His Truth by Riley Hart (33)

THIRTY-FIVE

Dinner went well. Roman enjoyed seeing Leo and Amy interact. They teased each other and laughed together. They were both more carefree and go-with-the-flow than Roman was, so he wasn’t surprised they got along well. He also wasn’t stupid. There was no doubt in his mind that Leo and Amy’s conversation had steered toward him while he was gone. He intended to find out what had been said too.

“I should probably get going.” Amy stood and stretched. They’d sat around visiting after dinner—Amy and Roman drinking wine, and Leo his beer.

“Are you okay to drive?” Roman asked her, pushing to his feet as well, and Leo did the same.

“I absolutely am not. That’s why I didn’t drive and I already checked for an Uber.”

The three of them laughed. “I’ll walk you down,” Roman told her. He waited as Leo and Amy said their goodbyes, and then he went with Amy outside to wait for her car.

“I like him. He seems like a good man,” she said when they got to the street. “Not that my opinion matters, and it shouldn’t. I just wanted you to know.”

He smiled at her, again realizing how lucky he was to call her a friend. “It matters, and thank you.” Roman pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead.

Amy’s arms wrapped tightly around his waist. “I love you,” she told him.

“I love you too.” He always would.

It was then that her car pulled up to the curb. Roman opened the door for her, and said, “Call me when you get home.” He closed the door, and the car drove away. He watched until they disappeared from sight.

Tonight had gone well. He felt great. Everything was coming together. Everything felt right.

Roman turned and made his way back into his apartment. He opened the door to see Leo standing there waiting for him. “Did you miss me?” he teased, closing them in together.

“What do you think?” Leo stepped closer.

“I think yes. What did she say to you while I was gone?” He needed to know, needed to make sure Amy hadn’t put Leo on the spot.

“Nothing. She’s just worried about you. I assured her you’re okay.”

Leo’s body was flush with Roman’s now, Roman’s back against the door. His shaky fingers worked the buttons on Roman’s shirt; then he stopped and looked Roman in the eyes. There was so much passion, so much concern in his stormy eyes. “You’re okay, right? You’d tell me if you weren’t okay?”

Roman’s heart thudded against his chest. Blood rushed through his ears. “Yes. Of course I’m okay.” How could he not be? His life was finally coming together truthfully.

“Promise me, Ro. Promise me if you ever aren’t, that you’ll tell me. If we’re going too fast, or something doesn’t feel right, you need to tell me.” Leo’s fingers began working his buttons again until his shirt was completely open.

“I promise,” Roman hissed out as Leo’s warm hands ran down his chest. The touch made him shiver. He felt it down to the marrow of his bones. He’d always felt Leo that deep. Leo would always be a part of him.

“Say it again,” Leo told him before pushing Roman’s shirt off his shoulders. It fell to the floor.

“I promise.” He’d say it a hundred more times if Leo needed him to.

Leo’s long, nimble fingers went to Roman’s pants next, unbuttoning and unzipping them. He slid them down Roman’s legs, and that was all it took for Roman’s dick to start getting hard. His skin heated. He breathed heavily. He wanted Leo’s hands on him, his mouth on him, his cock inside him. “Leo…”

“I’m getting there.”

“I want your skin.”

Roman stepped out of his pants and underwear as Leo pulled his own shirt over his head and tossed it. He still wore his pants, while Roman stood naked against the door. Their chests touched—hot skin against hot skin—right before Leo’s mouth came down on his.

It was a slow, sensual kiss that still made his fucking knees go weak. Roman dug his fingers into Leo’s sides, holding him, pulling him closer as they kissed against the door.

Roman’s hand tangled in Leo’s dark hair. He dropped his head backward as Leo kissed his neck, licked his Adam’s apple, and then sucked one of his nipples into his mouth. Roman hissed out a curse. “Jesus, I can hardly stand up. Let’s go to my bed.”

“No,” Leo told him. “Can’t wait.” And then he was lowering Roman to the floor. It was hard and cool against his back, but he didn’t care. Roman lay flat, and Leo leaned over him.

He thrust as Leo’s warm, wet mouth swallowed his dick. “Fuck…oh Jesus, what your mouth does to me.”

