The Billionaires Club Duet by Sky Corgan (50)

“I suppose now would be a good time to make any changes in the original design that we didn't like.” Croix stands at the bedroom window of our suite looking out over the forest behind the resort. He's all sexy businessman in a dark navy suit, his posture impeccable, his hands slid into the pockets of his slacks.

“I was fine with the original design,” I reply absentmindedly as I unpack the few things that I brought with me.

The suite that Bruno put us in is expansive—one of the billionaire's suites. It's everything that a woman would think a billionaire's loft would look like—completely self-contained with a view to die for. This is one of the rooms where the clients come to fuck. Knowing that diminishes the romance of it for me. As I go about putting my clothes in the chest of drawers, I imagine all of the sexual acts that took place in this very room. It should arouse me, but it doesn't.

“There are a few things I want to change.”

“You make it sound like you're glad this happened.” I cast a soft smile at him over my shoulder.

“I'm not. I'm just making idle conversation.” He takes a deep breath before he turns to me.

I knew he was. He doesn't look particularly happy.

“Are you really sure we'll be okay?” I take the final garment from my suitcase, refolding it slowly.

“If you're talking about the club, then yes. No one is going to bother it with the amount of security that will be patrolling it.” He circles the bed before stepping up behind me and wrapping his arms around me. “If you're talking about us, I hope so. I don't anticipate anyone attacking us, but there are a lot of crazy people out there. Would you like for me to hire you a bodyguard?”

“A bodyguard?” I laugh. The idea is preposterous. I can't imagine having some burly guy following me around. Not that I go anywhere. Considering that I stay home most of the time, it would be a wasted expense.

“I'm willing to do anything to keep you safe.” His grip tightens around me, and I feel his erection pressing against my ass.

I twist in his arms. “If you're not hiring one for you, then I don't need one either.”

“I'm not a woman.”

“Are you saying that because I'm a woman I can't defend myself?” I gasp playfully before jabbing him in the ribs with my index finger. It effectively makes him recoil, a grin spreading across his lips the second that he recovers.

His features soften as he steps forward to take me into his arms again. “I'm saying that there are bad people out there, and I don't want anything to happen to you.”

“I'm sure I'll be fine—that we'll both be fine.” I slide my hand down the length of his tie, trying my best to believe my own words.

He presses his forehead against mine. “If anything were to happen to you, I'd never be able to forgive myself.”

My heart flutters, the tension from everything that's gone on today slowly melting away from the intimacy of the moment.

“Nothing is going to happen to me,” I whisper.

Croix takes my hand and draws it up to his lips, kissing the back of my fingers. “I'm glad that Bruno decided to still open the Florida location. I was worried about what would happen with us if he didn't.”

My chest tightens as he voices the same concerns that I've had since I found out that the Florida location might close.

“I'm glad we don't have to think about that anymore.”

“But we do. If something else happens at The Billionaires Club, I don't want it to rip us apart.” Croix meets my gaze. His expression is earnest. “I like you, Raven. A lot. Maybe even more than I'd like to admit to myself. Promise me that if some shit goes down where this all falls apart...” he hesitates, giving my hand a gentle squeeze. “Promise me that we won't. Promise me that you'll still be willing to try to make this work. That you'll still be willing to try to make us work.”

I can feel my eyes watering, and I'm not even sure why. Maybe because I do care about him a lot. Perhaps it's because he's so sweet. Or maybe because I never let the fear of losing him really sink in until now. Whatever the case, I can feel desperation pulsing through me like the blood in my veins—the desperation to stay by his side no matter what.

“I promise.”

“Show me what you did to the other girls?” If I said I ever thought I'd speak those words to a man, I'd be lying. Right now, though, I'm curious. This is Croix's domain. He's pleasured countless women here, maybe in this very room. I've had more than a taste of what he can do, but I wonder if it's the same as what he did to his clients. I suppose I'm just curious if sex can be overdramatized, and if that makes it even better.

“Are you sure that's what you want?” He stands over me.

I'm sitting at the foot of the bed, staring forward at the front of his blazer as he unbuttons it to reveal the white dress shirt beneath. I knew he wanted to have sex the second that he kissed my neck and I felt his cock swell against me. Surprisingly, it didn't take much to get me in the mood. It never does with him. He holds some magical power over my body that I much appreciate in times of stress when I feel like nothing will get through to me. The fact that he can do that speaks volumes about the connection we have.

“I want to know why this place is so great.” I glance back to the gray satin comforter. It's very masculine yet sensual at the same time. My mind flips through at least a dozen different naked bodies writhing on top of it. Clients and billionaires that we saw in the lobby and around the resort.

“This place is great because it's for a good cause.” He loosens his tie before slipping it from around his neck.

“This place is great because things happen here that don't happen anywhere else.” I look up at him. His eyes are already hooded, seductive. They draw me in—make me crave him.

“You make it sound magical.” He smirks as he shrugs off his blazer and tosses it across the chest of drawers behind him.

“Is it?” I slip my shoes off and crawl back onto the bed.

“Who is supposed to be seducing who?” His eyes travel up my ankle to the hem of my pencil skirt.

“I'm not seducing you. I'm giving you an invitation to do whatever you want to me.”

“Whatever I want to you?” He quirks his head back slightly, the amusement on his handsome face beyond apparent.

“Anything.” I burn into him with my gaze, making the word sound as challenging as possible.

His hands work with fervor, unfastening the buttons down the front of his shirt. When he gets halfway down, he stops abruptly. His expression changes then. It's something I've never seen before. Cocky and in control and inconsiderate. I'm not sure what to make of it.

“Get your pretty little ass back over here.” He points to the edge of the bed.

“Getting bossy now, are we?” I slide back into place at his demand.

He cups my chin, forcing me to look up at him. “You said anything.”

“I did.” I give a slight nod, feeling the firmness of his hand lock my head in place. His eyes never leave mine.

“You want me to show you what I did to those other girls?” He bends slightly, his breath rushing across my cheek before his mouth settles next to my ear. “I fucked them selfishly. I fucked them like I didn't care about them, because I didn't. I shoved my cock down their throats until they choked on it. I ate their pussies until they came so much that they were sore from it. And I fucked them so hard that they couldn't walk right the next day. Fucked them so ruthlessly that everyone in the club knew they had been with me. Is that what you want me to do to you?”

My breath hitches as his grip tightens on my jaw, not because it hurts but because I'm aroused. He sounds so dominant and dangerous. A force to be reckoned with.

I should be turned off thinking about what he did with those other women, knowing that he's been with countless others. Many of them probably hoped for what I have with him now, that he'd like them for more than just the few nights they got to spend with him. They never had him like that though. They never had him like I have him. What we feel when we're together—what he'll feel when he's fucking me—it's not the same that he felt when he was with them, and that makes it special.

I want him unbridled and passionate and as selfish as he can be. I want to know what pleases him so that I can please him better in the future. I have no doubt that I'll enjoy myself—enjoy being used by him.

“I am yours,” I say softly.

He lets go of my chin before raking his fingers through my hair. The way he's looking down at me is as if I'm nothing at all to him. It makes my heart swirl with discomfort, even though I know it's all just an act.

“That's right. You are mine.” He gives my hair a gentle tug. “If this is what you want, then tonight you have no say in anything. If I want to fuck you in the ass, I'll fuck you in the ass. If I want you to choke on my dick until you cry, you'll choke on my dick until you cry. And if I want to fill your cunt with my come, I'll have it running down your thighs in torrents. This is your last chance to escape, Raven.”

I meet his gaze, wanting everything he just threatened and more. “I am yours.”
