Chapter 11

 

Buzz

 

Damnit! Liz just cooked us a delicious meal but some fucker is after her possibly because she was seen with our club. I didn’t want to tell her because I don’t want her to run away from me. I just got off the phone with Breaker and he agreed that the safest place for Liz is in the clubhouse. He knows that she isn’t an old lady but feels responsible for putting her in danger because of the shit we had go down with the Death Riders. Our MC thought that once we dismantled their ranks and put in new allies, all of our issues would be taken care of, but it seems that there are a few strays trying to cause havoc.

Liz is going to have to get used to being in the clubhouse, because I am not going to let her go until this shit is dealt with.

I just finished cleaning up, when she emerges from her bedroom all dressed. She is wearing jeans, a black t-shirt and some sneakers. I have never seen her so casual, she looks worried but beautiful. I can’t help but stare.

“Buzz? Hello? Buzz? Are you okay?” I am snapped out of my thoughts by her trying to gain my attention.

“Sorry hun, I was just thinking how beautiful you are.”

“Why do you say things like that?”

I move in really close to her forcing her to move backwards against the wall. I am within inches of her face, almost touching, so close I can feel the heat coming off her body. “I am not playing. If you didn’t know from my hard dick when we kissed. I don’t play around.”

“Ughh okay, but you could have just been reacting to physical stimuli not necessarily because you are attracted to me.” What is wrong with this woman?

I grab her hand and put it right on top of my dick. “Do you feel that? That is not just a reaction to physical stimuli, you haven’t touched me. Just looking at you and thinking about you does this to me.” I grab my crotch with her hand harder. I am fucking steel right now.

She is blushing bright red and steps back. I step back as well and walk towards the kitchen. “Alright, I think I believe you.”

“There is nothing to not believe, you’re feeling the evidence”

“I’m sorry, I don’t know what to say. I have never been in this situation before. Men, that look like you don’t usually go for girls like me. You’re gorgeous and tattooed and muscly and Adonis like. You’re the caviar and I am the Spam.”

“Stop putting yourself down Liz. I won’t allow you to do that anymore. You’re putting down someone I happen to care about.”

“I am just going to stop talking.”

“That works with me. Are you all packed?”

She looks confused. “Packed? Packed for what?” she asks.

“To stay at the clubhouse. You can stay in my room.”

“I never agreed to stay there. I said I would go there while you were in church. That is all. I want to be in my own home. Why do I need to stay in the clubhouse?”

“You will be safer there.”

“No. I want to stay at my house. I won’t go unless you give me your word that I can stay at my house tonight.”

“Fine. You can stay at your house tonight.” She can stay one more night but after that she needs to stay in the clubhouse. I need her safe until we can get Rage and his lackeys taken care of. I live for this shit. I am not the Sargent in Arms for nothing. I will bleed and die for my club and right now my girl or the girl I want to be mine is in danger and I will remedy the situation.

“Fine. Do you want me to follow you in my car?”

“No, we will both go in your car.” I have my bike out front but it’s better we go together.

“Fine. Let me grab the leftovers and we can head over if you’re ready.”

“Always ready. I already packed up the leftovers and I have them right here.” I walk over to the counter and grab a bag with leftover food.

“Okay. Let’s go. I really want to come back home soon.” I can see her shoulders deflate a little.

We both walk outside and I notice the car again. This stupid fuck doesn’t realize who he is messing with. I can see him in plain sight. In any other situation, I would go after the asshole but I don’t want to scare Liz.

“Come on hun, let’s get going.” I make sure to set the alarm and lock the front door. We have cameras around the perimeter of her house. They are hidden in plain sight.

I open that door for her to get in the car and close it behind her. I round the car and get in myself. I am driving.

“Let’s go. I hope to not be there for too long.” She says. I key the car ignition and start driving towards the clubhouse.

 

15 minutes later…

We pull up to the gate of the clubhouse. I roll down the window to talk to the prospect at the gate. He doesn’t recognize me because I am driving Liz’s cage. I have my cut on and he knows who I am, otherwise he would be in trouble.

“Hey Capt’n.” He says

“Prospect, open the gate. I need to get in. Church is in 10.”

“Yes, sir. I didn’t recognize you in the cage.” He runs to open the gate.

“Why did he call you Captain?” Liz asks.

“Prospect used to be in the military with me.”

“I knew it.” She says with wide eyes. “But, how, I mean how did you get into the MC?” She asks.

“I was in a rough place and Winger found me. This MC gave me my life back.”

“Okay.” She gets quiet. I can tell she is thinking hard.

We pull up to the front of the clubhouse. “We are here.” I park the car and get out. I make my way over to her door and open it up for her.

“Thanks.” I can see her fidgeting.

“Stop worrying, everyone knows not to touch you. Plus Tank called Sky over and she is going to hang out with you for a while, while I am in church.”

She lets out a big breath. “Thanks.” We walk into the clubhouse and I immediately see Gemma in the corner giving one of the brothers a blow job. I look over to Liz and see her eyes get huge. Her face reddens.

“Come on, I will take you to my room. You can hang out in there. No one will bother you in there.”

“Thanks.” She is being awfully quiet.

We walk towards the back of the clubhouse and down a long hallway to my room. All the brothers have a room in the clubhouse. Some of us have homes outside, while others like Rock just live in the clubhouse full time. We get to my room and I open up the door for her.

“I know it isn’t much, it is literally just a place for me to crash.”

“It’s fine.” She is hugging herself.

“Liz, what is wrong?”

“I am freaked out here Buzz, I have a psycho coming after me for what could be a reason that has nothing to do with me but with your club. It is all really frustrating.”

“Look, we are going to try and figure out why Rage is coming after you. It could be that he is a psycho and have nothing to do with the club. Either way, the Corrupted Saints are going to take care of it. I spoke with Breaker this morning and he agreed that you will have our protection.”

“Well, what do you guys plan on doing? It’s not like you can just go up to him and say stop.”

“Hun, you don’t want to know what we are going to do to him. It is better that way.” What she doesn’t know is that I will kill the fucker. These strays are causing hell and unless they are gone, our club won’t be in peace. “Look, I need to get going. Sky should be by soon. You can lock the door from the inside, I am the only one who has a key and Breaker. You can also hang out in the main room if you like. Everyone knows that you are off limits.”

“Thanks, I will stay in here for now,” she says. I walk out closing the door behind me and head to church. Rock has some more information on these Lost Souls. We also need to make a plan to get this fucker. He is going to wish he never breathed in the same direction as Liz or any Corrupted Saint.