He almost screamed when Leo pulled off. Leo was on his knees, his hands flat on the floor as he hovered over him. Roman closed his eyes, dropped his head to the side and threw one arm over his head, when Leo spoke again. “What you do to me, Ro. What you’ve always done to me… You are so fucking beautiful, it’s almost unreal. Like someone crafted you.” He ran a finger down Roman’s jawline. “I should have known I could never keep things casual with you. Never could. I’ve loved you too much for too long.”

Roman’s eyes jerked open then, and he looked up at Leo; saw the man he was now and the boy who made him feel like it was okay to be who he was. Who taught him what it felt like to love someone and have someone love him in return. There was a twitch in his chest. His heart sped up—so many damn emotions that Roman couldn’t focus on any of them except one. “I love you too.”

Leo winked at him. “You better say that. Now let me get to work on this dick. I want to ride you, Roman.”

His cock jerked against his stomach as precome leaked from the tip. “No,” Roman replied. “Not here. I don’t want to take you for the first time on the hard floor.”

Leo stood. He pulled a condom and a small packet of lube from his pocket and then held his hand out for Roman. He latched on and let the other man pull him to his feet.

Their fingers were locked as Leo led him to the couch. Leo took his pants off and nodded toward the sofa, and Roman sat down right before Leo straddled his lap.

They made out for what felt like an eternity.

Roman ran his hands up and down Leo’s back, loving the feel of Leo’s skin beneath his hands.

Then Leo pulled back, ripped open the condom, and rolled it down Roman’s erection. The simple touch made his body short-circuit. There was so much heat in every one of Leo’s touches.

He opened the lube next, slicked up Roman’s prick as Roman hissed out in pleasure. Then he handed Roman the packet.

“Get me ready for you, Ro,” he said as he moved forward, higher on his knees so he leaned over the back of the couch.

He couldn’t wait to feel Leo from the inside—to pleasure Leo the way he always craved Leo to pleasure him.

Once his finger was wet, he ran it in circles over Leo’s hole, pushed the tip of his finger in, and it was so fucking tight, Roman couldn’t imagine what it would feel like to be inside him.

“Fuck me with your fingers for a minute. You can use two on me. I’ll be fine without it, but if you want to play…”

Roman definitely wanted to play.

He pushed two fingers inside Leo’s hole, pushed in deep before pulling them out again. He stretched Leo, explored him, savored him until Leo was thrusting against him and begging for Roman’s dick…and Roman couldn’t wait to give it to him.

He had to relube his cock, but as soon as he did, Leo hovered over him. Roman held his prick at the base as Leo slowly lowered himself.

“Oh fuck. Jesus, you feel so fucking good.” Roman’s eyes rolled back, his lids fluttered. He thought he might drop dead now from the feeling of Leo’s ass hugging him.

“Jerk me off, baby. Play with my dick while I ride you,” Leo told him, and Roman did. He wrapped a tight fist around Leo’s prick and stroked just as Leo rose up and then lowered and impaled himself on Roman’s cock again.

“Oh fuck,” Roman repeated. He was pretty sure those were the only two words his vocabulary could accomplish right now, so he said them over and over and over as he made love to Leo. As they made love to each other.

Leo kissed him again. They were a tangle of bodies attached in different ways. Roman wanted to be attached in every way he could to Leo.

His balls begged to release, screamed at him. He jerked Leo faster. This was the first time he had Leo. He damn sure needed Leo to enjoy it as much as he did.

Then it was Leo who moved slightly, who shifted them so Roman was hitting him at a different angle. He thrust again, harder and harder, until… “Right there. Fuck yes, right there,” Leo told him before he came—long spurt after long spurt all over Roman’s hand and chest.

As he did, his ass tightened, milked Roman’s dick, and then his balls drew up and he let loose. His vision swam. Hell, he thought he saw fucking stars as he fucked through his own orgasm.

He slipped out of Leo, and Leo leaned against him. Roman wrapped his arms around him as they breathed deeply against each other.

“I love you,” Roman told him.

“It’s always been you, Ro,” Leo replied.

Mine was the one word that played through Roman’s head. Leo was finally his, and he would do whatever he could to keep him.
