Agony: Kings of Rebellion MC #4 by K.T Fisher (21)

Chapter Twenty Two

Drew

I wake up the next morning completely hung over and when I feel the bed shift next to me I freeze. Holy shit! Who the fuck is in my bed?

I prepare myself to turn around, hoping that a man is not lying ass naked next to me in my bed. Slowly and very carefully, I turn my head and I see a mess of red hair and immediately relax.

“Thank fuck.” I whisper.

I then hear a giggle and Maci pops her head from under the quilt. “What’s up? Thought I had a penis?”

“Ew.” I laugh. “I fucking hate that word.”

“Penis?” Maci asks, still laughing. “It’s better than love stick.”

My laughter becomes even louder. “What the fuck? Who said that?”

Maci taps her nose. “Need to know basis.”

I scrunch up my face in annoyance. “So, why are you in my bed anyway?”

Maci shrugs her shoulders. “Fell asleep talking, I guess.” It’s not like it would be the first time, Maci and I have often fallen asleep together, but what is strange is that we’re interrupted by a knock on my bedroom door. Maci and I frown at each other.

“Girls?” My eyes widen when I hear Zane’s voice.

“Yeah?” I ask, giving Maci wide eyes but all she does is shrug.

“We’ve made you both a tea and some toast.” Zane answers.

“You feeling alright?” Maci giggles.

Both Maci and I get out of the bed. I’m wearing my pyjama shorts and a plain shirt. At least I managed to change, I suppose.

“So, are you two naked in there?” Asks Zane and I grab my dressing gown and wrap it around me.

“Fuck off Zane!” I laugh and Maci shakes her head.

I hear Zane’s deep laugh as he walks away and memories of last night flash back. The four of us were celebrating and getting drunk together. I can remember I was getting sick of the men watching us, as if I needed protecting and looking after. So I suggested the four of us come back here and have a private party. Nothing to get hot and bothered about, but we had some drinks and a laugh. Maci and I started to get tired and snuck off to my room where we fell asleep gossiping about shit that doesn’t matter. Which brings me to here, hungover with the Redgrave’s making me breakfast.

“Wish me luck!” Maci giggles as she opens the door and runs to her own room. She’s wearing a baggy shirt that finishes at her knees, but I still hear an appreciate wolf whistle as she leaves.

I then leave my bedroom and I’m slightly stunned at the sight of the Redgrave brothers making themselves at home in my apartment. Zane is sat at the table, munching on toast and sipping on his tea, but Cyrus looks very sexy standing shirtless in the kitchen area. He’s drinking his tea and frying some eggs, a simple task but when a man like Cyrus Redgrave is doing it half naked, it’s no normal task anymore. Especially when his back is covered in more bruises than before and a great big black eye.

Zane looks over to me, wiggling his eyebrows. “Oh, morning princess.”

Cyrus then looks over, putting down his cup of tea and smirking over at me. “Sit down Dee.” Maci then appears from her bedroom, dressed in a similar looking dressing gown to mine. “You too Mace.” He orders.

Maci and I exchange a humoured look as we walk to the table. Cyrus then walks over, putting down a plate in front of us as we sit.

“I’m impressed.” I laugh, watching Cyrus return to fetch his own plate. He sits in the middle of Zane and me, still shirtless and very distracting.

“What?” He asks with a smirk. “You think a man can’t cook eggs?”

Maci laughs, looking at Zane’s plate. “You not like eggs Zane?”

Zane grimaces. “Fuck no.”

“Weird.” Cyrus shakes his head and Zane flashes him the middle finger.

“Says the one who doesn’t love licking pussy.” Zane laughs back and I almost choke on my cup of tea.

Maci giggles. “Love it, do you?” She then bites a bit of toast from her fork, her eyes glittering with mischief.

Zane licks his lips, eyes zoning in on Maci. “It’s my favourite taste.”

Taking my eyes from the weird scene developing next to me, I look over at Cyrus who is shaking his head.

“You don’t like the taste very much?” I ask Cyrus, trying to hold back my laughter.

Cyrus puts down his drink, turning towards me slightly and looking me dead in the eye. “I didn’t say that.” He looks me over with a look so intense I break out in shivers. “I enjoy the sweetness as much as any other man, but I prefer pleasing a woman in different ways.”

“Ok.” I laugh. “I’m intrigued.”

Cyrus just shakes his head and I hear Maci and Zane laughing quietly. “Oh no princess, there’s only one way to find that out.” He quirks an eyebrows, daring me to ask more, but instead I carry on eating my breakfast.

“I should have guessed it would have been Bomber.” Maci shakes her head. “He’s one tough bastard, but well done on beating him Cyrus. I guess you’re the toughest one around here now.”

“Hey!” Zane frowns. “You haven’t seen me in action yet.”

“Not sure I want to.” Maci erupts in laughter.

I turn to Cyrus, looking at his bruised body and face. “Congratulations.”

Cyrus raises his eyebrows. “Don’t sound too pleased.”

“I am.” I insist and just as I’m about to explain, Cyrus jumps in.

“No, I get it. Bomber’s a good friend and is practically family. You don’t need to explain.”

We share a smile before returning to our own plates of food and my mind wonders to Elise and how she’s feeling. I’ll have to call her later and check up on her.

***

“So she had no clue?” Maci asks me later that day when we’re alone. Cyrus and Zane left about an hour after we shared some breakfast this morning. Club business calls at any time.

“None.” I shake my head. “She said when he came home he almost scared her to death in the bloody state he was in.”

“I’m not surprised.” Maci’s eyes widen.

I’ve just got off the phone to Elise. She had no idea Bomber was the one fighting Cyrus and said that if she did, she would have begged Bomber not to. Even knowing the great fighter that he is, the Redgrave’s are on some other type of blood thirsty level.

Elise went on to ask about Tasha, she had heard from Lauren that she had left early last night, not looking too good. So I send Tasha a quick text to check up on her. I don’t want to call her if she’s still not feeling too well.

“Anyway.” I announce. “She said that she had spoken to Lauren this morning and they suggested having a girl’s night.”

“I’m in!” Maci claps in excitement. “You’re coming, right?”

“Of course.” I nod. “Why would I be anywhere else?”

Maci then jumps up, planning what she’s going to wear and all sorts, but my mind wonders to Suzy and when this next fight will be. I’m itching to avenge Sketch for what those bastards did to him.
