Epilogue
Jacob barely had time to close the apartment door behind him before he was being kissed into the wall.
Jacob pulled back with a breathless laugh.
“How long have you wanted to do that?” he asked.
Dino smiled and pressed even tighter against him.
“How long have you been in the league?”
Jacob rolled his eyes and slid his hands under the back of Dino’s shirt, making the younger man shiver.
“Since I got signed,” Dino admitted. “I thought you were really cute. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t want to start right away. I thought it might be distracting.”
Jacob stood on his toes and roughly kissed his way up the side of Dino’s neck.
“A distraction, huh?” he whispered against the D-man’s flushed skin.
Dino’s head lulled back and he exhaled breathily. Jacob could feel him getting hard against his abdomen.
“Do you want…” Jacob began, heart in his throat.
Dino silenced him with another kiss followed by an enthusiastic nod.
Jacob bit his lip and inclined his head toward the bedroom.
Dino grinned and took a step back, allowing Jacob to lead the way.
Once inside, Dino pulled off his t-shirt and sat down on the corner of the bed.
“How you wanna do this?” he asked.
Jacob took a second to respond, too busy admiring the view.
“I want you inside of me,” he admitted finally. He had said he was done holding himself back and he meant it.
Dino’s eyes clouded over with desire and he nodded his consent.
“Come here.”
Jacob went and stood in the space between Dino’s spread legs. Dino undressed him painfully slowly, pausing to run his fingers over every newly exposed patch of skin like he had just received a wonderful and unexpected gift.
This intimate display made Jacob feel incredibly vulnerable, but he also cherished that look of wonder in Dino’s eyes. The thought that it was all for him, and him alone, sent a chill down Jacob’s spine.
Then Dino’s mouth was on his cock and it was all he could do not to crumple to the ground right then and there.
Jacob moaned, shameless and loud, and Dino looked up at him with hooded eyes as he bobbed up and down.
Jacob let the pleasure build until he couldn’t take it anymore. Then he was pulling away and begging Dino to fuck him.
Dino inhaled sharply and stood. Somewhere along the line he had lost his sweatpants and now his erection was on full display.
Jacob couldn’t help himself.
“Is that why they call you The Dinosaur?” he asked.
The redness in Dino’s cheeks deepened. “You feel like getting handsy?” he shot back.
Jacob laughed, planted a soft kiss on Dino’s temple as an apology for the bad joke and then climbed onto his bed. He rummaged through the nightstand drawer and came up with a half-used bottle of lotion. He tossed the bottle at Dino and then sprawled out on his back with his knees bent and spread apart like an invitation.
Dino spent a few minutes lathering himself up and stretching Jacob out. Jacob appreciated the caution, but he was growing more impatient by the second.
Finally, Dino lifted Jacob’s legs over his shoulders with trembling fingers and carefully eased his way in.
Jacob gasped. He hadn’t been with another guy in years and he had almost forgotten the sensation of being completely filled up.
Then Dino started moving and Jacob stopped thinking entirely.
He didn’t last long. Dino was making these deep growling sounds at the back of his throat and slamming into Jacob’s prostate at just the right angle. It was all too much. He started stroking himself at a manic and desperate pace.
“I’m gonna cum,” he warned Dino with only seconds to spare.
Dino pulled out and thrust into his hand.
They came seconds apart, sending stripes of white all across Jacob’s bare chest.
Later, after they’d both cleaned up, talked, and made out some more, the two of them lay together in Jacob’s bed, quietly enjoying each other’s company.
Jacob was lying on his side with Dino’s arms and legs wrapped around him like a spider monkey. He could feel the other man’s breath steady and warm on the back of his neck.
He felt more relaxed than he could ever remember being.
He was dimly aware of the fact that he and Dino were going to be in massive trouble for skipping out on postgame like they had, but he couldn’t find it in himself to care.
Instead, Jacob was mulling over all the firsts that had transpired in the short week and a half that he’d known Dino: first openly gay player in the MLH, first playoff run in Dells history, first fighting major of his career, and finally, his first time opening up about his feelings and what had happened to Bill.
In the midst of all this thinking, Jacob could not help but feel that, playoffs or no playoffs, he was excited to experience a million more firsts with Dino at his side.
