Damaged Goods: A Single Dad & Nanny Romance by Rye Hart (39)

CHAPTER EIGHT - LOGAN

Yesterday was both insanely hot and completely stupid. I couldn’t believe I gave in and actually had sex with Kailey. After everything they taught me in school, I couldn’t keep my dick in my pants for even two days. There was just something about this girl that was so irresistible. Just thinking about her wet pussy, tight ass, and perfect tits made me hard. I hoped I got it out of my system. Just one time and then I would be okay. Instead, I just wanted her more. After fucking her like that, I couldn’t get her off my mind. The rest of the day went like any other. She was happy, quiet, and even went to bed early. There was no relentless teasing or crazy amounts of torture, but I still found myself enjoying her company.

That was just it though, I shouldn’t be so close to her that I knew the differences in her personality. She was a dangerous girl, sweeping me in with her sex appeal and charm. Outside of her sex-kitten persona, she was pretty normal—upbeat and had a lot to say. She seemed educated and worldly, but while part of me was shutting it down, the other part was even more curious than before. I looked down the hallway, hearing Kailey downstairs in the kitchen. I got up, dressed in my normal workout gear, and headed downstairs. As I rounded the corner, expecting to find Ms. Sassy making her normal peanut butter toast, I stopped short.

“Good morning,” she said, looking over her bare shoulder and grinning. “I hope you like eggs, because I cooked you some.”

I was speechless. All I could do was stand there, tracing her naked body with my eyes. My mouth was hanging slightly open and she giggled as she pranced around the kitchen carrying a sizzling pan. Her breasts bounced with each step, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. After all that, after everything that happened yesterday, she was right back to driving me absolutely crazy. I reached down and adjusted myself, feeling my cock start to respond.

Calm down, boy. It’s just breakfast.

I think I repeated that to myself about fifteen times as I walked through the doorway to the kitchen table.

She set my plate down in front of me and took the chair on the other side, her breasts leaning against the edge of the wooden table. She leaned forward and put her chin in her hands, smiling at me as I tried to eat without staring at her. I shifted uncomfortably in my chair, wondering why she thought this was a good idea.

“Didn’t you get enough yesterday?” I asked.

“Ha,” she laughed. “No way. I’m just getting started.”

I cleared my throat and pushed my chair up further, not wanting her to notice my raging boner. The eggs were good and I tried my best to concentrate on my plate. She sighed and leaned back in her chair, sitting there her breasts exposed to the world.

“So, tell me about yourself, Officer Logan,” she said with a serious tone. “Did you always want to be a cop? Was your father a police officer?”

“Um, no, actually I grew up wanting to be a carpenter,” I chuckled, finding the change in conversation a good one. “When I was nineteen, I got married, but after a robbery went wrong, I became a widower.”

Kailey crossed her arms in front of her, a sad look on her face. “I’m so sorry. That must have been really hard, especially being so young.”

“It was, but I threw myself into the force,” I replied. “I guess I just wanted to know I could stop at least one family from going through what I went through. It was rough and it still is sometimes. Every year I have to go sit at the parole hearing for her killer. He was just a kid then, but apparently nothing about getting locked up ever sunk in with him. Suffice it to say, I don’t think he will be getting out anytime soon.”

“Good,” she said, shaking her head. “I just don’t know how you could take someone’s life and still sleep at night. It's terrifying.”

“And as far as my father, he died when I was a little boy. From Cancer,” I said, feeling really comfortable with our conversation even though she was stark naked. “I don’t even really remember him. My mom raised me on a waitress salary, but I never really went without anything. She would pick up extra shifts so I could have more opportunities. I didn’t realize what she did for me until I got older.”

“Wow,” she said. “That’s really amazing of your mom. I hope one day I can be a tough mother like that. Do what’s best no matter what.”

“That’s definitely a great goal to have,” I replied, smiling. “How about you? What was your childhood like?”

“It was okay. Nothing like yours. I grew up in a really well-off household, but my parents fought nonstop. When I turned seventeen, I pushed to graduate high school early and got out. My father had turned violent against my mother,” she explained, a bit of pain in her eyes. “I mean, I guess that’s why I have relationship issues. I don’t know. I don’t really believe the psychoanalytical mumbo jumbo, but the way you grow up definitely affects you as an adult.”

“I agree,” I said with a mouthful of eggs. “I have a huge amount of respect for women because I was raised by one who deserved that respect. She made it happen: anything and everything. I think that is where I get my drive. I give up in the present, so I can make things happen, hoping I’ll have time in the future to really enjoy it, or at least set it up for the ones I love.”

“Do you have any brothers or sisters?”

“I don’t,” I replied. “Only child and it’s probably a good thing since I’m so protective. They would hate my guts.”

“Ha,” she laughed. “I have an older brother, but he lives in his own world. He’s definitely my father’s son—riven, proud, and has a temper from hell. We never really got along, and the only feeling I had when I left was a bit of guilt knowing my mom was there with them.

“Yeah, but sometimes you have to break away,” I replied. “Your mom could leave, and I don’t say that lightly since I’ve worked about a thousand domestic abuse cases, but if she really needed to, she could leave. I bet she was proud of you for getting out. She didn’t want to see you go through the same thing.”

“True,” she sighed, looking down at her plate, her eggs now cold. “Maybe that’s why I find you so damn sexy. I’m used to pushovers, and you really know how to put me in my place.”

She leaned forward, lifting her tits on top of the table, brushing over her nipples with her hands. I looked down at her breasts and leaned back in my chair, taking a deep breath. She was so damn tempting, and I really wanted to take her upstairs and fuck her all over again. I shook my head and leaned back in, remembering that I needed to start exercising some serious restraint. I really liked being around her, and she was really easy to talk to, but my dick needed to stay in my pants. She chuckled at my obvious discomfort.

“You're going to hurt yourself holding back so hard,” she giggled. “What’s wrong? You don’t want to take me and bend me over this table? Huh? You don’t want to get off knowing we can see out of the windows, but no one can see in?”

“You are so bad,” I laughed, raising my arms above my head.

She was so bad, but oh so right. Sitting across this table was suddenly not enough, and all I wanted to do was wipe that smirk off her face with my cock. Just imagining those lips wrapped around me, her eyes staring up at me, made me absolutely nuts. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but I had to think of something to keep her off my mind, no matter what tricks she had up her sleeve.
