His to Know (His to Own Book 3) by Autumn Winchester (30)

Chapter 37

Zachariah

I never wanted to move. I loved the feeling of my wife lying on top of me, fast asleep. Her hair was splayed out around her, lying limply over the side of my arm. Her breaths were even, her chest rising with each one she took.

Last night had been more than I was expecting. So much more.

I loved my wife, but I loved it even more when she submitted to me. Somehow, she was able to lessen my need to taking control constantly in the bedroom.

Don’t get me wrong, we still had moments where I wanted nothing more than flip her over my knee and spank her senseless. I knew she wasn’t a child and I couldn’t do that. Instead, I saved it for our bedroom activities. She’d have to get over the fear of Joshua hearing her, because I wasn’t going to make us wait so long like that again. I made a mental note to make one of the spare rooms soundproof, because I was not going to hide my needs for the entire twenty years our son would no doubt live in this house.

My own needs wouldn’t let me, and neither would hers.

We really were meant for each other. I think God made her just for me.

“Morning,” she mumbled. Her voice was rough with sleep.

“Morning, sweetheart,” I replied. “Are you sore?”

“Hmmm,” she hummed, still relaxed against me. “Not too bad, I think.”

“Let me know if you are. It has been a while since we were so rough,” I hedged, petting her hair. I loved that it was longer and fit in my hand easily like last night.

“Bossy,” she giggled out, but not upset.

“Gotta take care of the love of my life,” I shrugged.

We fell into an easy silence, enjoying each other. We both knew that this wouldn’t last when Joshua came back home. The first night with him gone and I missed him.

“Should we get ready to go get our son?” I asked.

“You miss him too?” Avidya said, lifting her head to meet my eyes.

“More than I thought I would,” I said, giving her a smile.

“I need to pee,” Avidya said, pushing herself off of me and in turn, the bed. I groaned out, seeing her naked breasts. They were perfect, just like the rest of her.

“Quit staring,” she muttered with a shake of her head on her way to the bathroom. Of course, she walked with purpose, showing off her round butt in the process.

“Then quit teasing me,” I called after her.

She simply gave me a sexy smile over her shoulder.

That little tease.

I waited until the shower came on before I made my way to the bathroom, following her path. She was just getting in under the warm spray as I went to take a piss. I felt her eyes on my ass. A huge smile crossed my lips. She loved my ass as much as I loved hers.

After flushing and washing my hands, I stepped into the shower. Our clothes were left discarded around the room from our late-night activities.

Once I had my hands on her, I crashed my mouth to hers, taking control of her body as the water rushed over the both of us. She moaned into my mouth, pushing against my body as her body heated from the inside out.

“I’m going to take you here in this shower,” I muttered as I trailed kisses down her neck.

“Please,” she begged, grabbing ahold of my hair and pushing me against her body.

I took my time, trailing my mouth down to one peaked nipple. I took it into my mouth and sucked on it before slightly biting down around what I had in my mouth. At the slight pressure, not enough to cause her pain, Avidya gasped out loudly, dropping her head to her chest. Her hands pushed me harder against her breast, so I had to do it again.

“Zach,” she moaned. I felt her pelvis push against me, trying to find friction she desperately wanted.

“Maybe I should make you wait,” I said, pulling pack. I moved one hand to her other breast, tweaking the nipple.

“You wouldn’t dare,” she seethed, her voice breathy.

“Oh, I so would,” I said, my voice dark with promise. “You’d go nuts all day, knowing what I did to you. You’d be wet all day thinking about what you need from me.”

“I’d be wet all day either way,” she spit at me, daring me.

Now, she was just egging me on. She wanted me to tease her.

And God, did I want to.

That would have to wait another day, because I was hard as a rock and didn’t want to have a boner all day long around my family.

Instead, I gave her a look that spoke volumes. I could tease her all day long if I wanted it, because she would let me.

I put my mouth back on Avidya’s, my hands going up to pin her arms above her head.

“Don’t move them,” I stated, slightly squeezing her wrists to prove what I was talking about.

