“I’m sorry, Keith but I’ve rechecked and double checked the results. You have an anomaly in your blood and if not corrected soon, it will kill you. It’s a very rare disorder, but there is an experimental treatment that might work. I’m literally going to have to drain your blood and then replace it with a fresh supply. I can’t be sure that’s going to work, but it’s the only hope that you have.” Tina didn’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but she was not about to sugarcoat anything to any patient. You say that there’s an experimental treatment and I guess I’m going to have to put myself into your capable hands.
