Legion of Guardians: (Book 1-5) by Xyla Turner (16)

––––––––

I USED MY SPARE KEY to Lori’s place, which was the extension to her parents’ house and tried not to turn on too many lights. Then I sent Lori a quick text letting her know I was staying there so if she came home early she wouldn’t be startled.

As I sat on the sofa, trying to finish rereading my book, I realized my plan was stupid. There was no way I would get any sleep because the place was just as scary as my place. After a while, I finally did doze off until a noise startled me awake.

Holy shit, someone was inside of the room with me.

“Kylie?” A voice whispered as I screamed bloody murder.

A hand covered my mouth, muffling my cries. I stomped my foot down on theirs and went to pound their balls, but he grabbed my wrist like he knew what was going to happen, thus throwing me off guard. He quickly spun me around and I started to scream again, until I saw it was Apollo.

Fucking Apollo.

“What the fuck, Apollo?” I yelled.

“What the fuck to you. Running off like that. Fuck is wrong with you woman?”

“Nothing is wrong with me.”

“Come on,” he said as he grabbed me by the wrist.

I maneuvered my arm out of his and said, “I’m not going back. You haven’t heard; you guys are no longer employed to protect me.”

“Listen, you want to be stupid, fine by me, you ain’t my old lady. But, sitting in here with a flimsy ass lock between you and God knows what, calling yourself trying to hide, is just plain stupid. Do yourself a favor and stay at Razor’s.”

“I will not stay at Razor’s and don’t you dare tell him where I’m at.”

Apollo laughed. “Girl, you fucking around with my man. Yeah, he lost it, but he’s lost in you.”

“No, you’re wrong,” I snapped. “He didn’t just simply lose it. He made it quite clear that I had nothing to do with his business.”

“Yeah, well that ain’t my business. What is my business is your safety. Now, where are you going or where am I dragging your ass to?”

I glared at him, but he wouldn’t be moved. He was the Sergeant at Arms for the Guardians. His sole purpose was to enforce and ensure the safety and security of the club. Apollo didn’t take much from anyone and people didn’t fuck with him. The man knew surveillance and he was sharp. Not much passed him, probably how he found me.

Bitch.

“Take me to my dad’s house,” I finally said.

“Let’s go or you’ll encounter Razor 4.0 in ten minutes.”

“What?” I asked.

“Let’s go. He’s on his way. I’ll call him from the truck.”

Oh shit.

We were en route to my parents when Apollo hit his cell screen and said, “I got her...she’s fine...demanded to go to her parents...not fighting with your old lady...she almost snatched my balls off...hold on.” Apollo tried to hand me the phone.

My hands crossed over my chest and I shook my head.

“She ain’t taking it...okay,” Apollo said and then hung up the phone.

When I arrived, my dad knew something was wrong. First it was eleven in the evening and second, I’m sure I looked a bit rattled.

“Running? Huh?” he asked.

“No, just thinking.”

“I swear you’re your mother’s child.” He shook his head. “Almost feel sorry for the man.”

“Dad, you don’t even know what happened,” I snapped.

“Oh, but I do. Somewhere in your mind, you probably made a decision that impacted him. Little did you know that it impacted him because you thought it only affected you. I can almost bet you did not discuss it with the one it impacted the most. Y’all just do your shit, get mad when the other doesn’t see your side and do you.”

My eyes were wide.

Shit.

“How’d you...”

“You’re your mother’s child.” He pulled out the ice cream.

Two scoops of strawberry for me and two for him was our usual talking snack.

“I went to Razor’s estranged mom’s house and called myself trying to mend fences. He found out and lost his shit. Told me it was none of my business. I had no right or place to do it. So I left. No rights, no place. I left.”

Dad smirked then shook his head. “You know our divorce was your mother’s bright idea. She was at the beginning stages of her illness and she did not want to tell me about it. She just let me believe she fell out of love and wanted to move on with her life. Of all the things, I wanted her to be happy. Wanted her to live her life and damn if I would have known she was sick. She was concerned about my campaign while I was suffering from a broken heart. I couldn’t have given a damn about a campaign or office. Just her.”

Damn, I didn’t even know that.

“It was her idea?”

He nodded and took a scoop of ice cream. “Yup, even convinced me. It wasn’t until I found out she was sick that I realized she had orchestrated this from the beginning.” He put the spoon in the bowl and continued, “Decided I’d be better off without her.”

