After working a nine-hour shift, I had to rush back to Vanessa and Mark’s to pack to go to Dallas. Vanessa had already made the hotel arrangements, so Troy and I would have two rooms. Mark even gave Troy a rental car, so our travel plans were set.
While waiting on Troy, I checked myself out in the hall mirror, wondering if what I was doing is right. I should be happy that I’ll be checking out my future store, but a tiny part of me felt guilty. Just being around Troy, I realized that maybe I should tell him the real reason why Vanessa hired me to work at Suds. Once the building is finalized, I’ll be leaving the Richmond store to go to my own, so he would know eventually. I just hope I’m not in too deep with him when that time comes.

There was a knock at the door, that interrupted my thoughts so I went to open it. My smile was huge when I saw Troy on the other side .

“Hi. Shall we hit the road? We have almost a four-hour drive ahead of us.”
“We will, but first, are Mark and Vanessa home?”
I slowly shook my head. “No. Mark’s still at Lucinda’s and Vanessa is at her parents.”
Troy smiled wickedly as he walked inside. “There’s something I’ve been wanting to do ever since I’d kissed those lips of yours.”
I stared at him as he closed the door behind him. “What is that?” I seductively asked while coming closer to him.
He put his arm around my waist and smiled. “I don’t know if I should tell you or if I should show you. Unless you’re scared someone will come in.”
I looked into his eyes as my hand went down his shirt. “Why would I be scared?” I whispered as my hand landed on his loop of his shorts. I went underneath his shirt, slowly caressing his stomach. “Troy, please.”

“Do I need to show you my test results? I do have them scanned onto my phone.” He said as he was about to pull his phone from his pocket, but I stopped him.
“I believe you,”
“Are you sure? Because I don’t mind.”
I stared at him as he handed me his phone. He went to his photos, and sure enough, he had his results scanned. I glanced at them as I gave him his phone back.
“It’s cool that you asked. I’m not offended by that.”
“Thank you for telling and showing me.”
“No problem,”