At her nod, I reached over for a condom from the soap shelf and slipped it onto my hard cock. Then, placing both my hands to her hips, and pushed my cock into her warmth. She moaned at the feeling, spreading her legs slightly farther apart to give me a bit more room.

“One day soon, I’ll make you scream so loud, the birds will fly away in fear,” I grunted, pushing my cock into her over and over again.

I would have loved to tease her, but my own selfish needs wouldn’t let me. I wanted to come as much as she did right this second.

This wasn’t nice sweet lovemaking like the night before. Oh no. This was hard, rough, and everything in between.

“Mine,” I growled before lightly biting her where her neck and shoulder met.

“Always,” she agreed as her walls squeezed me tightly as her orgasm consumed her.

I followed right along with her, spilling into her on a hard grunt myself.

I’d never tire of doing this. I’d never tire of my wife in any way. Ever.

~oOo~

A few hours later, we arrived at my parents’ house. Avidya had let her hair air dry, and the ends were slightly curled. She wore a light pink crocheted sweater over the top of her thin strapped dark blue tank top. The sweater would do nothing to ward off any chill, but only showing off her skin.

I threw on a pair of jeans and a blue shirt, not caring what I wore, as long as it was clean.

“We’ll have to try to do this monthly,” I mused as I helped her out of the car.

“I’m sure everyone would be up for that,” she agreed, laying her head on my arm as we walked up the stone steps.

Like I expected, the front door was opened before we even made it there.

“You are both here sooner than I expected,” my father stated, looking over the both of us.

“Sorry,” I shrugged. “We miss our son.”

“Good luck getting him away from Toby,” Dad spoke, letting us in. “He’s not too happy with Melio currently.”

“What did he do this time?” Avidya asked, trying, and failing, to hide her amusement.

“Not entirely sure this time,” Dad laughed. “I’m staying out of this one.”

“Melio, would you knock it off!” Violet said, her voice slightly elevated. As we rounded the corner, I saw what my father was talking about.

My brother, for whatever reason, was trying to use my son as his own personal table as he laid on the floor. There was a small plate now in Toby’s hands that had just been on my son’s tummy.

“He’s perfect size, though,” Melio said, trying to take the plate to put it back right where it was.

“Josh is not a table,” Toby spoke. Although his voice was quiet, it was filled with disbelief that the grown man could think the way he was.

“He doesn’t care. Look at him. He just wants to lay there and do nothing,” Melio stated.

“He’s a baby,” Toby said, looking down at my son. “He doesn’t know what he wants.”

“And do you know?” Melio said jokingly. A second later, his smile faded as he realized what he had said. He was worried that Toby would be upset at the words.

I was expecting Toby to clam up, or run away, as he was known to do more times than any of us could count. Violet was ready to jump in at any given moment, but the boy surprised us all. I don’t think he knew he had an audience.

“If I was him, I wouldn’t want to be used as some piece of furniture,” Toby spoke, his voice calm despite his look of hate towards the man he was arguing with. “He’s a person. And even though he can’t talk, he has the same wants as you. Same as me.”

“What are your wants?” Melio asked.

“I want to be happy,” Toby said, ducking his head down. “I want a family.”

“Oh, Tobs,” Melio said, lightly placing his hand on the boy’s. “You do have a family here.”

“No I don’t,” Toby said, shaking his head.

“Yes. Yes you do. I won’t let you go anywhere else, man. Never. You are as much my son as Josh is Zach’s.”

I watched in awe as Toby let a small smile fall on his lips. “Can I call you dad, then?”

Chapter 38

Avidya

I think Toby surprised everyone. I certainly had never expected him to do that, ever.

“If you want to,” Melio said easily. “I would like that, but it’s totally up to you.”

“Okay,” Toby said, not sure what to say. He seemed surprised himself.

Just then, Joshua let out a huge cry, alerting everyone that no one was paying attention to him. My son loved attention, demanded it constantly, too.