“Damn, Dad.” I was stunned.

“Well, sort of like what you’re doing now. Made a decision that clearly impacted him, without discussion and then when he rightfully got upset, you make yet another decision that will impact him. It’ll affect you both, but he doesn’t even have a say. You took that choice from him.”

Fuck.

I sighed.

“Dad, he said I had no rights. Said I had no place.”

“Do you?” he asked with one eyebrow raised.

“Well, he’s been treating me like I do. Though nothing has been finalized, I thought we were on that road.”

“He never said you were on that road.”

“Not verbally. Just in actions. Told me I was staying with him. Has me involved with his son, businesses, and I even have a job working at Pepper as the entertainment manager,” I added. “It’s not a handout and it’ll let me keep singing.”

“Okay, that all sounds good. However, he hasn’t said anything?”

“No.” I frowned at my father’s ability to see through my bullshit.

Well, my stupidness again. Here, I thought I was being smart. Nope, just being young and dumb.

“Well, for what it’s worth. I think he’s waiting for you. He stood flat-foot in here and told your mother and me that he’s all in. I believe him, however, the question is, are you?”

“Huh? Waiting for me?” I asked. “I’ve made my intentions clear.”

“Have you?” My dad questioned, “Have you had that conversation?”

That reminded me of the conversation we did not finish...about my future plans.

Goddamit.

“No, we didn’t finish it.”

“Ahhh,” he replied and finished off his ice cream. “I suspect he’ll be coming here in the morning. Just don’t have any long, drawn out yelling matches. Your mother will be sleeping.”

“Night Dad.”

He was right on all counts and I was wrong.

Completely wrong.

The next morning, my phone buzzed with a text from Razor.

Come to the door.

When I looked out the window, I saw Razor leaning on his bike and his gaze was right in my line of sight. As usual, he looked sexy as hell leaning on his bike like that.

Simmer down, Kylie.

As I opened the door, I saw he was no longer near his Harley, but sauntering up the walkway. The house was at the end of a cul-de-sac so any and everyone could see us if they were up, as it was six in the morning.

“Razor, it’s six in the morning. What are you doing here?” I asked as I slowly closed the door.

“Couldn’t sleep.”

He was standing at the bottom of the steps looking up at me, while I stood at the top in pajama bottoms, a tank top and slippers. Neither of us moved any further but remained looking at one another. He looked rough, rugged and rundown.

“Come home,” he said simply.

His eyes remained lifted and on me. “That’s your home, Razor. Not mine.”

He put his head down and then raised it again and growled, “Well, make it yours.”

“It’s not my place to make it mine,” I replied.

He took a step up and said, “Come home, sweetheart.”

“I’m good where I’m at. I can have Shay come and get my stuff tomorrow after work, but I won’t be coming back to your house.”

“Wrong answer,” Razor hissed as he took the stairs two at a time, until I was leaning against the brick on the house. “Let me clarify something for you. Told you before, not letting you go. You want to cut me loose, you look me in the eyes and tell me that. Show me that. Until then, you’re with me. You don’t get to do that. You don’t get to steer my boat and pull up anchor because you don’t like something. That’s not a fucking relationship. It’s not one that will last. You deal with that shit. I’m mad, you deal. You’re mad, I deal. We’re mad and we’ll deal. You fucked up, Kylie. I don’t take that back, you had no right. That was my personal shit. That was...”

“No,” I stood on my toes to get back in his face. “I had every goddamn right. You’re never going to let me go? You want me to come home? You won’t let me leave? Then you prove that shit. You have been estranged from your family for over ten years. Fucking...ten years. You call your house a home? Then if you know anything about me, you should know that I’ll stop what I’m doing and put my career on hold to take care of home. My home. My mom and her sickness. She didn’t ask, I didn’t tell her, it’s what I did. That is because it’s important to me. You are important to me. So I wished to mend something that despite all you didn’t say, I knew was broken inside. Why, because for me, you’ve become my safe place.” A tear started to roll down my face. “So I wanted that for you. Peace and reconciliation. I want that for you. So, yes, it was my damn place and my fucking right to intervene. And fuck you if you don’t agree.” I pushed him in the chest as the tears started to pour down my face. “You’ve given me so much and I wanted to do something for you. That was it and you have the fucking nerve to say, it wasn’t my place. Like I was that whore at the movie theaters. Like I was nobody to you.”

