most intense dream I had ever had and yet my body was still wound up. I needed… no...I wanted more. I hadn’t been in the mood since Josh dumped me and now it was apparent that my libido was making a come back. Of course it was because of Jensen.

I glanced guiltily at the door knowing that even if he could hear me he wouldn’t know I was thinking about him instead of my boyfriend. I leaned over to my nightstand pulling out my little pink vibrator. It was purely for clit stimulation and would get the job done. I took one last look at the door and lay back down.

I clicked the vibrator on and reached low. When it connected with my already pulsing clit I had to cover my mouth to muffle the moan. I rocked my hip in a circled motion moving against the vibrator feeling the build coming. I was already so worked up over my dream it didn’t take much to get me off.

I sat up and stretched, then let out a huff. The orgasm had been nice, but I still wanted more. Mostly I wanted the intimacy that being with someone brought. Maybe I should just get over myself and let Alex take me to bed. Maybe that would take the edge off. Something had to or I might do something like attack my sexy as sin roommate.

With a sigh, I climbed out of bed and headed for the kitchen. I needed some caffeine in me before I could get ready for the day. Thankfully, I didn’t have school this morning and had plenty of time to sit around and drink more than one cup.

Jensen was standing in the kitchen, leaning against the counter, coffee mug in hand. I knew it wasn’t coffee because he didn’t like the taste of it, but he always made me a pot. He preferred his tea and for some reason that made him even more adorable.

He smiled at me as I rounded the bar.

“Good morning,” I said and even to my ears I sounded grumpy.

“Good morning, indeed,” he chuckled. “Did you sleep well?”

My brows furrowed. “Yes.”

“Did you have good dreams, then?” he asked, chuckled again.

Clearly he had heard me this morning. That’s just my luck. I decided to just ignore him as I poured my coffee and tried to not die of embarrassment.

“I would have been happy to give you a hand,” he teased as I went to walk past him.

Something came over me as I stared up at his smug face. I would love nothing more than to wipe that look off his stupid, sexy face.

“Oh, you did. Trust me,” I said, lifting my cup in salute and continued on my way not looking back to see his reaction.

I went back to my room to drink my coffee and look for something to wear for the day. I took my time in the shower, letting the hot water relax me. By the time I was finishing up my hair I was starving. I grabbed my coffee up off my dresser and headed back to the kitchen.

Jensen was now lounging on the couch, flipping through channels when I walked into the room. I went to the sink, placing my mug into it. I walked back to the bar and leaned my hip against it.

“Wanna grab some breakfast? I’m starved.” I asked Jensen.

He looked from the TV, smirking at me and I rolled my eyes. I could guess the nature of his thoughts. The pervert. I arched an eyebrow at him and waited him out. He tossed the remote onto the coffee table and hopped to his feet. He raised his arms in the arms and stretched causing his shirt to rise. That sexy V was on display and I swear my eyes only lingered for a moment, but when I looked up Jensen was grinning at me.

I looked away, embarrassed.

“Sure, luv. Let’s get some food,” he said as he walked to the door.

“If you want, we can ride together today,” I said, walking out the door behind him. “Unless you have plans tonight.” After all it was Friday.

He turned to look back at me. “Nope. No plans.”

“Okay,” I shrugged.

“We’ll take my car,” he said as we descended the stairs.

“In that case, I’m driving!” I called running the past him.

“Not a chance, luv!” He called after me.

“Poker night!” Saw called as we all headed for our vehicles after work. “It’s BYOB night, so we’ll all meet at my place in twenty.”

“We’ll be there,” Derek called as he and Tyler climbed into his lifted Chevy.

“Jensen and I will meet you there,” I said, walking around the GTO.

“Actually Freya I was hoping you would ride with me,” Saw said, stopping in front of the GTO. I looked at her and she gave me the ‘look’. The one where you don’t ask questions. You just agree and follow her lead.

“Sure,” I shrugged, looked to Jensen. “I’ll see you at Saw’s.” Jensen winked at me and climbed into his car.

As Saw and I were pulling out of the parking lot, I started to as her why she wanted me to ride with her when my phone went off. I pulled it out of my pocket and frowned at the screen.

Alex: What are you up too?

Me: Spending some time with Saw.

Alex: Okay honey. Have fun.

“What are you frowning at?” Saw asked.

I looked up from my phone and sighed. “Nothing really. Just thinking about Alex.”

“Was that him?” She nodded towards my phone.

“Yeah. He wanted to know what I was up too. Is it bad that I omit a lot when I tell him stuff? For instance, I told him I was spending time with you, but not that we were having poker night with the guys.”

“Why couldn’t you tell him the whole truth?”

“He doesn’t like me hanging out with Jensen more than I have too.”

She said nothing and I didn’t ask for her opinion. I wasn’t sure I wanted to know what she thought or if she would side with Alex. Jensen was my friend and I wasn’t giving him up just because Alex didn’t like him.

Saw revealed the reason she wanted me to ride with her while we were walking around the liquor store.

“Drink with me tonight,” she begged as we walked down the aisle. I should’ve seen this coming. “Please!”

“This feels an awful lot like peer pressure,” I chuckled when she started pouting.

“Come on! It will be a lot of fun,” she assured me.

“I don’t know, Saw. I’ve never really drank much.” Or at all.

“Just this once and if you don’t like it or have any fun I’ll never ask again.” She looked at me with her puppy dog eyes and I rolled my eyes.

“Fine!” I sighed, giving in.

She squealed bouncing up and down. “We’re going to have so much fun!” She pulled multiple bottles off the shelf and stacked them in my arms before grabbing a case of beer. The cashier gave us skeptical looks before carding us and sending us on our way.

We were the last to arrive at her apartment. The guys were already inside getting the cards and table set up. I left Saw in the kitchen as I headed to the playroom to help the guys get set up. They all had beers in their hands and were sitting around the table laughing at some joke that Tyler had told.

I took my usual seat between Tyler and Derek, smiling at Jensen. Just as Derek dealt our hands, Saw walked into the room with a tray full of shot glasses.

“Shots!” she shouted, passing out the tiny tequila  filled glasses. The guys whooped and all reached for one, but went silent as I grabbed one too.

They all looked to me as if they were waiting to see if I would really do it. I lifted my glass in a toast. “Here’s to bad choices and an awesome night!” I tossed the shot back, coughing as it burned going down. I slammed the glass on the table and looked to each of my friends. “Now. Who’s ready to lose?”