The spell was broken as Toby was quick to take my son and hold him, mumbling things to the baby.

“Well that was a good turn out,” Violet said on a breath of air. “I expected a huge outburst.”

“I think everyone was,” I said. “Glad he’s doing so much better.”

“Thanks to you,” Violet said my way. “Whatever you said to him the other day worked wonders.”

“I didn’t say anything that wasn’t true,” I shrugged. “He’s a good kid. And you and Melio have done wonderful with him.”

“We try,” Violet said. “He’s called me Mom a few times, mostly by accident.”

“I don’t think it was a mistake. He may have been testing it out to see how you react. You don’t jump to conclusions, Vi. Toby knows that and you were a safe person to try it on. I wouldn’t have worked for that,” I said.

“You’re right,” she said. “I also think counseling has helped.”

“It usually does. It’s all about trial and error,” I mused.

“When did you grow up?” Violet laughed.

“It’s common sense,” I blushed.

“Come help me with lunch,” Julia called our way.

I gave Zach a shrug, knowing that this was a simple command that she wanted to talk.

Once Violet and I entered the kitchen, Julia didn’t waste time is wrapping her arms around us both.

“I can’t believe I’m a grandma!” she gushed.

“You’ve been one since the day we took Toby in,” Violet laughed.

“But it’s so official!” Julia said, pulling back to wipe at her eyes. “When will you have the documents?”

“We already do. Just have to have a judge sign them and we are all set,” Violet stated. Then turning to me, “We’ve been wanting to adopt Toby, to make him ours once and for all. We just had to wait until he was at the right place to tell him. We love him as though we’ve always had him.”

“That’s amazing,” I smiled. “You two are great parents.”

“Will you take in other kids?” Julia asked.

“Not for another year or more. Toby needs our attention the most right now. Later on down the road, we probably will,” Violet answered.

“Will you have any more kids?” Julia asked me. “Zach seems to be great with Josh.”

“Not for a while,” I answered. “I think one right now is plenty. If it does happen later on, years later, then yes. But right now, we are happy.”

“He didn’t give you too much of a hard time, did he?” Julia asked.

“Oh, he always does,” I smiled. “But nothing I can’t handle.”

“M…Vi?” Toby asked, entering the kitchen.

“What’s up, Toby?” Violet asked, turning around to face Toby.

“Vidie!” he said, spotting me. “I didn’t know you were here!”

“Hey, Toby,” I said.

A moment later, his arms wrapped around me. I returned his hug.

“You’re gonna be my aunt,” he said, looking up at me.

“I thought I already was,” I winked at him, causing him to roll his eyes at me.

“How do you figure that?” Julia asked.

“Well, she’s my aunt,” Toby said, fumbling over his words.

“Because you live with Violet and Melio?” I asked.

He nodded his answer.

Even though I knew Violet and Julia most likely could hear me, I whispered to him, “It’s okay to call them your parents, you know. They would love it if you did, and they’d never make you call them something they don’t want to be called.”

He nodded once more against my chest before making his way back out of the room.

“Maybe you should have adopted him instead,” Violet laughed.

“I would have if I’d had met Zachariah a year or two before I had. But he’s made amazing progress with the two of you,” I said. “He’ll be a wonderful young man when he grows up.”

“That he certainly will be,” Julia agreed. “So, switching topics, how about a girls’ day out soon. Us three and Kenna?”

“Sure,” I agreed. “What about the boys?”

“Josh can stay with Toby and Zach for the day. I think it’d be good for them all,” Julia said. “It’s amazing that the boy who once feared men adores them, as long as Josh is in the room at least.”

“Oh man, Melio keeps goading Toby into arguments constantly!” Violet laughed.

“I do no such thing!” Melio said, entering the kitchen. “Your boy is hungry.”

“And let me guess, so are you?” I asked, lifting an eyebrow at my brother in law.

“When isn’t he?” Julia laughed.

“Hey!” Melio said, not upset about the statement.

I just shook my head.

Everything really was turning out better than I ever expected it to.