He cornered me against the wall again with my hands pressed on his chest. “How could you ever say that? You’re nobody to me? You’re fucking everything to me. You’re all that I have. You are home. It’s not a place. Not even a feeling. You’re just home for me. I don’t need them. None of them.”

“You don’t mean that, Razor. Your home is with your brotherhood and that’s fine with me, but you do need people. I’m not your home.”

“Yes, you are,” he grounded out, in what sounded like pain. “You come before all of that; my brothers, my club. Besides Mace, you’re all I have.” I shook my hand, but he leaned in and kissed my lips. “It’s just you, Kylie.” He kissed me again. “All I want is you.”

By this point, his hands were around my waist and I was pressing against his chest still trying to push him away. “No, Razor.”

“Wrong answer, Kylie.” He kissed my lips again and didn’t let go.

Pressing me against the house, I could feel his strong physique against my body. One hand held my neck while the other was around my lower back. His tongue invaded my mouth and the mixing of us brought back every other time he kissed, touched or stroked inside of me. All of these familiar thoughts and feelings started to attack me at the same time and I was mad all over again.

My strength kicked in and I pushed Razor completely off of me. Well, he let me as his eyebrows drew together.

“No, Razor. You tell me what you feel about me. You tell me what you want with me. Never let you go doesn’t mean shit. What do you see for us? What’s next?” I was out of breath.

He ran his hands through his hair and said, “You don’t know?”

“No, because you’ve never said it.”

“I’m still trying to figure out where we stand. Your mom is better?” he asked, pointing toward the house. “What does that mean for you? Huh? You staying? Leaving? Where does that leave us? You think I’d stand in the way of your dreams? Try to strap you down here if you wanted to see the world? Love you, Kylie. You stole my heart and sweetheart it belongs only to you, but I have no idea what your next move is. I mean it. I won’t let you go. I’ll hold on until you tell me to stop and I mean that shit, but I won’t hold you back. I won’t tie you down as much as I want to.”

What in the actual fuck?

There were no words left as I stood there stunned by his words and admission. Xander Razor Willis just said he loved me. There was nothing else to say. He approached me again; caging my body against the wall with his lips hovered over mine.

“Tell me to go,” he said. “Tell me it’s over.” I turned my head away from him. Razor nipped my ear and whispered, “Send me away.”

“I can’t,” I murmured.

And dammit, if I couldn’t. I was not sure if I wanted to go out on the road again, but I was sure that I did not want to leave the safety of Razor. I understood what he meant. He had become home for me in so many ways as well.

In all the ways that mattered.

“Then come home.” He turned my face back towards him. “Let’s go.”

I nodded and he backed up.

“Gotta grab my stuff. I’ll be right back.”

He nodded and I ran upstairs to get my stuff and ran into my dad.

“Heard you got your answer.” He smiled.

I laughed softly as I was a little nervous about all that he heard.

“Yeah,” I replied. “Just going to get my stuff.”

“Proud of you sweetheart. He’s a tough man, but like I thought, he ain’t a dumb one.”

I turned around and hugged my dad. “Thanks Dad. Love you.”

“Love you too, baby girl.”

Razor and I drove home and we both got in bed. There was no hanky panky, just good ole’ sleep. We were exhausted as neither of us got any sleep last night. When I finally woke up, Razor was outside on the grill. The smoke was coming in through the bedroom window and it smelled delicious.

After taking care of business in the bathroom, I joined Razor outside on the deck. He was barefoot, wearing faded jeans and a t-shirt.

“Hey, sleepyhead,” he called to me.

“Hey yourself. All this delicious food woke me up.”

“Good, my plan worked.”

I reached him and wrapped my arms around his center. He kissed my hair and then said, “Just making burgers.”

“Great, I’m starving.”

When the burgers were done, we ate outside in the sun that coated us with warmth despite the cold front. Razor was calm and his hands were all over me.

“Want to introduce you to some folks later.” Razor cut through our silence.

“Okay.”

He polished off the last of his burger and pulled me out of the seat so I was sitting on his lap. Then he started to rub my stomach.

“How many kids you want?” Razor asked without a hint of humor or sarcasm.

