Belonging: Book Two in The Everett Gaming Series by Drew Sera (17)

Wednesday, November 27th

Anthony

I woke up in the middle of the night to her saying her safe word in her nightmare. That doctor has got to be able to help her with this. She can’t keep this sleep schedule up. I gently woke her up and once she realized it was me, she threw her arms around me. I could feel her body shaking in my arms and I cuddled her against me with the throw. I shook my head at myself when I started to think back to last night at my place without having the bandages or blanket.

I remembered her journal and the request of Chris for her to try to write down her nightmares. I put the notebook on the bed and tried to get her to write but she was too upset and it was so late. I held her in my arms until we both fell asleep.

I woke up to feeling a warm mouth enveloping my morning wood. I remained still but opened my eyes to find the top of Sydney’s head greeting me. Even though I wanted to raise my hips and control the movements in and out of her mouth, I reminded myself that I need to be still and let her do that at her own pace. I tried to hold out as long as I could, but damn it felt good.

“Sunshine, I’m going to come. Move if you don’t want it in your mouth, sweetie.”

I’ve been very good about always giving her the option. I don’t think she was ever given that choice from Howard. I gave her a few moments to decide before I released my warm fluid. I felt her tongue lapping up my come and cleaning my cock. I made sure to cuddle her when she finished and then we got up and took a bath together. It was Wednesday and Colin was coming home late this afternoon. I wasn’t going to work today and would spend the day with Sydney. I had a lot on my mind and needed to sort it out before Colin came home.

I made sure Sydney had lots of physical contact with me through the afternoon. We watched some TV and then she spent some time writing in her notebook on the patio. She really seems to like Colin’s patio and spacious yard that opens up to a golf course. My place didn’t have that. I had a small balcony that overlooked the glitz and noise of Vegas. Sydney needed a place like this. She’s spent too much time cooped up in a tiny studio apartment in a bad area.

Around 4:00 p.m. I got the text from Colin that he just landed. I exhaled a heavy sigh. My alone time with Sydney was up. While I had a good time with her, I was glad Colin was back. He can help her talk about things much better than I can. Sydney and I pulled up to the curb where I found Colin. I popped the trunk of his Range Rover and got out to help him with his bag. Sydney got out of the front seat and Colin pulled her in a tight embrace. I watched him hold her and felt that dropping feeling in my stomach that Matt told me about. Colin was good for her.

“I missed you, baby,” he said while he held her, but kept his eyes on me.

He helped her in the back seat and then roughhoused with me by punching me in the arm before we got into the car.

“I missed you too, Anth and I’m glad to be home. Take me to McDonald’s.”

We headed for the McDonald’s close to his house and heard about Macau and a little bit about business. Sydney was in a good mood and was being playful. At McDonald’s Colin sat across from Sydney and kept smiling and looking at us.

“What’s with the grinning, man? You didn’t come back with another tattoo, did you?” I finally asked him.

“No, I just missed you guys. I wished I could have been here for the appointment with Chris.”

I didn’t want to go into it and I kind of hoped Sydney didn’t either. I looked away for a while and changed the subject to Blake’s party. Colin said he still wanted to go, so we went home and changed for Blake’s.
