Hell's Fire MC: The Full Series by Erin Trejo (113)

Chapter 35

“I don’t think he likes the water,” I say.  Jeremy whines every time we touch his little toes in it.

“He loves his baths, though.” Shrugging, I guess my boy isn’t going to be a swimmer.

“I love it!” Haylee squeals as she throws water around. I’m really glad that I had this pool redone. Ev swims around, her long dark hair trailing behind her. Fuck, she’s beautiful like that. I put Jeremy in his stroller, making sure he’s buckled in tightly before heading toward the steps.

“Daddy, can we buy a dolphin for the pool?” Haylee asks.  I start laughing until I see the serious look on her face.

“We can’t do that.” Shaking my head, she pokes her lip out.

“You said I could have whatever I wanted.” Oh, shit. I did, didn’t I? Everleigh laughs as she watches me try to get out of this one.

“Well I know that, but dolphins can’t live in a pool, darlin’. They have to have room to swim and salt water. We can get a fish if you want but not for the pool.” Her eyes light up like they always do. Haylee plays in the shallow end of the pool while I swim over to Ev.

“You weren’t gonna help me at all were you?” Her smile says it all. That little shit.

“I should spank your ass until it's raw.” Whispering against her neck, she shivers.

“Cold?” Everleigh shakes her head. Damn, I like doing that to her. I will never get enough of seeing the way she reacts to me.

“You’re amazing, Dragon.” Her hands wrap around my neck, her legs around my waist.

“You’re perfect.” Sucking her skin into my mouth, I want to mark her. I want her to walk around wearing something I did to her.

“I want you to fuck me.” My dick responds.

“Later, sweetheart. I will tear that little pussy up.”

Devil got Wiley’s address, and much like his Captain, we are waiting in the dark to say hi. Devil paces the room while I lounge on the couch. It hurts a little that Wiley would do this shit to us, though. We’ve had him on the payroll for a long fucking time.

He’s never steered us wrong, and we’ve never had an issue.

“Why do you think he did it?” Roc’s the one to ask the obvious question.

“Don’t know. As far as I can tell, he needed the money. He needed to pull the eyes off him. They have to be lookin’ hard for Anderson,”  I say. That isn’t lost on the guys either. Ghost crosses his arms, leaning against the wall.

“What would that have to do with Wiley, though?” Shrugging, I have no clue about that either.

I’ve heard things about Wiley before. I heard that some knew he was twisted and playing for the other team. I never put too much thought into it.

“Guess we can ask him.” Devil smiles when I see the headlights pulling in.  My heart picks up its pace. I want to know why he’d do this shit to us. I want to know why he would put word out there and why he was charging Marcus up the ass for help. I don’t believe for one second that he couldn’t help him. There is something else going on. Something deeper than we know. The door opens, and the replay of Anderson flashes in my mind. He comes in, the lights not working. Much like Anderson, Wiley tosses his keys on the table before walking into the living room. And much more like Anderson, Devil grabs him around the throat.

“What the hell are you doing here in my house, Dragon?” The growl that rips from his chest is amazing to me.

“You aren’t hard to find, Wiley. I mean, public records and all.” Devil pulls the gun from his waist before Ghost drops to get the one from his ankle. I cross my arms over my chest and just watch. Roc knocks him back into the chair across the room before pulling the curtain open, so the moonlight shines in.

“What are you doing here?” Look at him acting all calm about all of this.

“Haven’t seen you in a while. Maybe I missed you.” Devil chuckles lightly.

“I highly doubt that. Besides, you know how to call me.” Shrugging my shoulders, I watch as he starts to squirm in his seat.

“We had a nice chat with Marcus. Why was it that you couldn’t help him with his brother without extra money?” His eyes widen slightly before he snaps them back to normal. I didn’t miss that shit.

“His is a felony. I can’t touch that. You of all people know that.” Nodding, I lean forward, resting my elbows on my knees.

“Yeah, I know that part. Who was gonna help him with that much more money?” He glances around, afraid to answer that. I can see the fear rolling off him. What a coward.

“I told them Anderson would.” Well, that is strange.

“No shit? How was he gonna do that?” Here we go. Let’s play the dumb card.

“Come on, Dragon. What do you want from me?” Chuckling, I shake my head.

“Why did you need the money, Wiley?”