“Two, maybe three,” I answered soberly, as I put half of my burger to the side.

“Big or small wedding?”

Holy shit.

Fucking Razor was not playing around.

“Uh, my mom will only allow for a big wedding, so...” I laughed this time.

“You want a new house or you want to redo this house?”

“Razor, are you serious?” I asked.

“Very. New or redo?” he asked again.

“Redo.  I love this house.” I slid my arm around the back of his neck.

“Want to travel? See the world. Explore? Vacation?” He moved my hair out of my face. “We’ll do all of that. You tell me and it’s done.”

“Razor.” I smiled.

“You want to keep singing and record? I’ll build you a studio and make it happen.”

“No need for that Razor.” My jaws were hurting from the smile that I couldn’t wipe off of my face.

“You want me to mend the fences with my family? I’ll do it, Kylie. I won’t turn my back on my brothers or you, but I’ll try to fix what’s broken.”

“Xander Willis,” I said causing him to stop completely. “I don’t give a fuck what we live in, what we drive, where we work, and I definitely won’t make you mend fences with anyone if you don’t feel it’s necessary. I just want to be with you and I want you happy.”

I lowered my head down to kiss him on the lips. He let me take over for a little and then he took control like he knew I wanted. He demanded it from me and I yielded to him every time. I loved it.

Razor tore off my shirt and used both of his hands to squeeze both of my breasts.

“Fuck!” he groaned. “Say my name again.”

“Xanderrr,” I purred.

He licked both of my nipples and kept using his tongue to drive me crazy. My peaks were hard as bullets and his constant massaging had my thong soaked. My boxer shorts were rising up as I twisted around on his leg.

“Stand up,” he commanded.

Immediately, I obeyed him and he turned me around so my ass was facing him. Pulling down my boxers, he took my thong off as well.

“Wanna see that ass red,” he said. “Bend over.”

Slowly, I tilted my torso over with my ass protruding towards him.

Slap.

“You’re so beautiful.”

Slap.

“And sexy.”

Slap.

“Naughty.”

Slap.

“You love my punishments.”

I wiggled my ass around for him.

Slap.

“I love giving them.”

Slap.

“Oh, that ass is almost red. Just the way I like it.”

Slap.

“One more, darling. Then I want that mouth on my cock.”

“Hmm,” I moaned.

Slap.

“Such a good girl.”

I quickly turned and dropped to my knees in front of him. It was an act of submission, but I had no problems submitting to Razor. The man submitted to me every day. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner he fixed. Every time he drove me somewhere. Every time he put me first and then himself. Even just now, he asked what I wanted in regards to our future. What I needed, what he could do for me.

Damn straight I’d marry Xander Razor Willis and I would not change one vow.

I would submit to him any day because he submitted to me every day.

After unzipping him, my mouth already salivating about his long, thick cock, I moved his boxers out of the way and tried to swallow him.

“Goddamn,” Razor hissed.

It was a tad bit rough, but Razor liked rough. I tried to swallow him again but this time, he grabbed my hair like I loved and moved his hips so his cock was touching the back of my throat. His fingers gripped my mane to hold me still in order to take him.

“Oh! Take it, baby.” He held on tight. “Take it all.”

Razor continued to pump his hard cock in my mouth. Trying to take all of him, I opened my mouth wider and relaxed my throat.

He growled and then pulled himself completely out of my mouth.

“Sit on it and ride baby.” He smirked, “Just ride.”

He didn’t have to tell me twice, I moved around enough so I could get the maximum amount of his long cock and slid down. That entrance had me about to cum. My kitty was wet and I was feeling all kinds of frisky. I begin to shake my ass on his cock, making it twirl like something off of a music video. It was driving him wild. Razor slapped my ass and I kept twisting on him, making my cheeks bounce.

He slapped my ass again, causing more bouncing. My arms rested on his shoulders as I moved my hips around and gyrated up and down on Razor. He kept growling while I rode him into the next universe. When it got good, he spanked me and kept his hand on my ass.

“Keep moving like that. I’m about to cum.”

“Yes.” I picked up my pace.

I rose all the way up so the tip was still inside and twirled my ass back down, so I was sitting back on him. Once I did that several more times, Razor took over, held me by my hips, pumped into me three times and then bit my shoulder releasing his seed in me.

“God Razor.”

We stayed like that for a long time. Too long for us to remember or even care that we were outside or that I was naked. He carried me up to the shower and we lazily washed each other then he got me off with his hand.

Razor did not tell me where he was taking me but when I saw the Legion of Guardians Columbia chapter, I realized it was where he started out in the ranks. His original chapter. We were on his bike; which had me hoping we could get in some action again. That was hot as shit. Maybe this time, he’d leave the motor running.

When we pulled up, a tall guy emerged from the warehouse, which I assumed was their compound. He squinted at us for a bit and then a huge grin spread across his face.

“Motherfuckin’ Razor,” he yelled and they moved to half hug and slap each other on the back the way guys did.

“Regal,” Razor said with an equal grin across his face.

“Goddamn, man. If you ain’t a sight for sore eyes.” They finished their embrace. “Heard you’re doing great things over in Manor. Fucking great things for the entire east coast chapter.”

“Brother, I’m living.” Razor had both of his hands on his shoulders. “Need to introduce you to someone.”

“Fuck.” The man peered from around Razor. “Is this yours?”

“Yeah,” Razor answered with a sweet smile. “That’s mine.”

He motioned for me to come over to him. “This is Kylie, my lady.”

“Well, goddamn. She’s fucking beautiful.”

“Thanks,” I said, while Razor answered, “I know.”

Shaking my head, the man pulled me in for a hug. “Names Regal. Pleased to meet ya darlin’.”

“Likewise,” I replied.

“Let me get a picture of you two for the wall. The last one we have is almost ten years old.”

I moved away from Razor and said, “I don’t have to be in the picture.”

He grabbed my hand and snapped me to him, growling, “Get your ass over here and take the picture with me.”

Placing me in front of him, his right hand grabbed the top of my tank top and pulled it down. Not far enough to reveal anything, but enough to show ownership. I did not care because it was sexy as shit. He moved my hair to one side of my head and the guy snapped several shots. When he was done, Razor squeezed one of my breasts and said, “That picture will start the beginning of our album.”

Oh my God.

“Man, everybody’s in there. Pete too. I’m bout to head out. The old lady got a big meal planned for my boy. Thanks for helping him with that job out in Brooklyn.”

“Anytime, man.” We headed for the steel door hand in hand.

As soon as we walked through, everybody stopped and stared.

Okay.

Maybe this wasn’t a good idea.

Then a frenzy erupted with shouts of, “Razor, Ahh Raz, what the fuck, goddamn, fucking Razor.”

If his name was Norm, I would have felt like we were in a TV episode of Cheers.

Men, one by one, came to give him a half-hug and a few slaps on the back. I swear the entire place came to acknowledge him. He held my hand the entire time, and when we made our way to the back, I saw an older guy with gray hair, beard and the cut that read president. This must have been Pete.

The man smiled bright and got up to greet Razor.

“Razor, Razor,” the man said with a jovial tone.

“Pete.” They slapped each other on the back and held their embrace for a lot longer than the rest.

“Been awhile.”

“Yeah, just obeying orders.”

“It worked, didn’t it?” The older man nodded his head as he sat back down.

“Guess so.” Razor sat down next to the man and said, “Want you to meet someone.”

“That beauty over there?”

Razor pulled me towards him and sat me on his lap.

“Yeah, this is Kylie. My lady."

"Must be the one, I gather."

"That she is." Razor nodded. "Mine."

"Good. That's good to hear son." The older man smiled at me. "Good to hear."

"What's new?" Razor asked.

"Same shit, different toilet," he replied. "Skinny got hitched. Log has moved up and I'm getting too old for this shit."

"Nah," Razor laughed. "You the O.B."

My eyebrows squeezed together. These guys were about to talk biker shit, so I tapped Razor on the arm and said, "I'm going to the restroom, okay?"

He nodded and pointed towards the back. I noticed there were only a few women around. They were occupied with men, so I would not be getting lost. I bent down and kissed him on the lips and then whispered, "You're my home. I'm not going on the road again. I'm staying home."

His eyes grew wide and he went to grab me, but I evaded him and laughed as I walked away. I heard their president say, "Oh, yeah. You're gone."

"Told you." Razor laughed. "Got me by the fucking balls."

I went to open the door and everything went black.
